Are You A Bad Enough Dude To Listen To The Revamped Version of Bad Dudes 8BitStereo? Well you should, with improved quality, text, background visuals, and the infamous "IM BAD" voice sample: ruclips.net/video/NteyE4XSdKY/видео.html
released as dragon ninja in europe back then. and the composers or the sound board it uses, is also used in robo cop 1, alunser racing better known as turbo racing. but this game is great and that boss rush at stage 7 ooo that was hard haha
Everything is remix of everything. Let's appreciate music for what it is, without inspirations from others music would be a very dull, scarce and boring thing.
Tecmo's ninga gaiden (1, 2 and 3 specifically), some of the music ended up in a dozen more different games (varying pitches, tempos), and most notably, in world wrestling (the first match).
3:44 is the music that I remember the most, but the Green Ninja was the boss I liked, back when I was younger. I mean, way before Naruto came up, this guy was the original practitioner of the Clone Technique (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu), and smacking him down was pretty satisfying, back in the day.
Exactly. One thing we -were- smart to back then was the level of quality found in Data East games. They all had a certain quirkiness in their design or operation, even original arcade versions they developed.
@Wiiguy309 Part of the issue is that it depends on if you've loaded the video when you click the time. If the video has already loaded and you go to a time, it starts at a slightly different part than if you had not preloaded that bit yet.
As A Kid Playing This Game & River City Ransom I Though I Would Grow Up & Life Would Be Exactly Like These Games....And I Was Right. I Grew Up In Vallejo & Now I Live Outside The River City (Sacramento) But I Think Sacramento & Vallejo Are More Violent Than The Games....
As far as I know both the late Azuza Hara (a female video game music composer) and Hiroaki Yoshida created the music for both the arcade and NES versions. All those guys mentioned in the description did the soundtrack programming or arranged the music tracks BUT DID NOT COMPOSE THE MUSIC. The Ending theme was composed by James Sanderson.
I am an avid listener of this channel and I am always eager to listen when I see new game soundtracks get released. What I find ridiculous is people that take the time to discredit work that someone has put in to create these great renditions. Looking at you Alex B. You actually took the time to split hairs over the difference dual mono, remastered and remixed. Do you have a site with these great soundtrack renditions? I am going to presume not. If you don't like it, don't listen.
I'M GUESSING THAT SHOGO SAKAI(SINCE HE WORKED ON THE MUSIC FOR THE NES PORT OF BAD DUDES) GOT INSPIRATION FROM THE ENDING THEME TO MAKE THE PIGMASK THEME FOR MOTHER 3.
I don't really understand all the hate this game gets. It's not great, and neither are most of the Data East NES titles I've tried, but I wouldn't say it's bad either.
WhenxChristxReturnsx I dont get it either. One of my favorite games. Just beat it a few days ago. It is a tough game for sure, but the music keeps bringing me back for more and you save the Prez then go out for a burger. Awesome. Good eye bro. Been hearing about a sequel on Sega called Two Crude Dudes. Makes me wanna check it out.
TrueHolyRune The game has GREAT music, a decent level and enemy variety, and controls fairly well. Not much to complain about aside from that brutal last level. Haha yes, that's one of the most amusing endings to any game ever. From what I've heard Two Crude Dudes improves significantly from Bad Dudes.
Seen a dude speed run this game in 15 mins. That's not fun. You can't enjoy the game like that. It is cool to see peeps like to speed run Nintendo games.
+WhenxChristxReturnsx it's because it's a bad port of a beloved arcade game. It brought dissapointment to many kids back then, and doesn't have so many redeeming things besides its soundtrack and cheesiness to revindicate it nowdays.
This game has some serious rose colored memories. It’s objectively not good. But one thing that isn’t a rose colored nostalgic dream is the soundtrack!
In hindsight, was Bad Dudes a crappy game? Many think so when compared to it's more popular 8-bit home-ported counterpart, Double Dragon. Back then, however, not many were predisposed to some unwritten "standard" of how games should be like people expect today and a lot of it had to do with not having the internet for coverage. A lot of the time, it was just word of mouth in the schoolyard, especially if that publisher had no advertisements so I think even this game will always have it's fans.
Bad Dudes was a port off of an Arcade version... and if I remember correctly.. Data East created a beautiful classics disc for the Wii that had a stunning 16bit arcade version of Bad Dudes in it of all things! The graphics and controls to this 8 bit version were so horrible... I'd rather have the Wii disc instead.... thats definitely saying something as I only collect Wii consoles because of Dokapon Kingdom and their backwards compatibility to GC games!
Sorry, I don't do Arcade music, only soundtracks of the 8-Bit era (NES, Game Boy, Master System/Game Gear). But enjoy plenty of those that I offer on this channel! :)
i really quite like this game in a guilty pleasure way, i know this game is bad (no pun intended) but the soundtrack even tho its short is awesome not to mention stage 2 and 5 music got ripped off by castlevania rondo of blood just listen to opposing bloodlines and ya'll see what i mean.
This game is next to awful, but OST is quite interesting, especially Stage 2-5 music. This track, actually, somehow, reminds simultaneously of Toxic Crusaders (Level 4), Castlevania Dracula X (Level 1) and Batman (NES).

❤️👾🎮🕹️❤️
"I'M BAD!"
3:44 killing ninjas with your bare hands on top of a big rig at full speed
so cool
That's right! Fuck those Ninjas up!
Are you bad enough dude to listen this awesome soundtrack?
released as dragon ninja in europe back then. and the composers or the sound board it uses, is also used in robo cop 1, alunser racing better known as turbo racing. but this game is great and that boss rush at stage 7 ooo that was hard haha
the samples are also used in boulderdash nes version
I'M BAD!
If there's any game that can best represent the 80's, it's Bad Dudes.
I mean, President "Ronnie" got fricking kidnapped by ninjas. That is a hell-yeah 80s tagline!
3:38 - possibly the greatest Nes Soundtrack song of all time!
I love this soundtrack. It's so bad.
You're so bad! ;)
Obviously, he is a bad enough dude to rescue the President.
I'm bad
WAS THAT A REFERENCE TO THE POWER GLOVE SCENE FROM THE WIZARD?
So is the Power Glove.
This game has a special place in my heart due to it bringing me and one of my best friends together.
I remember the controls being a little awkward but it's nice to hear the music again! Thanks for posting!
This is the ultimate workout track! The Dudez approve!
Now THIS, is Bad Dude approval! ;D
Stage 2 &5 is straight up Opposing Bloodlines from Rondo of Blood, but this game came out first. Funny that.
Everything is remix of everything. Let's appreciate music for what it is, without inspirations from others music would be a very dull, scarce and boring thing.

+SaviourV sounds like a Castlevania song
awesome nes game soundtrack love bad dudes, still have the game of this today.
Great channel!
Bad Dudes is an underrated classic.
Bad Dudes was the game Back then me and my cousin would play this game this game kick butt
Let's go for a burger...
Exactly. One thing we -were- smart to back then was the level of quality found in Data East games. They all had a certain quirkiness in their design or operation, even original arcade versions they developed.
An example where the port nails the game music better than the arcade
battling on top of the moving truck while ninjas are coming your way is epic, specially with the tune playing on repeat :D
Oh yeah, BAD ass >:3
If this brand had something great, it was their soundtracks

@@johnross456 Were Getting There....Give it a few more Months !
They should bring back this game I miss it
OH HELL YES! This is coming from someone who IS a bad enough dude to rescue the president from ninjas :)
Shut up foo
KhidKholi Have YOU ever beaten the Arcade game on 1 credit? If not then keep quiet, cause I have.
***** I actually thought you were my friend Kenny, you have the same name lol
Sorry
This is great. Thanks so much for making this. It's really fantastic!
As far as I know both the late Azuza Hara (a female video game music composer) and Hiroaki Yoshida created the music for both the arcade and NES versions. 3:58 👌
Whoa, I heard Karnov at 2:58
Heck yes
um, the first boss is.... karnov hahaha so it makes sence.
BGM 2 stage 2 is my fave...great work as usual!
I definitely remember this game more for the cool music than the gameplay.
Whoever had this as a thumbs down definitely did not have a childhood
A better soundtrack than the game deserves
Im be going to dance this in front of my house

The music in the NES days... Sigh...
#rip
Greetings Earthlings! 👋👽 I bring thin crust pizza for everyone! Enjoy! 🍕 By the way this sound track Rawks! 👋👽👍
There is 1 good dude!
muy bueno very good
I'M BAD
I discovered the game initially when I was 6. It was at a birthday party I went to in mid 1992.
I Love th Second Level song, remembers my childhood fighting with the dragoninja :)
It wasn't ripped off in any way. Bad Dudes was released in 1989 in Japan. :)
...and definitely deserves more then the mere 4800 hits it has.
I really dig these tunes! If only the game wasn't so BAD!
3:44 is suprisingly good....well, compared to the game XD
Are you a bad enough dude to listen this music?
+Ragna the Bloodedge (Pablo1989) for a burger, yes!
I'M BAD!
I'M GUESSING THAT SHOGO SAKAI(SINCE HE WORKED ON THE MUSIC FOR THE NES PORT OF BAD DUDES) GOT INSPIRATION FROM THE ENDING THEME TO MAKE THE PIGMASK THEME FOR MOTHER 3.
was in my top games list for old school nes games so yeah bad ass game lol
You're awesome :D
Stage 2 and 5 give me a real Super Spy Hunter vibe.
Yee, I noticed that later, lol. :P Anyway... it's true, the soundtrack is top-notch for sure.
AWWwwwwww!!!! *Flashes*
The President has been kidnapped by ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the President?
Every once in a while, a home console bgm is better than the arcade - it's rare but it happens.......level 2 here is a good example
This game was badass
Yusuke Takahama was one of the people who composed the soundtrack to this game.
Here to save ya Ronnie, now let’s go get a burger!
I'M BAD! For some reason due to decompression, that scares the shit outta me.
In your description you should probably put stage clear and BGM 2 a second or two earlier.
I first heard that when I was around 5... yeah, needless to say, it scared me to beat the level :-p
are you a bad enough dude to listen to this soundtrack?
Sohakmet (in scratchy 8bit) *I'm Bad!*
KAAAAAARNOV!
This makes me want to beat someone up 80's style right now. lol
the first song on here sounds like the song in the intro of steven seagal's above the law.
Badass tunes, Macho men, I can see the Seagal connection :P
***** hahahah
Miami Vice theme
Stage 1 bgm reminds me a lot of the Miami Vice theme.
They mean it the other way.
I don't really understand all the hate this game gets. It's not great, and neither are most of the Data East NES titles I've tried, but I wouldn't say it's bad either.

me too ! when i was 10
Game Over ..........Thinker.
I did! :D
This game has some serious rose colored memories. It’s objectively not good. But one thing that isn’t a rose colored nostalgic dream is the soundtrack!
That I'm an even BADDER dude? XD
WIIGUY HAS KIDNAPPED BY COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. ARE YOU A BAD ENOUGH DUDE TO SAVE HIM?!
TFW when the videogame is based on the revolutionary war fought in your country.
Nice, you're right around my age then :-p
I always want to know what is the name of the second level song, were you have to fight in trailers. :)
I liked to pretend that the guys on the box art were me and my brother.
Nico, what does the music @ 3:44 sound like... I swear it's exactly like another game... especially the parts like @ 5:22
+InternetTAB
Richter's theme from Castlevania comes to mind.
Bad Dudes......more like a Bad Game! XD
Cheeseburgers with the President.
I think Karnov and Abobo might be related.
In hindsight, was Bad Dudes a crappy game? Many think so when compared to it's more popular 8-bit home-ported counterpart, Double Dragon. I'M BAD!!!!
i wanna save the president
This game is kinda sucks (average if not), but the music is kicking butt! I love it!
beat it when I was like 8 years old
the beginning of BGM 1 sounds a bit like the Pin*Bot intro
Bad Dudes was a port off of an Arcade version... and if I remember correctly.. Hey, dudes. Thanks ofr rescuing me. Now let's go for a burger. Ha ha ha!
like Michael Jackson say I'm bad
Good, but one reason why the arcade version is better is that it has co-op multiplayer.
But it ain't no chiptunes compared to the awesome NES soundtrack!
combatribes arcade full music please
Sorry, I don't do Arcade music, only soundtracks of the 8-Bit era (NES, Game Boy, Master System/Game Gear). But enjoy plenty of those that I offer on this channel! :)
If I remember correctly you did all that to save George Bush ( or a look a like)
Make this the sound of my electric motorcycle's engine.
i really quite like this game in a guilty pleasure way, i know this game is bad (no pun intended) but the soundtrack even tho its short is awesome not to mention stage 2 and 5 music got ripped off by castlevania rondo of blood just listen to opposing bloodlines and ya'll see what i mean.
I wanna eat a hamburger now.
50 thumbs up
are you bad enough to make a cool soundtrack!!??
This game is next to awful, but OST is quite interesting, especially Stage 2-5 music. This track, actually, somehow, reminds simultaneously of Toxic Crusaders (Level 4), Castlevania Dracula X (Level 1) and Batman (NES).
Consider yourself one bad RUclipsr.
Hell yeah! "I'M BAD!"
