Great video buddy! That was exciting to watch! I love the way you took us through cooking as well. I’m fairly new to fishing and now I’ll know how to cook them as well.
Just found your channel and it’s exactly what I have been looking for. Very informative and entertaining, not over-produced, and you clearly have a lot of knowledge and skill. Fishing isn’t so random and about luck for me anymore. Thanks for posting and looking forward to binging all your videos as well as watching new ones.
very informative guy, got the joys of meeting him in person and go on a guided trip, learned a few things from him and can wait for the next trip out with him
Man I want to catch some reds like that! Looked like an awesome trip. And Nate, that dark sky was the eclipse. It was max coverage about that time you were filming. I was able to look at it through my welding shield at work and the sun was covered like 80%. You just couldn’t see it with the naked eye as the last 20% of the sun was still so bright.
What are your slot and bag limits? Also the jig your are throwing looks remarkably close to a freshwater bass jig w/ trailer. i had no clue that would work and will have to try some of my jigs next time I'm down there.
Was fishing down at Fort Fisher in North Carolina over the weekend and was at intercoastal angler I’m pretty sure I saw southern salt lures in there is that you?😮
Fishing on a open lake is the way to handle the eclipse . Somebody said that the full moon makes them bite . But the Sun and Moon on top of each other seems like they would bite like hell.
I wish they would increase the slot length at least an inch or two. I haven't caught a kerper Red in a couple years. Every one l hook is always way over slot.
Sweet video! How does a guy get in contact with you for some kayak fishing? Just retired from the Air Force, moved the family to Mobile, and am ready to fish!
Great video! Looking at getting me some of those redfish lures. Anyone know what weight to get? I see they have 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8, not sure what’s best or what the different weights would be good for. Any feedback is appreciated
Enjoyed the action and cooking! Thanks, Nate !
Thanks brother!!
