1:41:44 In your case you need all the men you can get. You only lose mere 0.3 gold or about 100-something levies. You already get 1% back by being the steward of your liege anyway. It's always best to keep levies low in contracts so that you can do more even while under servitude. Especially when you plan to keep waging wars inside your lieges territory. I myself tend to push high taxes for low levies myself as a ruler for my vassals as long as the realm is stable. In the end, those levies will be lost anyway once the vassal revolts. On the other hand, powerful vassals tend to become bigger and give more money that can be invested into mercs. Yet as a subject, it's better to keep levies low as well. EDIT: On another note high taxes tend to hinder AI subjects to build crap in their building spots that I can use to gain their favor by building more passive taxes for myself. If you micromanage everything in your realm then you will end up being a force to be reckoned with. Not that I need to tell you that since you sent your dynasty members to their deaths in battles and won't get far in that regard anyway xD
I really want you to take a piece of land beyond the wall & give it to your bastard half-brother after you become a high lord. I also want you to take some land in pentos & give it to Asher. I think this would not only match a 'historical' playthrough but also make it really difficult to completely wipe out house Forrester, just like in the telltale game (they really tried though lol). Unfortunately I know this comment is way too late to change anything 😅
One thing that confuses me about your Roleplay game play style. You win a war with a "good guy" character. Then you don't go into your prisons and give people the chance to join you. I don't RP the game and do that all the time. Also marry off court members. So I can increase the amount of people with genetic traits in the world and have the strongest knights.
Hey M8, have you ever thought about Audible? All the books are on there, and the people who read them are top-notch. Might be easier to listen to while editing, or shopping, or whatever. I listened to all of them 3 times over at work lol

The Boltons 😱😱😱Roose be a vampire
Next time diversify your men at arms. Having more archers did help, but notnas much as you thought because they were still countered
51:43 what in the 6th month? Is winter
Gotta slow down during battle and having maxed men at arms is mosr important numbers less so
My vote for next campaign is White Harbor it just looks like it could be cool and if im remembering the show they did get shafted pretty hard

That's actually a really good idea, I will check Audible out later today for sure. I used to love reading so much as a kid, idk what changed haha
Rodrik isn't the man his father was
Ok...Sanza was "brittany", and Jon Snow was Jeayn Snow my "daughter"...sigh
Is this guy for real? Your holding limit goes down because you change your wife’s support from stewardship to chivalry.
Pretty sure this guy is just a fragment of your imagination
