Any ideas on the lack of recent respone? Water? Population? Seasonal? Again, I'm SE FL boy (Broward County) and could tell you if it's a normal cyclical thing. I'm just curious if this is normal or are you a little concerned.
After that full moon two weeks ago, been rough trying to get bites up here in JAX. Before, used to be catching multiple reds INSHORE FISHING around marinas
lol i would have thrown my line into those mangroves twenty times....your casting accuracy is great lol....also that guy with the four spots and two spots was really cool. I love redfish
You give me hope . you make it look so easy I just go out and feed the fish apparently sometimes a catfish Graces me with his presence. Thanks for the tips though and going to try them for sure
Bite has been crazy for me, I was out yesterday and caught over 20 reds in less than 3 hours. Majority 23-26 inches! Also caught 1 snook and one 24 inch black drum.
I love my Penn Clash 3000 on a Bull Bay Stealth Sniper 7' 6" Medium rod. It's light enough where you can throw lures all day, but strong enough to pull overslot reds out from under mangroves
The dock lights around me (central Pinellas county) have been on fire the last few weeks. You should deff get out. We’re catching redfish and trout almost at will. The snook are a little more difficult to find but when I do find them they’ll usually eat.
havent been fishing in like a week.. i dont catch anything but the adventure and just being by the water really makes it fun. when i say i dont catch anything.. i mean it, i havent caught anything worth catching for several months.
Great to see a video man. You should take a go pro and snorkel those mangroves if we get some clear days this fall or spring. I’d love to see what draws the fish to that spot.
Dude, you have mad-casting-skills! Either the power of video editing cuts out "catching the mangroves", like I often do, or you should be enrolling in any sort of global casting competition that exists. See ya dude!
How much should I pay for a good casting net? I bought one once for $45 and it tangled up right away to the point of no return so I just threw it away.
Depending on what size you want, I’d say between $100-$200 for a quality net. Besides patching some small holes that were my fault, I’m still using the same black pearl cast net that I got 5 years ago
What is your favorite place to fish for snook in the Tampa Bay Area? I’ve been to caladisi and some other places and haven’t actually gotten a good fish
Finally miss the vids bro
For real
another quality vid. I used some of your techniques to catch a slam a couple weeks ago, keep up the good work.
Glad you're back .. miss the vidz.👍

Near me the water is super green which is definitely causing a problem in my area

Big live sand perches work well
I catch snook on cut mullet all the time, it’s surprisingly effective. They’re not as picky as most people think.

Caladesi and Honeymoon Island are great places to fish, especially the surrounding spoil islands
