When they snapped the pasta in half... I felt a great disturbance in The Force. As if thousands of voices cried out in agony... It felt like it was coming from Italy.
This looks like what you and your buddies cook at 1:30 am after coming home from the bar and whatever is left in the fridge gets tossed together cuz everyone has the munchies. "There's like 8 lbs of burger in here that expires tomorrow, let's make giant burgers...and spaghetti. Tim, bring those Cheetos over here, I got an idea."
I moved to NYC in 1980. On East 88th Street between 2nd and 1st Ave. A Jackson Hole was on 2nd and 84th. i would sit at the counter and get a Balduni Burger. Medium rare, cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms. Fries. A bowl of pickles and a Heinekens. Oh boy. The best. I had a million of them. They moved down the street a couple of years later to open a larger, cooler location. Took many people there. They all loved it. Would love to have one right now. The video does not do them justice but nice to see.

I need to give a BIG 👍to whomever puts these videos together. I've gain many ideas from these episodes on what to make for dinner. I live in the West Coast, California, where the same recipes for a simple taco, sandwich, hotdog, roast, hamburger, etc; are the same. I'm a foodie, and I love to cook and get ideas. When I go to a restaurant, I look at their menu at what makes this restaurant stand out, meaning what their signature dish; all the same. I look at this channel as recipes for a simple dish. East Coast stands out, a simple Mac and cheese, pizza to die for. I haven't been up East for yrs. Boston and New Yok were the areas in a simple little café or a mom and pop's whole in the wall. Thank you 💋 for GREAT ideas to a delicious meal 🥰🍽🍺
First experienced this place back in the 90's. The bowl of pickles on every table was a crowd pleaser. Nice to see they are still around serving up those huge delicious burgers..
Another example why Americans are so fat! And have high blood pressure and diabetes! Let's not forget about the heart attacks! But that looks so good to eat! Lol 🤣🤣
I don't enjoy putting everything edible in the burger to make it look big and appetising, it's good as it is. Same goes for pizza, keep it simple, keep it delicious.
Agree a 100% like Bourdain said a Burger needs to be designed to grab everything in one bite. Patty, Lettece, Tomato, Onions and the chesse. Same gorda for the pizza, plain mozzarellla sílice is the way to go
They still have 4 locations, this one which I went to once but won’t again, it’s pub like with limited seating in the middle of Manhattan. There’s another location in Manhattan Jersey and Astoria, Queens which I go to. It’s in a old school diner service is on point. If you can go visit and enjoy!!!

I had a burger like this with fries at The Jackson Hole in Astoria, Queens the other day. When I saw the size of the thing, I was like there is no way I'm gonna finish this monstrosity. A few minutes later, my plate was clean. Amazingly delicious burger and fries.
I go way back with Jackson Hole. Used to eat at the one on 86th and Columbus Ave. There's another one on 60-something street on the east side that I also frequented. I discovered this one on 35th by doing a google search. I had not had a JH burger in about 20 years and got the hankering for one. The minute I tasted it I knew I was at JH. JH burgers have remained consistently good and they have that familiar JH taste. I stop by this place every now and then after my visit at the VA Hospital on 23rd and First Ave. JH burgers are my favorite. There may be better by I love my JH burgers.
I love how so many people are saying they're butt-hurt by the breaking of the pasta but not even mentioning the fact that it's dehydrated store bought pasta....HILARIOUS!

I'm watching this a day after having a belly button hernia manually reduced in the ER at the same time with inflamed bowels obviously not wanting to eat thinking I'd eat any of this guys stuff (just not right now) His presentation skills are off the chart .

I usually go to the one in Astoria. I think they need to season their burgers a bit better. BUT they aren't densely packed. They crumble when you bite into them, which to me, is good.
You’ve got to be kidding, they throw everything on the burger that isn’t up a tree at the count of 3. More like hang-over cooking or raiding the fridge.
I love how so many people are saying they're butt-hurt by the breaking of the pasta but not even mentioning the fact that it's dehydrated store bought pasta....HILARIOUS!
