    Great tutorial! I really like the way the window came out and also love the little white grout lines in the tile. Things I would love to incorporate into my first diorama I'm currently working on. How did you get the grout that way?! White wash after the black wash?

      +ThePieSoapProject Thank you. I applied a white spackling material over the area and wipe off the excess.

    Great tutorial!! I also like the electrical box with the lever on the side! Q: when you painted the plastic window... Did you paint both sides or only the inside part? And how did you make the area around the individual grid look rusted?

      Thanks for watching my vids hondasan72. I only painted the front side of the plastic window and I painted the grid with a dark brown acrylic by dry brushing.

    yo what are your dimensions on these bricks? I know in your other video you said 1 inch by .5 inches but those looked a lot bigger like bricks in a basement or hospital. these look more like the bricks on a building or exterior of a house. Maybe the angle of the camera is different I don't know. Really great job by the way man!! Subscribed!!

      @MechbayStudios  8 лет назад +1

      Thanks for the sub +deadironpoolman appreciate it very much. As for the size of the bricks, I normally use the dimension 1" x .5" and you are correct that they are a little bigger than the nominal size bricks that you usually see in the real world. But they do work for for 1:12 scale type environment. If you really want to be more precise, I'd say the dimension will be .75" x .3" but its a little bit more time consuming to layout.

      Gabriela LV just be careful when you use it. Make sure that you do not spray too close to the foam. Spray no closer than 18” distance.

    great windows, but just stick to using words or phrases you know, certain portions of your videos take way too long, just saying for other viewers. Instructions just need to be quick and simple...

    Jeepers dude, you talk way too much. Just get to the point. 18 minutes? It could have been just as informative in ONE minute. Urgh.
