Seether and Shinedown are both, hands down, the greatest live performances you will ever see
I saw them together here in Philly back in like 06-07ish for the Winter SnoCore Tour. Amazing shows by both as usual
Shawn has a beautiful way of sharing the pain he feels to make sure others know they aren't alone.
Seether never has a bad song.
Seether is an incredible band. They can have such heartfelt, emotional songs this this, Fine Again, Rise Above This and Words as Weapons and then great, catchy rock songs like Gasoline, Fur Cue, Let You Down and Bruised and Bloodied.
One of the more underrated bands in my opinion!
The real video to this song really makes this song hit you in the face when he's looking at the little girl and she's looking back at him and just the whole video brings a song in even deeper
My dad told me once he passes, he wants me to play this acousticly at his funeral.
Against the wall or pass slowly would also be good songs to play
This one is rough for me. Not sure why, but it hits home. Forgiveness is hard to accept sometimes.
Seethed has a lot of great music. Saw them in concert I about twelve years ago with Red and Breaking Benjamin. It was awesome.
Red? Now they're definitely underrated. But yeah seether does deserve more recognition even they do have some big hits like broken and fake it. I'm pretty sure they have a new album coming out this year or maybe it already came out.

Seether is my favorite South African band. They have a lot of dark lyrics from a hard past.
The story behind this song is about a man who was drunk driving and hit and killed a little girl. She was Native American, so he goes back to her reservation to visit her grave, and the people there are angry, and don't want him there, but he does it anyway to try to ease the pain he feels inside for what he has done, cause he is having difficulty living with himself, (the thing in the mirror).........you are not watching the official video, if you get the chance to you should check it out the whole story is there.

This song is to help others understand when ur at the bottom. It’s not that we’re worthless, but we seek purpose. I’ve always felt that This song is about when you’ve fought too long, too hard, for too many, and this is just before your second wind. It’s ok to be down for a while, but like nature, you must move forward

Seethe has very interesting lyrics and Shaun Morgan's choice of words always stood out to me and his ability to write interesting riffs and unique sounds and his vocal sound all resonated with mebqhen ibwas younger and remains favorite band. Got me through a lot

You should watch the live version of this…Shawn Morgan is one of the best!!! Also, the last part where it says he’s so ashamed of this, It says that a couple times…but then it switches to the word me. Those lyrics weren’t quite right so I thought I would let you know that part.

A random fact about this album compared to their others, Seether (Shaun especially) was criticized for their first album (the technical re-release) because he swore so much. So this album he didn't swear at all in it. No one even noticed but look it up, read the lyrics lol. Then the next (3rd) album he went off again hah. Love these guys.
I see the song as one I sing to the kids as I grow old.

Seether a band from South Africa. Shawn Morgan has to leave his daughter to come to America to make it. Which he did. Had a relationship with Amy lee lead singer of Evanessance. Seether plays heavy soft and medium rock. They are also hilarious. Watch the video to same damn life or betray and degrade. Super underrated band. Please do more seether.
I've watched them live four times now most of those shows was in a small venue called the House of blues they opened up for Crossfade one time and the lead singer from Crossfade came on stage and said how do we compete with that they did what they could but it was no Seether

His brother committed suicide. This song is about himself as well as his brother. The gift, something his brother gave him. The one I need, his brother 😢. Or....it's his brother's note. This is the best song to play as loud as possible and sing to, cry to, release. I play this everyday...as well as all their songs. But this song is the ultimate release of emotion song. I subscribed to ya. ❤❤

It would be cool if by the end of the video if you are not sure what the song is about you could look it up so you know and if we do not know we will. I do not know of any reactors doing it like that.
Struggling in a world you don't understand
Hear me out... In a way I feel like he is referring to God throughout this entire song. Saying that he is afraid of the gift "you" give me and that he feels ashamed possibly for living the life of a rockstar, enjoying the fame and fortune, all by a god given talent? I'm a somewhat religious person, but not the type to take a deep dive on something like this. Just food for thought.
Close, he's asking forgiveness from his brother for continuing to live after his brother took his own life, and Sean's difficulty in attempting to deal with the pain,shame,guilt of drug addiction, alcoholism, amd failing to move on from the event.
