This song was written from the lead singer because his brother was suffering with severe depression and suicide. This song got me over my worst heartache
So glad you stuck to Fine Again. It's early Seether, and I feel is a better representation than Broken ft. Amy Lee, even if it is a less heavy song of theirs. That, and everyone listens to Broken. Don't get me wrong, great song, but it's honestly better without Amy Lee. If you'd like a more heavy Seether song, I'd recommend Gasoline or Let You Down.
I actually share your opinion on broken being better without amy lee, love her voice but she overpowers that song and it just doesn't fit (for me at least)
Better without Amy, tho my favorite "Broken" is from One Cold Night. 🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘 Shaun definitely got me in the divorce. 😅😅😅 Deep love for Seether. They've been there for so many of us thru so much.
Dude, seether is some creeper weed. Killer stuff. The more you listen, the better it gets. Subbed for the great music choice. Also the swag clothes change😂
I felt the song really bad as well and had me in tears. It just so happened that i found this song the next day after loosing my brother. It's an excellent song and definitely hits hard.
“I feel the dream in me expire, and there’s no one else to blame now”. Hits way too fucking hard, but I needed the wake up. It’s going to be fine, for me, for myself. For you and yourself too, bro. The horrors persist but so do we. In the face of an unknowable future, we continue, for what else is it to be human?
Love is something I've welcomed, it's also elusive by my own design as elusion I use as a defense mechanism. I've lived a strange roller coaster type of life and sometimes I'm way too protective of self letting love slip on by for the most part. Been taking more time as I've aged to forgive myself, to respect myself, to love myself. Things will never be perfect but when I take the time appreciate how far I've made it in life it feels good when I think of the impact I've made on some, talking others off ledges and giving others support when I couldn't support myself. It's taking some time for wisdom to catch up and as it does bit by bit wounds continue healing. Little by little it brings peace.
Dude your reaction to this video was so organic and honest. I enjoyed watching someone show emotion. It seems like you have a lot going on inside you. Best of luck to you. I think in time you will figure everything out.
They just came out with a new album last year too. I'd suggest "Wasteland" or "Buried in the Sand" Edit: I forgot about "Failure". That one's really good too
i saw how this song hit you... does it too me every time i hear it and heard it when was brand new. lead singer song writer is amazing artist lucky enough to see them 3 times live check out new album bruised n bloodied 👍👍👍
Hey brother I would just like to take some time to say that your 100% real! I love that and is why I subbed ❤! I have been dabbling in RUclips for a long time and being real about things 100 subs are hard to hit... glad you got em and wish you the best my dude! #1,000 subs inc!
Also, if you want another heavy hitting Seether track, there's Rise Above This. It was written for Shaun Morgan's (lead signer) brother, who committed suicide, and is a powerful video and song.
Side note to this. Rise Above This was originally written for his brother who at the time was struggling with an undisclosed issue. But before the album was to be released, he did what he did. So the sing then became a song for Shaun and eventually a song for a lot of people who deal with the damage suicide can do to not only the person but those who love them. Very good song. One of my personal favorites from them. Side note. Be there for those you love. You never know what a person is going through.
@@cjmitch91it wasn't an undisclosed issue. Shaun said eugene had attempted suicide before so he wrote the song ro show him how much he cared but didn't get to play it for him before he died. Here's an interview snippet Shaun did about it: "In our (SongFacts) interview with Shaun Morgan, he told us that this song was written slightly before his brother's suicide. "It was about an attempt that he had made on his own life," Morgan explained. "The idea was to write a song that if I could play it to him, that it would make him feel better. And unfortunately I never got a chance to play it for him. So it was written just before, like a couple of weeks prior to him dying." When we asked Shaun if he thought his brother might really take his own life, he replied: 'I never thought that it was a serious attempt. I thought the first time that it was an accidental thing. So I don't think that I, in my mind, thought that it was something that would be repeated. I didn't at all think that he was serious about it. I just wanted to write something to let him know that I cared about him.' "
Good band they are both deep and beautiful music a rare combination i feel in a world were people often shy away from real issues and are afraid to sing or talk about somethings nowadays. 2:37
I don’t know you, and you don’t know me. But I been in deep places before, but look man. I care for you, and I know sometimes some things may suck, but one thing that has resonated with me throughout my life is keep moving forward. No matter the struggles, no matter what you find yourself in, you keep pushing and move forward. When I felt lonely , I was able to learn myself even more. But I’m here and you sir are NOT lonely. Keep your head up 👑
Oh God so many great seether songs. Rise above this is about him trying to cheer up his bro before his brother ultimately killed himself days later. And the video is after his death. He's literally crying in it. It breaks me as a person. But u should also check out the other o.g. best underrated Rock band of the 2000s breaking benjamin. My personal opinion is breathe is there best song, but literally there isn't a bad song on any album. Even though the softer new album of remakes isn't my cup of tea, even that is phenomenal
Don't wan to sound crazy..The realest love that is completely unconditional is from your pet. People argue, faimly, friends go no contact all the time but your animal will be there everyday out of love.

You and I don't know one another but I could see that you have been going through some things in your life and this song brought it all to the forefront in your mind. You asked how do you know if someone loves you. Love is out flowing away from the self. Love is outgoing concern for another. We are all going through something in this life. This world is messed up but there is hope coming in the near future. That hope is the return of a All Powerful and Righteous Jesus Christ coming as God to right all of this evil world's ills. He's coming to wipe away all tears and to put down all sin and to show a deceived and wicked mankind the only way to peace and joy brimful and running over! We are going to have peace brought to us by the LIVING GOD! He will make those that fear His name to live in happiness and peace and none shall make them afraid!
Uhh no love sucks anymore these days most of them hide who they are most of the time man I'm about sick of it my bf sits there and says he loves me but doesn't.. I know he doesn't..
This song was written from the lead singer because his brother was suffering with severe depression and suicide. This song got me over my worst heartache
Those of us who struggled with addiction really feel this song on a different level
For real
Real shit.
No doubt, been sober for 10 years and still struggle to stay that way but my center is my daughter. I don't why to disappoint her ever
Truth. Yes we do.
Even if the song is about addiction, I think depressed people also relate to it a lot too

Edit: I forgot about "Failure". That one's really good too

You ask is love easily recognized? I say too often people act as if they don't deserve to be loved. I don't get that.
