- Best known for her Emmy-winning role as “Ugly Betty,” actress America Ferrera now plays the manager of a megastore in the new comedy series “Superstore.” She tells TODAY she was attracted to the new role because she “grew up watching shows about working-class people,” and reveals that as she was working on the series on location in a real Kmart, customers mistook her for a store employee.

Eric Dufur almost all comments from workers in retail stores even take away restaurants are swearing by it, I like how lame real customers are, caught on camera taking a shot of sample deodorant, or picking your nose etc.
Oh my sweet child, you have no idea. My countrymen are overall nice but in a retail store ... let's just say that it's like a jungle with wild beasts. I almost physically assaulted a woman for calling me like I was just some disease ridden dog.
