- This might be the end of an era! The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV is finally here, and it's way better than you think. Imagine the heart-thumping power of a muscle car combined with the cutting-edge, clean energy of an electric vehicle. Dodge has even found a way to still give this car the same iconic exhaust note even if it’s an EV.
With a starting price of around $50,000, this beast packs a punch with two versions: the Daytona R/T rocking 496 horsepower and the Daytona Scat Pack boasting a whopping 670 horsepower.

I’m more excited to see what the Charger Sixpack with 550HP Twin Turbo in-line 6 Hurricane can do. I’d buy that before EV!

This is hilarious, a muscle car that is already beaten by the recently announced specs is the model 3 ludicrous... Seems like a little late and underperforming to me. When your brand lives in the world that Tesla plays in why would you choose a Chrysler product over the tech, connectivity and integration of the Tesla ecosystem? Makes absolutely no sense
It's a good thing It's pretty because, anything with 2 motors or more from Tesla will smoke it. The Dodge is just too heavy. Tesla uses titanium aluminum Carbon fiber and plastics. The only thing that Dodge knows how to use is steel and iron. Hence a 6000 pound Beast. If you drive.
It like you drive a gas car, You're gonna maybe get a 170 miles range On the scat pack because nobody's gonna buy the other one, And you're gonna blow through tires. I mean, this thing We'll just eat tires up. My brother owns a Tesla and he buys tires for that car constantly. And the Tesla is not even nearly as heavy as this car. Good luck with it. I'll keep my HELLCAT.....

Yeah no thank you the moment they announce this car I went straight to the Dodge dealership and got me a used Scat Pack I'm a Mopar fan myself and I can say this car is a joke the only people that are going to buy this car or clout Chasers and rich people this its not a car for the every man the narrator in this video said it himself if emphasis on if you can find a charging station and what are you going to do if you don't find a charging station walk home 260 mile range is nothing if you plan on going to a car meet further than 45 minutes away you're screwed and if you do any burnouts or pools the mile range goes down drastically and don't get me started on the price they are gimmick the idea of it being $50,000 but we all know dealer markups are going to eat this car alive is going to at least be $80,000 for a base model and well over a hundred thousand for the Daytona this car is going to flop hard look at Ford they can't give away Mach e right now so bad to the point they've been very vocal about stepping back from electric vehicles Dodgers going to have to produce a smaller V8 or suffer the same fate as the Mach e

Ha that car is going to do more damage to the environment. Ev cars with their weight eats tires, and tears up roads. And should we go behind the scenes of the chargers, powered by diesel generators. Ev cars are a joke. Your gas cars has an alternator to recharge the battery, why haven't they thought of a system like that to recharge their batteries, we have the technology something to think about.
