Hello my father is diagonised with ckd he is in stage 5 his creatine is 4.93 although everything else is stable sodium potassium serum bicarbonate and uric acid all are within range.Should we go for dialysis now ? Is there any change for improvement?
@@kidneyblogs Thank you sir for replying ..our nephrologist had asked my father two months back to get ready for fistula ..for last two months he is on some new ayurvedic medicines which has lowered his creatine from 5.0 to 4.93 and his uric acid has reduced dramatically from 7.9 to 4.3 although urea is still the same also as I said all other things are within range and apart from a little swelling in his legs and pain he is not showing much symptoms should he continue with this medication or get a fistula ready asap? Your thoughts would really help get clarity

Transplant made on 10 6 2024 but creatinine level ऑपरेटिंग to till now (05 Nov 2024) remain 2.4 to 2.7 biopsy was done on 06 July 2024 but doctor told acute tubular injury and will be cured self but till now creatinine doesn't decrease. What we should do. No BP no sugar all report mostly normal only calcium a few low. Please guide us. The age of my son is 26 only diet fully vegetarian

Or you can take a second opinion of another transplant team in India, nearby your home because treatment may need close follow up.

Sir if proteinuria resolves, egfr is 80+ and creatanine is 0.66 is this person considered a patient of kidney disease now? This 40yr female had proteinuria periodically for last 6 years. Now we r monitoring every 3 months. Is this enough care.?
Ji your proteinuria is in remission, but you should keep an eye on it every three months along with taking medicines regularly. As far as the label of kidney disease, I am not sure what does it matter?

Nahi sir it is not possible. But there are many tricks that lower your creatinine in Pakistan. You can try those.

We from India my son is kidney transplant patient . Transplant made on 10 6 2024 but creatinine level ऑपरेटिंग to till now (05 Nov 2024) remain 2.4 to 2.7 biopsy was done on 06 July 2024 but doctor told acute tubular injury and will be cured self but till now creatinine doesn't decrease. What we should do. No BP no sugar all report mostly normal only calcium a few low. Please guide us. The age of my son is 26 only diet fully vegetarian
Sir thanks for sharing your sons experience. I am sorry to hear about your sons tranplant issues. He might be going in a little bit of rejection. You will have to stick with your transplant team. Or you can take a second opinion of another transplant team in India, nearby your home because treatment may need close follow up.

Ji your proteinuria is in remission, but you should keep an eye on it every three months along with taking medicines regularly. As far as the label of kidney disease, I am not sure what does it matter?
