One of the BEST Ways to Catch Redfish - Cut Bait Under Mangroves
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 13 сен 2024
- In this video, I wanted to show how to catch redfish using cut bait under mangroves at high tide. This technique is very good during these hot summer days that we are experiencing right now around the Tampa Bay area. I talk about different ways to get pinfish to use for cut bait, what tides I look for, and where and how to fish the mangrove shorelines. This day ended up being one of the best days of inshore fishing for both redfish and a surprise snook that I've had in awhile!

Thank you!
I like how you capture the chill zen feeling, it's a crucial part of fishing, for me its my reset.
Been doing this lately and it has been producing! Used to get so annoyed with catching pins, now they put a smile on my face!
Love your content , love that your local . Love snook! I think they are one of the most beautiful species of fish ! Just caught my first snook before red tide ruined everything down in Apollo Beach . I have a new spot in Tampa where I’m seeing tons of snook . Even seen some monster snook out there like upper 30s . Huge snook . 5 mins from my house in Tampa too . Spot hasn’t been hit my red tide much yet . It seems to be red tide proof 😂😂😂😂
Man I’m loving this channel. Got to try this
Good job mate! Very healthy Reds there - that snook was a beauty!
BRENT'S REDFISH MAGIC SHOW👍👍👍Gotta love the Redfish action 🤙 Keep up the Good videos, AWESOME content during this crappy red tide
Nice redfish and snook!!
Hey you messed You got it at the same place 3 times I wish I can do that.
Bravo to you ya Dude
Fired up reds, Let’s gooo!
You killed it buddy 👍👍👍..
Ah this is a few months back but what a great hole. Another thing that certainly helps is your accurate casting. Nice job. Really enjoyed this vid.
Wow great video Brent. Reds hitting within seconds of the bait hitting the water. 👍
Healthy fish, nice work!
Good old key west guide trick 🤙🏻 great video
Awesome red fish action man. I am going to try the cut bait. I always catch reds on artificial, I'm stoked to try this out.
Rip to that beast of a cut bait lol. It was the mvp of the fishing trip.
Dang thats a solid trip man, nice job!
Your cast are so accurate, and I realized that you cannot catch fish unless your deadly accurate with casting you should make a video on it
Really accurate casting just comes from practice
Gonna try this soon. Thanks for the info 🤙🏽
Awesome video 🔥🔥🔥
I wonder if that technique would work here in Daytona, we don't fish the river much in the Summer, but I'm going to try it next time.
I'm in new Smyrna beach...of course it works!!! Croakers..finger mullet and live shrimp too
@@nsbstrong3624 i thought you were fishing in the gulf here, oops
Word bro! Great video
Slaying em Brent!!
Great video
Looks like a blast man! Good thing you were accurate on those casts since you only had a handful of baits haha
Ur to good 🔥🔥
From 0:00 to 24:42 this video is an instant masterpiece
Why thank you 😂

Nice job .
niiice man
🐐
is this marco island
What kind of boat is that? Very nice Bro!
The one red you released had a hook in its mouth still! Awesome video though 🔥
Which red was it? I didn't notice that
Where are you in Florida.?.. Looks like Cape Coral
Around the Clearwater area
Respectfully, you cannot set the hook on a circle hook. You will snag a few but the hook will pop right out of the fishes mouth if you set the hook too fast or if the fish hits it really hard. The circle hook is designed to drag to the corner of the fishes mouth. Looks like you got a little excited on the first couple bites lol
Where do you get your dry chum from
Either from local tackle shops or online here: tampafishingoutfitters.com/products/purina-tropical-fish-starter-grower-chow-chum?variant=30604402884660
Do you find greenbacks or mullet to be just as effective as pinfish for cutbait? Or is pinfish the best?
I honestly haven't found too much of a difference when it comes to which one they prefer as cut bait. I mostly use pinfish because they're easy to catch, but they will eat any one of those options if properly presented to them
Did you see a lot of bad water in your area?
Does this method work all year? Winter also?
Yes it does, but it seems to work best during the hot days of summer
Where is this at
What general area are u, no RT?
Around the Clearwater area. Red tide was bad about 2 months ago, but it's been pretty clear here since then
has the red tide affected your fishing
It was bad around me about 2 months ago, but it’s been pretty clear since then
How was the red tide
I didn’t see any dead fish around my area this week
no bobber?
Nope, I prefer fishing cut bait on the bottom
key takeaway after this video: Learn how to cast precisely. period.
Why wouldn’t you live line them ?
Wonder if you’re fishing the Tampa Bay Area. Red tide has kill the fishing.
This was around the Clearwater area
Can I have the legal size redfish that you don’t want ?
Try a owner
Seems you need a semi professional bait catcher mate as well. Lol
