OMG this video saved me!! I spent hours trying to figure out was was wrong with my machine, the thread kept getting caught and the stitches weren’t sewing properly and I realized that I had been wrapping my thread around the silver “2” that is only intended for winding the bobbin. I threaded it from the back correctly, and now the machine works perfectly! Thank you so much!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I spent quite a long time looking for a video to help me set up this machine that I received for Christmas. Your videos are so straight forward, yet perfectly detailed. I’m ready to go!! 🎉
Thank you!!!!! I've been having issues with my first embroidery machine- I haven't tried it yet after watching your video but I already feel more knowledgeable!!!!😊
A shout out to A-Dubb! I was ready to quit on this machine, but I patiently watched this video and saw where I was making my errors. I made something without the thread bunching or the thread coming undone. I Was successful with this machine because of A-Dubb. Thank you.
I'm happy that you like your embroidery machine. Technology has made things simpler. I remember doing embroidery with my mum, but never mastered the art.
Thank you for this! Just received my new SE600 today and I was like how the hell does this thing thread itself?! And I didn't want to have to read the instructions lol...I have been watching your videos because you're very detailed with the machine. If I look up something pertaining to the machine, I definitely search for you first! Keep up the good work!
I love when you say small bobbin but bobbins are the small spools ha jk no seriously this is so genuine and it's actually helpful to those relearning or those who just need to remember little things and they see that you're like them or how you're like me I'm like , I know this goes here and that over there but idk the names hahaha it's is so real. and you still get the point across, love it. Your welcome. Glad i could help. It doesn’t show up first because those channels probably have more subscribers and more views than mine. So please subscribe and give the video a thumbs up. It helps a lot. Thank you. 🙏🏾 I appreciate you.
Your welcome. Actually I do. I was threading it wrong myself. That’s why I knew people would appreciate this video. Thank you for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. I appreciate you.
My Mom convinced me on getting into Digitizing...she has had the 800 for a minute..i just started practicing Digitizing..gotta learn it all.. Tryna figure out how to thread Machine.now
Media Skitz CONTENT CREATOR Dope. Well this video kinda shows you how to do it. I have the 800. Threading is the same concept just a few more loops and ups and downs. I have the 800 also. It’s smooth as heck.
Also wanted to say its really great how you give away all these good videos and tips on sewing to beginners like me for free, brothers needs to give you some money if there not because whew chile.
This video was very helpful! I first saw the unicorn embroidery video before this one and I absolutely loved this one as well very well explained and amazingly patient. I just ordered mine and will be getting it by August. I’m making face masks and this is the prefect machine for nice embroidery designs. Will definitely be replaying each video to get it as perfect as I can! Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
A-Dubb Productions Allan Wade thank you! This channel was instant love. I’m trying to figure out how to make files of my own work to embroidery. A bit confused. I’m a photographer and have only used Photoshop CC. Any tips will help!
Thanks I bought the SE625 last year along with a server finally took it out the box this month 👀 this helped because I swear I got the numbers mixed up for what function I was trying to perform thanks ✌🏽
thank you for the help. i am following along but when u threaded the loop u didn't show the button u pushed to thread the needle to get that loop so i was a little lost there but figured it out. this is a great tutorial otherwise. thanks again!
Hi your videos have been really helpful just got mine today. The only thing I ask is would you use a different color thread red perhaps, when demonstrating because it shows up better than white thread. Great 👍🏽 job thank you!!!
Sure I'll do one this weekend. I have one already but I'll make another one for you. Not sure what the title is but I use 65/9 needles with my machine. these right here. amzn.to/2MNk0Fz
? Winding a new bobbin while in an embroidery mode? You can’t, that’s why there are different modes. Different modes do different things. You can’t do what ever you want in any mode. The mode tells the machine what to do. Embroidery mode is for embroidering not filling the bobbin. Wind the bobbin mode when you push the bobbin in and pull the level to the side is for winding the bobbin and you can not embroider or sew while in that mode.
Sometimes it seems to get a little stuck. I don't have a fix but to be honest I just leave it alone then it randomly starts working again the next time. lol
Hey man love your videos I’m new to this and trying to get a good understand before I get into the business this may sound like a dumb question but is bobbin thread and the actual embroidery thread different? I mean when you wind the bobbin does it take the same thread as you use to embroider or is it totally different all around? Sorry for the dumb question but I’m below novice and you are very helpful
Thanx for that review.... I've decided to try sew plushies and purchase an embroidery machine.... I've looking for a week now and I don't know what to settle for💔 maybe I should start with that one...but knowing the hoops limit is 4x4 while I might want to make a big size plushies that'll need bigger faces😂 it's so hard to decide...but I might settle for this as a starter Thanx💓
the little flat metal piece above number 6 its supposed to be to the left and somehow mine is to the right and i cant get the thread thru. i tried to move it to the left but it wont move. idk what happened i had no issues the first few times i used the machine. i broke a needle today so im not sure if that has anything to do w it
Hi is there a difference between embroidery thread and just regular ordinary thread? Sorry I’m totally new to this my machine is coming in tmrw. I’ve only ever had a basic singer sewing machine and it recently broke so I’m upgrading!
Sorry im just seeing this. Embroidery thread is actually less dense. it's not as strong as sewing thread actually and costs more. smh. You can use your regular thread in your machine.
Hi Allan- great video and thanks for all your help. I have a question. Whenever I try to test out my machine and embroider on a basic cotton shirt with tear away stabilizer, my thread gets jammed. It seems to thread under the grills below the presser foot. How can I fix that? Thanks again
I really appreciate this video! I'm brand new to sewing/embroidery, so this is a very basic question, but... Do I understand correctly that to embroider I should install thread at the top part and the bottom part of the machine at the same time? That would explain why when I only install thread at the top part my machine only does a couple of stitches before it errors saying the bobbin thread is almost out, but is the machine really using thread from the top and bottom at the same time?
What do you need in terms of embroidering? Do you need a software/ or pay someone to digitize the design, thread and the machine? Or is there anything else I’m missing
You can but you don’t need to. It does that on its own when it starts to embroider. Also rather that spinning the wheel you can press the button on the front so it makes a full rotation down and back up to its resting point.
great video thanks!
No problem. Glad I could help. Don't forget to subscribe.
I love your enthusiasm! I am a 66+ year old grandma who has sewn since a child. Good to see a male doing his thing!
You’re the only person that explains everything so well! Thank you!
Your welcome. I explain it the way I would want it explained to me. Thanks for watching.

I'm not smart enough for the illustration so thank you so much.
Where can I buy the J presser foot for this machine?
learned alot from you thank you...I need that septa logo
👍Everything was very helpful thanks 💯
Did you make a video on how to wind the bobin up ?
Yes I did. Here it is. ruclips.net/video/4SxOW5eC-g8/видео.html
Hey what’s the difference between the lower small thread and the upper bigger thread?
Thank you so much your video explains my questions!!
Do you have a video of you embroidering and how to change colors if your design has more then one?
Mine threader worked 2 times and I dont know whats wrong with it now, but I love my brother sewing machine.
Sometimes it seems to get a little stuck. I don't have a fix but to be honest I just leave it alone then it randomly starts working again the next time. lol

🙏🏾 thank you.
Is the bobbin thread different than regular embroidery thread? (Do I need to buy specific thread?)
No the thread is the same. That’s why I use regular thread to wind the bobbin. It’s just regular embroidery thread.
the little flat metal piece above number 6 its supposed to be to the left and somehow mine is to the right and i cant get the thread thru. i tried to move it to the left but it wont move. idk what happened i had no issues the first few times i used the machine. i broke a needle today so im not sure if that has anything to do w it
Super helpful. Thank you so much for the video :)
Dude I thought my machine was broken rofl 🤣 thank for this video so helpful!!
Thank you so much for this. It really helped me out 👍🏾.
Great video just curious if anybody else seen the button he pushed the lever

Ordering this next week big help
Hi Allan- great video and thanks for all your help. I have a question. Whenever I try to test out my machine and embroider on a basic cotton shirt with tear away stabilizer, my thread gets jammed. It seems to thread under the grills below the presser foot. How can I fix that? Thanks again
So helpful! Thanks!
I really appreciate this video! I'm brand new to sewing/embroidery, so this is a very basic question, but... That would explain why when I only install thread at the top part my machine only does a couple of stitches before it errors saying the bobbin thread is almost out, but is the machine really using thread from the top and bottom at the same time?
Do you use white thread on the bobbin on just about all your projects?
Can you use the pre-threaded bobbin that came with the machine for embroidery, or do I need to wind a bobbin with embroidery thread?
Dude! Great video! Thank you 🙏🏻
You’re welcome.
Super helpful thank you
Thank you for this video!!
You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
That help a little bit so I liked. Mack shout to subscribe!
What do you need in terms of embroidering? Do you need a software/ or pay someone to digitize the design, thread and the machine? Or is there anything else I’m missing
Do you have a video showing how to lock a thread on this model?
Wait do I have to have to have the bobbin or can I just use the thread?
can you use any thread with the brother embroidery machine?
So if your using let's say red thread, you would have to have red thread in the top and bottom of the machine?
so very thankful for this video. I had my machine threaded wrong. the diagram is a bit misleading.
No problem. Glad to help. Thanks for watching.
What type of embroidery thread would you recommend for the Se600?
Do I need to spin the dial on the right side to have the needle grab the lower bobbin thread?
You can but you don’t need to. It does that on its own when it starts to embroider. Also rather that spinning the wheel you can press the button on the front so it makes a full rotation down and back up to its resting point.
thanks brother no pun intenteded
Thanks for showing this! This is exactly what I needed!
