i have 200 relations with muslim countries but they do not want to be vassalised. i get minus via distance between borders. how did they accept on you?
you first need to vassalize someone that will accept even with the "distance from borders" malus, once you have the first vassal their borders count as your borders and you can get all of your new vassal's neighbors, and so on, and so on
its like a chain reaction. Once you get dulkadir as a vassal you can get anizah. After anizah shammar wants to become vassal and so on. You need to vassalize whoever close to you first, and since your vassals border far away guys the distance between modifier disappears.
