We have 2 languages here (three if you count Sami and four if you count Karelian) it is mandatory to learn Swedish even if you are in area were you only hear someone speaking Swedish in school. Pain in the behind to learn when you are tad unmotivated to learn so that fuels the hatred. We also call Swedish speaking Finns "bättre folk" which is Swedish for better people. Honestly, this is just kind of normal for Babylon in Civ VI, even without the 1-turn tech tree exploit. The only downside is that the barbarian tech tends to stay up with the fastest player. Which is kind of amusing when I'm watching barbarian Modern ATs attacking my enemies who are still in the Medieval Era. As a side note, I have definitely discovered Nuclear Fusion from a tribal village when playing with Babylon.

Then when the Western Roman Empire was collapsing the visigoths invaded and populated Spain forming the Visigothic kingdom. The visigoths are a north germanic people originating mainly from Sweden.

Since a turn did not pass it takes no time for her to establish, so you gain suzerainity. Then repeat
