Fishing with Pinfish to Catch Big Redfish & Snook (New PB Inshore Slam)
HTML-код

- In this video, I set out with the goal to go inshore fishing just north of Tampa Bay, Florida using pinfish as bait. I started the morning by showing you how I use dry chum and a cast net to catch pinfish. I then used those pinfish as live bait to catch snook along a beach. Next, I used the pinfish as cut bait to catch redfish at high tide along mangrove shorelines. Only needing a speckled trout to complete my inshore slam, I targeted them with a live pinfish under a bobber. However, I kept catching more redfish and snook instead. I then switched over to a D.O.A. C.A.L. and ended up catching a trout to complete the slam, plus a surprise bonus cobia.

You're a great fishing you tuber because you actually show what you're catching the fish with unlike the other you tubers where they just show to fish being caught and being a sellout to their sponsors. Keep up the good work!
This is the most underrated fisherman on YT
Absolutely! It’s honestly the only channel I have on alert that doesn’t annoy me. I’m like sweet new video!
Funny I taught if was me but j don't make videos so it has to be him🤣😂😭
Fax
No evenBfishing
Tlaking about underrated then also look at- Reel journey
To the Thumb down guy " Don't hate get out and Navigate" You nailed it Brent!!!
How can anyone thumb down this video and this dude? its a perfect video and he's a stand-up guy smh... GREAT JOB on the video @Seeyadude 👏👏👏
I went out today, it was the best day I’ve ever had, something about this week, must be the storms. Well good fishin bud and keep on fishin!!!
Outstanding day of Tampa Bay fishing! My PB inshore slam was in the same general area ten years ago Christmas week - 77 inches - I thought I was the king! I moved to Minnesota after that and have only been back to fish once in the ten years since. For the life of me I just cannot get into fishing in lakes and ice fishing just doesn't make sense! I totally respect your style and your respect for the resources. The snook in the live well was the best - the dolphins don't seem to need any additional help. Great stuff, dude. Hope to see you out there some time in the future.
Helluva day...Fish, dolphins, hawks...
Like a National Geographic Series...
You are fun to watch Keep it up.
Good video. Gotta love Pinfish.
man im glad i came across this channel....what a fun vid
Always Reds in that hole 🕳 👍. The channel is doing great. Keep it up.
Man I’ve been watching or listening to all your videos past few weeks at work and I’m so ready to get on the water
Great videos, I fish these areas all of the time. Love it!
Thank you for the detailed video showing the baits and techniques. I'm in a slump right now here at Bay Port and going to head out to the islands in the morning. I feel pretty confident tomorrow will be a good day, Thanks again.
Great day for fishing, got to get out there pretty soon, have a great weekend Brent 🐟👍
I subscribed just on how respect you are to nature.
Hell of a video!! great job man. You gained a subscriber bud!!
LOVE THIS VIDEO ! LOVE THE SUNNY WEATHERS AND I LOVE HOW YOU SAVE THOSE FISHES FROM DOLPHINS ! YOU ARE AMAZING ! SEE YA DUDE ! ❤❤❤🥰🥰🤗🤗
What a trip. Great slam! Congrats
Lol I loved the Dolphin part. Good on your for saving him!
Great catches Bro Montana. Summer is heating the bite up. Today was stellar on redfish just north of you. Keep it up!
I stopped losing fish on live bait when I started hooking the bait through the hard part of the nose with the point facing forward, with a circle hook. Your leader material becomes less critical when you can consistently hook toothy fish in the corner of the mouth. Like your content!
I found that nearly 100% you catch on a pin fish the larger fish will hit it head on. You can miss a lot of fish hooking through the mouth rather than below the dorsal fin.
Pinfish are good for Grouper of all kinds as well!!!
Told you about a month ago when you were at 10k to keep up the grind and now you at 14k+ my dawg!
Jealous my friend.... you’ve got your youth, a sweeet boat, saltwater fishing! Recently found your channel keep up the good work! Your go pro is taking quality video. Thanks for sharing👍
ive been watching for past 2 days just subbed keep up the good content
What a great day of fishing and also a great video. Keep up the good work sir
I’m from Wisconsin and don’t even fish saltwater but your vids are awesome!
2 minutes in and I’m already
subbed. Keep up the good work!
Congrats on upgrading the slam!
Loved it ! Thank you very much for sharing. Man, that was nice bro.
Well done my brother 😎 this is what I called real fishing and catching 😁🎣🐟 subbed as well
Outstanding video, thank you!
Great video man I’m definitely subscribing. Thanks for helping me pass the time in the deer blind lol.
Nice Guy and excellent fisherman
Awesome day👍🏼Awesome video
Awesome, you killed it.
Great video Brent.
Surprisingly enough, Dolphin are too smart to eat a hooked fish. At least I have never seen or heard of it happening. I have literally danced trout snook reds while hooked in front of a dolphin and watched them just play around the fish. By holding the fish on the boat, this is the best way to go about this. Great job in protecting the habitat. The same often happens with sharks after release.
Got to go fishing today at Holden Beach Campground and had a great time! 😁
Great video keep up the great work and God bless you
Awesome catches! Loving the content, keep it up 🤜🏼
Hell yeah I love Bull Bay rods!
Awesome content bro just subscribed! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. I need to try that chum trick of yours
Excellent! Subscribed.
Man awesome video. Me and my sons are just starting to get into saltwater fishing. We been watching your videos and they asked me why you make it look so easy😂😂😂. We been out to Tampa Bay and have struck out 3 times in a row.
Trust me, it's usually not that easy 😂. Live shrimp or pinfish under a bobber will usually catch some fish, especially if you can find an area around mangroves/oyster bars that's holding mullet. Hope you guys can get on some fish next time you go out!
I enjoy your videos.
Nice boat dude!
Sick video. You definitely know how to fish florida boy style👊
Mullets scarse , plan B- the reliable pins. Feed em what their eating. Nice catches & hasta luego lol see ya !!
Wish I could go too! Such a good day!
Awesome video bro
man, you make it look easy!
Hey Dude! Just watched this video and it’s the first time I’ve seen your channel, I immediately recognized where you caught that fish! I know exactly where your at, would love to come fish with you sometime and maybe you can show me what I’m doing wrong lol, I’ve never been able to pull anything from that area. Very impressed🇺🇸👍🏼
Great fishing, nice video
Really Awesome content Sir!!!
Your awesome for protecting the fish from the dolphins.
Great job bro 👍🏾
Nice fishing buddy 👍💪👍....
Great content, thanks for making it
Congrats!
Pin fish is everywhere in NC.
noice cast netting
Good one. I'd like to see you fish the North Point @ Honeymoon. Great snook spot. Pull boat up and wade it, that would be fun to see
U the best 🐬 keep it up
Nice man. The grouper fishing out here has been FIRE!! Still can't post videos :(
Dude your so lucky!!! It's raining non stop in Miami 😭😭😭😭😭
Lot of fish for one day!
Great vid !
Nice vid.
nice vid man!!!!! fire vid btw!
Great vid
More info on the dry chum? What’s in it, home made?
Thanks.
Yea, he kinda left us hanging on that
Purina tropical fish food is the most common. Mix in a little menhaden oil or canned mackerel and you’re gold.
dope fishing video
Hey awesome video man! What kind of landing net are you using? I like the fact that your handle stores away!
It's called a Frabill Power Stow Net. Here's a link if you wanna check it out: amzn.to/2Ee2NAj
Bro buy the robotic lure which has a propeller build in swim really good. Plzzzzzz plzzzz plzzz try it that lure is made for u.
Tip if u buy the lure
Super glue the propeller cuz it falls really fast
Making it look so easy..
What size Clash you fishing with? I fish with Clash reels too. Recently purchased a 2500 and a 4000 Clash II. Yes they are nicer than the original. About half the weight too and a faster line retrieve rate too...More heavy duty like for big snook I really like the Slammer III series reels. Great drags!
Enjoy your channel! Keep up the good work!
He’s fishing with a 3000
Ahh the ole snook hole
Spot burnin
Bullbayrods are the best rods out there
bahahahahaha, you talk to the fish like I do...no one should have to fish alone, hit me up! :D
Saludos eselente video
hey man quick question, what brand and size braid do you use? and what kind of knot do you use to connect the braid to leader?
I use 15lb powerpro braid on my 3000 Penn Clash and I use a double uni knot for my leaders
I'll pay to cross some fish off my bucket list. I never caught a snook or peacock bass or red fish or jack kerval lol.
I can put you on reds and Jack crevalle all day in volusia
Any tips on how to fish with cut mullet in marshes. Ive been having no luck
Make sure your fishing in areas where mullet or some sort of bait is present, fresh is always best, if you can find a spot with an oyster bar that'll probably be your best bet
Any tips on setting the hook with circle hooks?
With circle hooks, all you need to do is reel down until you feel the fish and set the hook with a slow steady pull of the rod
What size weight are you use and how deep is the water
What boat are you on? Love your video's, super well done.
It’s a 2019 Sea Hunt BX 22 BR and thank you
Dude!
One time, at Punta Rassa close to the Sanibel bridge, I saw a dolphin throwing a very large snook up in the air, just playing with it. That snook had to be close to forty inches and the dolphin was flipping it over ten feet in the air. This went on for several minutes.
Nice video! I like your boat... what boat is it?! Can’t wait to come fishing florida... one month away!!! “see ya dude!”
It's a 2019 Sea Hunt BX 22 BR
can of cat food is cheaper. Just poke some holes in it.
Come on over to the Indian River Lagoon System sometime... But don't bother with Mosquito Lagoon. Bad algae bloom going on. Water is a mess...Poor water management for one reason. Don't get me started lol...
Do you use superwide on your GoPro head mount? You should make a GoPro set up video. I’ve seen a few but none have been to great. Also I’m right across the skyway. 🤙
These are the settings I use for the GoPro Hero 7 Black on my head mount. 2.7K 30fps Wide Protune on
Catches a million reds and his PB is 31” lol I like this guy
Buenos Robalos (snook).
That looked like an insane day, do you fish in the bay or along the coast? Never had anything like that.
Along the coast mostly
Hello can you share the location exactly of the places you fish at it would be so helpful. Thank you in advance for your time.
Brent are you a catch & release or do you catch & cook...first time watching however great day.
I mostly catch and release, but I have done a couple catch and cooks on this channel before
i am new to fishing. i love your video and your boat! what is the spec on your boat?
This vid was fire 🔥 You should fish around Bradenton or Anna Maria someday.
