    The snare sounds much better than the TD50 IMO obv the plastic machine gun toms are the worst of this module but for an older module now.. hey the kick and snare are great

      In my opinion Roland still has that electronic kit sound unlike the Alesis Strike if you dial it in like one of your kits you made lol thanks again!

    Guess you like the "Slingerland" name more. TD-30 still kicks the butt of TD-50 imo.

    I think I like this expansion pack even better than the metal one. So many good sounds! You're an amazing drummer, you should start posting full songs with some of these kits, I bet you'd get lots of views on the vids!

    Hi I just bought your live sound edition pack I have had my module for two years and I know it pretty well ..I was pleasantly surprised especially with the snares, I have managed to squeeze 3 really good sounding snares out the TD 30 but never seemed to get any more (there are some great samples for recording funky stuff but live pretty limited ) You guys have pulled so many good snares and useful snares out of the TD 30 that is worth the money alone "at least for me "...some really good bass drums a few I will swap on my existing kits ..and the toms are great toms in the TD 30 can be a little overwhelming ..nice to have them all matched ..to different kits ...do they sound like the kit names who the hell knows but I can tell you guys have put a lot into it ..Now the down side the Top 40 kits come on guys very poor not sure why I payed the extra ..I can program 100 times better than that myself ....I would recommend the Live kits though................. PS love your videos he could make tin cans sound good

      Thank you for your positive feedback, that´s great to hear! Sorry to hear you are not too fond with the Top40 edition though, I also prefer the Live Sound Edition by far :) Kind regards!

    Great playing. I always enjoy your style of drumming. Your drums always look great.
    I still hear that staccato, digital high end frequency Roland is known for on all their modules. Especially on the hi hat and cymbals but I hear it on all the sounds and certain tom samples. I still think Roland lack warmth, depth and presence on their sounds, you can hear it on the floor toms and bass especially when playing certain songs that require presence.

      SiREN-DRUMS hey Josh. I’ll have to reach out later but I had to step away from everything for now. I deleted my Facebook account but I told Drew some of why I was leaving. I needed to get away for awhile and focus on me. But I’ll have to reach out later once I feel I’m back to where I wanted to be.

      Thank you Robert! I agree on Roland modules having that "artificial" flavour in sound, but the triggering & playability are top notch & unsurpassed in my opinion :) Kind regards!

    I would trade my td25 and td11 for a td30 module. Even though I’ve never played a td30 module. Played a td50 at guitar center for an entire month and still can’t fall in love with it. Same with the alesis strike which I use to own for a micro sec.

    Die Snare-Sounds (z. B. 19, 32) gefallen mir teilweise richtig gut! Etwas enttäuschend finde ich bis heute die Ride-Cymbals, die sich seit dem TD-10 zumindest klanglich kaum weiterentwickelt haben...

  • @llih0074
    @llih0074 4 года назад

    我刚刚购买了。非常好的音色!甚至比一些几百GB的软件音色库都要好得多!简直把你的TD-30提升一个等级!让你的TD-30比TD-50强多了。Roland应该聘请Drum-tec作为音色库的顾问。

    Can i make you a suggestion?? A couple of kits that have a different sound at snare. as example Ludwig Breakbeats with Brady stave snare or Sonor Designer kit with Ludwig Supraphonic 14X6,5 Snare. It will be interesting cause the most drummers worldwide uses different snare and not the same with the kit. And is i think difficult to catch in electronics this difference between characters of some snares.As example here the TAMA sound it's not have any relation of the original sound but only some characteristics of it.

    Maybe it's just me but I find the orange logo distracting, at least on black shells. I don't mind it on my pro snare since it's kind of hidden behind the toms, but someone looking at the kit from the other side would see the orange on the toms. Something silvery like the ATV shells would be perfect I think.

    Thanks for all the sample kits! Question: I’m really looking for a great snare sound. once I download the samples, can I edit the kit or edit the instrument? Can I use one of those sample snares with some of the kits I created?

    • @drumtecTV
      @drumtecTV  2 года назад

      Hi Victor, these are not external audio samples but custom made / mixed kit presets that are loaded on the TD-30 module. You can then edit / copy & paste all the kits to your individual preference. (The TD-30 is not able to load any external audio samples). Please feel free to get in touch through service@drum-tec.de for further assistance, kind regards!

    Is this exactly what you'd get if you bought the newest TD-30k (minus the custom aesthetics)?

    • @drumtecTV
      @drumtecTV  4 года назад

      Don´t know exactly what you mean by custom aesthetics? :-D The drum-tec pro/diabolo series electronic drums shown in this video are 100% Roland compatible & offer a much more authentic playing feel than Roland PDX-100 / KD-120 pads of the TD-30k kit (plus having bigger diameters). In addition to this, there are some ATV e-cymbals in the video setup as well (splash & china). The TD-30k has been discontinued some time ago & was replaced by the TD-50. But still, there are thousands of TD-30 modules around out there.
      For more info on the different brands & products please visit www-drum-tec.com
      Kind regards!

    I‘m new to e drumming. So a real stupid question I guess:
    Are these the sounds of the actual kids? Let‘s say the Sonor AQ2 sounds like this?

    • @drumtecTV

      Hey Lasse, not a stupid question at all :) the Roland TD-30 module is not able to load external audio samples, so all included kits are mixed/modelled using the module's onboard sound engine. Kind regards!

      Hey Laurent, I disagree :) was using a TD-12 for years in my studio & it was a BIG change with the release of the TD-30 module I remeber clearly. The older TD-12/Td-20 generation sounded much more synthetic & less dynamic in general, also the dynamic range & subtle playing nuances on snare/cymbals etc was improved tremendously with the TD-30. Have you had the chance to play a TD-30 based kit yet? :)

    • @drumtecTV
      @drumtecTV  5 лет назад +3

      Hi, well it still is a Roland TD-30 sound module and not a Superior Drummer 3 library ;) All kits are based on the TD-30s onboard samples/sounds, the drum-tec Sound Editions just try to optimise what is already there as far as possible, to get the "most" out of the Roland sound modules. Copying a Slingerland kit 100% with a Roland sound chip is obviously not possible. Kind regards!
