Yeah Robert gave Stannis Dragonstone to remind how he didn’t capture Viserys III like he was supposed when he took Dragonstone. However in this play through Viserys III was captured so I think he Robert would’ve given Stannis Storms End instead. So you didn’t break character honestly
If you think about it logically, there are actually a ton of good reasons for giving Stannis Dragonstone instead of Storms End. For example, Stormlands vassals will probably be loyal to anyone of the Baratheon dynasty, thanks to their centuries of loyal service, even if that Baratheon is a flamboyantly gay small child. Meanwhile, the Dragonstone holdings containing House Targaryen's oldest and most loyal vassals, like the Velaryons and Celtigars, who could use the strong hand of the Mannis to prevent a Targaryen restoration attempt.
YES! Stannis getting the Stormlands is what hould have happened in canon! In the books, he defended it for a year, while Mace Tyrell sieged it. The Mannis had to watch Mace literally have feasts before the castle, while he starved. Thanks to Davos and his onion smuggling though, he persevered. So yeah, Stannis was quite understandably pissed when Robert gave Storm’s End to Renly instead and Stannis had to accept Dragonstone.

Dragonstone is the seat of the Heir to the Iron Throne, which Stannis was. I think Robert just fucked up in communicating that to him and Stannis saw it as a sleight, when really it was an honour

Finally! A new series to get me back into CK3 and perfect choice because of all the Game of Thrones news we've been getting recently :D Robert's Rebellion is one part of GoT history I wish to see on TV!
Glory to Robert! Those independents in the Vale are mountain clans men, they've never been under the iron throne Are there any targerians left, if so, what shall you do with them? I'm very excited for this series, well done on winning the war
That was fun! Looking forward to this series. Make sure you set up guardians for the hostages you took so that the new rulers of Dorne and the Reach will be loyal to you. You could even set up Arianne and Renly since it looks like Stannis is about to have a child, or Renly and Margaery like in the books to ensure loyalty. The event for Lyanna is probably going to fire at the top of the next episode. Are you going to ally with the Lannisters or go off canon?
This looks relatively promising but, as someone who is painstakingly making sure all the random baronies in CK2 AGOT have their own coat of arms and have marriage alliances before I even start the game, I think I’ll get onto CK3 in a bit.
@@thesaurus9226 the reason is pure roleplay; I spend diligent hours figuring out what would make the most sense for each house relationship wise, who would likely be unmarried, who would consent to matrilineal marriage etc. It takes up far too much of my time but because it is just for me and me alone, I find it intensely satisfying.
It was fun to watch I’m interested to watch your decisions it would be cool if you could do something like choose s vassal to strengthen like Eddard or have some kind of goal to have every kingdom your dynasty or something im not sure
Well, I'm actually blown away by the fact, that he knows most of the "Robert Baratheon Mechanics", but doesn't know about the filter (to find out who's best at diplomacy, martial, usw.). 😅😂❤

@@mysteryjunkie9808 And as we all know Cersei never misunderstands anything

Yes! Game of Thrones in CK3. So excited for all the series that will come.

You are still playing ck2?? Just move on and start modding ck3
@@Gecko.... no
May I ask why you're setting up so many marriage alliances ahead of time? Is it a roleplay/immersion thing or to increase challenge?

Can't wait to see what they manage to do with the upcoming patch changes.
Looking forward to more of this playthrough :)
So excited! I was hoping you would upload this today! It's a rainy day and I've got tea and snacks to enjoy this during my lunchbreak. Can't wait!
Omg, I was looking forward to this!

Omg I miss game of thrones video I love this video. I am excited to see part 2 and future kids and many other things and baby Jon Snow.
Been looking forward to this series, but did anyone ever mention that Robert in-game looks like Farquad from Shrek?
The thing with Stannis at the end of the war is a bug, happened to me as well.
I really like your Thumbnail
Oh hot damn! I'm loving the Shin Megami Tensei stuff, but THIS is Christmas morning, here
Marry Renly to Arianna Martell. They are close to the same age and it helps make a alliance wit Dorne insuring their support.
Arianne*, she's not the singer🤣
How does that work? Dorne is already on the Targaryen's side at the start.
Need to bring Dany and Jon to King's Landing. Marry them to kiddos for ensuring the Targaryen are unable to rise up again.
This takes place before they were born
i was one of those you mention only playing game of thrones CK2
What was in your inventory?
they should use the magic system of elder kings 2
And we're off
Why did you put someone with 8 diplomacy as your chancellor 🤔
The norse can choose patrons but its not as in depth as in the mod
how to install this mod ?
Steam workshop. They have a nexus link but it was broken last time I looked.
U should preserve any remaining Targaryen and make them loyalists
