This guy playing drums could sell anything he beats on. He can make anything sound good. If it weren’t for this guy I don’t think drumtec would even exist. Just a phenomenal drummer.

I still rock the TD 15 module. It sounds decent and I can play every day. Plus it's not super difficult to navigate. I like see updates for that Roland line. An oldie but goodie.

I’ve had the TD 11 since 2017 and I’ve always wondered how much better the 15 is. I know it’s pretty much the same module with just more editing and I believe there is a solid difference.
Finally...some Roland kick sounds with some attack...nice. I was thinking of selling my 15...might keep it now and give this pack a try.

Some of those floor toms could come up a bit, they won't cut through the mix. The lower they are the less volume they have.

Back to the roots
Yeah the Roland TD-15 has some years on its back, but there are still so many in use & it really plays great despite its age. drum-tec cares for the aged sound modules too ;-D kind regards!

TD17 better than TD15 better than TD11 better than TD9
Or a newer module doesn't right away mean better sounds?
Hey Edgar, yes I would agree on this & think that the development of the TD-17 & its sounds has been a milestone compared to the older "small" modules.
Although TD-17 was released as the successor of the TD-11 (which replaced the TD-9), it can rather be considered the successor of the TD-15 (which actually was the Roland "mid level" module at its time). So Roland has actually "raised the bar" in my opinion, making the TD-17 the best bang-for-the-buck "small" Roland sound module until now :) kind regards!

Can the kit pieces on these selections be switched out? So for example, I like the snare in one kit and a kick on another I can edit to have both on same kit?

I bought alesis crimson 2se but this module it's older and sounds 100% better than Alesis :/

What cameras do you use? Just curious. There’s so many on the market.
Hi, I use several Canon EOS & EOS-M cameras with various third party lenses :) Main reason was I started with a Canon & wanted to stick with the Canon lens standard & colour profiles for my multi camera setups. Kind regards!

I am not sure if there will be more sound editions, as the TD-9 is an older model & its onboard sounds/editing possibilities are limited compared to more recent models. I guess there isn't much more we could do with it furthermore, but we'll see - never say never ;-) kind regards!

Well. I had both drum modules TD15 and TD11 and I would say TD11 has more natural sounds.
