Very helpful video! Thank you! I was on the Brother website and it quotes that this particular machine is calibrated to use 40-50 thread weight on top and 90 weight bobbin thread.
Great video! Try using a tripod stand in your future videos so you won't have difficulty video recording. One-handed training courses can be hard :). Thanks for sharing. @@Kinarp You're very welcome and I finally purchased my machine approx two weeks ago. Your instructions ROCK! Thank you for your help so much. Keep up the great work!
I just got this machine. I have it threaded, but haven't actually tried it yet. The advice about setting it at number 2 is very helpful, I will try that, first. My question is, can you embroider the edge of fabric, say, the edge of a shirt, fancy buttonholes (I downloaded the design and put it on a thumb drive)? In other words, the fabric will not be fully held by the hoop, because you are embroidering close enough to the edge. Hope that makes sense!:-) TIA for any advice on this.
Thank you very much for this. I really appreciate it. I have a jpeg of a company logo I need to make a patch for. What file type do I need to load into the machine and do you know if I can just load a jpeg. Thanks for any help you can give my I'm just 13 but I have a business where I have a lot of sponsors to thank. Though Patches would be a good way to do it.
I honestly don’t know and still researching about it myself. I know you can hook up your usb from your computer to your machine. But, I’m still figuring out what kind of software would work for our machine. I have been a little busy and occupied with other things to figure it out. I know if I do ever find out I’ll surely make a video explaining and showing everyone how to use it. I know that’s not the answer you want. So I do apologize.
Ummm I really can’t tell you. But I got my PE 535 for $300ish. And the bf bought it for me, for valentine’s Day. So I can’t give you the exact price, I’m sorry.
J Coleman Thank you! I’m quite not sure, maybe you can if you find a program for it on the computer. And make it as two or three embroider design depending on how many you want. In one design. I haven’t mess with this machine for awhile. And I don’t know any program for this machine either. I’m so sorry.
how can you get the mouth part #6 to open back up again? I manually removed my thread to change the color and I can't figure out how to get #6 to open back up its closed I can't get in there and loop the thread
Did you make sure you hear like a click when you place the thread in #6? Once you hear that sound. It should hold in place and try to press that #7 to loop and thread your needle. Hopefully that helps.
Look to see if they have multi colors on the patterns you’re embroidering. The machine should stop when it’s time to change color. You change your upper thread. Usually they don’t really need to change the bottom because it’s.. I believe a white thread and it’s thin in the stitch. But I haven’t done it myself yet on this machine. I hope that helps a little. And sorry that I can’t be more of a help. I’ve been keeping myself busy these days.
Roschelle Tillman did you turn the round wheel, like how I did? To pull the bottom threads up to the top? It’s how you would to a regular sewing machine.
Velma Lewis Some embroidery sewing machines are "embroidery-only" machines. These sewing machines are solely devoted to doing machine embroidery. They do not do the work of a regular sewing machine. ... They usually have a removable embroidery unit, so the machine will meet any sewing need.
Hmm… it should go away after you put the foot down to sew. Did you do everything before you begin to sew. Like thread both bobbin? Also did you press the button where the red light is, that button?
What’s The Hype are you rewinding the thread for your bottom thread? If so did you push the thread on top to the right, before you start rethreading your bobbin? That’s when the light turns orange if your retreading your bobbin.
I use cut away stabilizer and yes you’ll need that when you are embroidering. The cut away will support the stitches not only during the embroidery process itself, but during the lifetime of the garment as well.
Hmmm.. try going on the settings menu on your screen. If there’s a scissor icon? Press ok then there should be a on or off opinion to set the automatic thread cutter. See if that works.
ashley otto did you make sure your is foot up? Press that needle button. Where the light is at. Next to the scissor button. Then push your bobbin back to thread it. The light such turn orange now. Let me know if that works?.
