I did circle South America recently and the whole region needs and deserves a dedicated World Update 🌎

South America would be a wonderful region to fly into, if it had a better photogrametry. The Andes zone from Peru to the south is great, but countries like Ecuador, Venezuela or Colombia are forgotten😢. There is a lot of generic textures, like patches in the ground

Imagine flying over the andes with a DC-3. 😅 that would be a challenge.

Love to see you flying in my country, Argentina!
I'm a 44 Argentinian with a Chilean father, so I crossed the Andes a lot of times. BTW, my uncle is a LATAM captain and he flew the A319/320.

Greetings from Chile! Absolutely loved the video, I've been recently watching a lot of your videos for the airbus a320neo and I have learned a lot, I'm much more confident flying the a320 now thanks to you, my goal is to know the aircraft so I can fly in vatsim in the next couple of days. I would love a flight back to Santiago, the skill you showed in this video really makes me want to fly more in the a320, especially in my country, thanks for all this videos!

Great flight. It would be nice back to Santiago. Its a better router and you Will pass very Close to the Aconcagua. Highest peak outside Himalayas.

Thank you so much for this one - a flight I have simulated many times but it is better watching a professional do it. I lived and worked in Santiago for a couple of years and had the pleasure of its wonderous Andean scenery during trips to the mountains and from my appartment and office windows. The Chilean people are also very welcoming. MSFS is so real it sure makes me remember all those experiences fondly. Even the smog in Santiago is replicated (but not remembered so fondly haha). I will be a definite viewer of any other Andean flights that you might perform - the north and south of the country are very different so try those too. Lastly, I noticed you mentioned LAN Chile during the passenger announcement - thats what it was called when I lived there.

Glad to see you flying in South America.
A suggestion, do the route - SCEL - SCBA or SCEL - SCCI. This a regular flight for LATAM.

I love doing SCEL-SAME-SCEL with the FBW, I'd love it even more if the LatinVFR Santiago Airport wouldn't break on the way back 😢

9:25 The squeak and tinny clank from that oxygen panel got me wondering… A tech with a lot of spare time should bring some PTFE grease and foam damper pads. Not for safety, but to improve public relations with maintenance dept. … 😂 _(great audio work by the devs!)_

Wow, that was quick for 170 passengers! My parents took a flight the other day and they had to stand 50 mins IN the jetway before they could board, was fascinated!
I have a question though, where do you get the names for the emergency waypoints? Like MUCX3 etc
That A321 literally did a 180 turn while no one was looking😂😂
    Great vid too

1:03:20 Sorry for the nitpicking: positions 1 and 2 (or any of the parking on the east of the appron) are the internal ones, 3 to 5 are domestic 🤭

hey! Why is there a wait between turning packs 1 and 2 on during climb?

    • @pong_sim
      @pong_sim Месяц назад

From what i remember, its to reduce passenger discomfort due to rapid pressurizations and airflow, the 2nd pack is usually delayed by 10s before being turned on
