I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.
This channel is part of the kidney disease awareness project I have worked on for years. It started with long conversations with kidney patients in the office and hospital. During these conversations, I was perplexed to see patients’ lack of knowledge about their kidney disease.
To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the RUclips channel you will explore.

Thanks that you liked the video. I am not sure what diet means. But you can eat healthy diet for a month or two and recheck your proteinuria and see if it improved. But basically you have first to ask your nephrologist what is causing proteinuria.

I have Osteoid Osteoma near the hip joint and it pain so badly especially at night , doctors told me that if you go for a operate it would be quite difficult to eliminate it by cutting it as it exists in dangerous place , they asked me to use medicine and wait for 30months atleasf as in this way it will be shrinked its own and the symptoms will disappeared, so i have used diclofenac for 17months consecutively and now i have started to use dispirin 2tab in the morning and 2in the evening, I have alse tested my liver and kidneys 2days before, my creatnine level is 0.9, and all others test are in normal range like CBC, liver etc, I am always conscious about my kidneys as I have to use these painkillers for a year more....my age is 24now

I am not sure what Osteid Sarcoma has to do with pain medicines. Pain medicines are for pain only. Did you get any second opinion on surgery?
@@kidneyblogs yes sir I have visited almost all the seniors doctors of Ortho in Multan city, as i have told them all the scenario that I am using NSAIDs for 17months but they didn't express their opinion about that, they asked me to wait as in most cases this tissue become dead as its own , and 2nd option is surgery and it would be very tough operate , we will cut that part and perhaps we would have to chio a plate to support on the bone on that area....
They didn't make me confidence if i use these medicine more i will not be on risk of damage my stomach, liver or kidneys....
Sir I am sure that my symptoms are decreasing day by day and in the way it will take 4,5 months more...
They suggested me to take dispirin instead others inflammatory drugs as this is the best medicine for that osteoid osteoma...
If in any case symtoms don't go awat then it will be our neccessity to do a operate, if go early then maybe this operate can make complications in future...

My PCR has remained at 0.2 in last 2 years, this month it was 0.34 what could be the reasons behind it? My nephrologist asked to have another test after 2 weeks to check it again
I dont think 0.2 and 0.34 is whole lot different, but make sure that this doesnt keep trending up. I agree with recheck in 2 weeks and if it still keeps getting worst, let your neprologist manage it.

my creatinine 1.43 lab value (0.7-1.5)
uric acid 8.13 (no any symptoms)
total protein 8.13
Weight 86
Age 22
I have no high bp ( only it go to 130-140 when i worry about these raise creatinine)
No sugar
Protine nil
Blood nil
All other are normal
After that i stop eating pork and less protein diet.
Eating lemon water 2 time a day
Drinking water 2 liter a day
Exercise 20 min a day..
Now after 1.5 month
My creatinine 0.93 lab value (0.5-1.3)
Uric acid 5.8
So i have ckd ???
It cannot be determined for sure that you have CKD. It may be that you were just eating too much unhealthy diet and now that you have changed your lifestyle and you body is working better. But keep the healthy lifestyle and keep checking Cr and Urine every 3 months and see the trend. Quit lemon water, it may cause more insulin resistance.

My potassium level is 4.9, can i take finerenone? Im taking already taking valsartan 80 and farxiga 10 daily. In last 2 years only 2 times in every 2months test, my potassium was above 5.
If you reallly need finrenon then you should take and if your k goes up you can use some medicine to reduce your potassium level. but I m not sure why do you need finrenon.
