The original 66-67 Chargers were fastbacks that had that long roofline like the new one. People need to realize there were Chargers before Challengers ever existed.
The proportions are awkward. I kind of like the 4-door version better. You're right that the rear deck is too short. They could have still made it a hatchback with a longer rear deck lid. The side behind the door to the rear wheel is too long. The roof line is too long, and that is exaggerated by the short rear end.
It harkens back to the current and past Charger designs, and it is not hard to find similarities, therefore comparing it to Challenger is not appropriate.

@@VaunShiz That's because the 60's era chargers could seat 4 people, it just happened to have 2 doors. Almost like the new one is doing the same thing. Clearly the nameplates mean something. Some people just don't pay attention to that fact.
I'm sorry, what exactly about this thing reminds you of, say, a 69 Charger? To me, nothing at all. It's one of the worst-looking, fuck-ugliest toasters since Cybertruck, and you guys are comparing in to gens 1 and 2? Heresy.
I understand they're both 2 doors, but I don't think the Challenger should be in this comparison. Compare the new model to the outgoing and late 60s Chargers' design. The lines of the canopy and the back 2/3 of the car look very reminiscent of the 68 and 69 models. The nose does seem a bit wonky, although I do like the air passway thru the nose and over the hood. I think that grill opening needs to be opened up a bit, top to bottom. I do think darker colors could hide some of the more awkward front end lines. The fake engine noise will be awkward regardless, so why not get relative with it and offer some unique settings.
It looks like a Charger. No, it not a flared widebody with massive aero accouterments circa last century. It doesn't have a budging, scooped hood and stripe package. It's an EV. It's a modern rendition, an EV one at that, in unchartered waters . Overall, I like it as a "first" year model. Love the shape, 2 doors, and the hatchback. And remember, this isn't the beast. This is "mid-tier".
If we are being honest, we wouldn't hate it if it wasn't a "charger". It just feels like an insult to the "charger" name. What real charger sounds like a hoover?
@@JRLL81_ I think you are misunderstanding my point. I dont like the design but could see it working much better as a bmw or an audi. IIt is an insult to the charge name due to its design. It is nothing like the charger was historically imo, and the lines look... wrong. The stringent at best link between EV and the word charger doesn't really matter as it wasn't what I meant. If you are talking about the OG charger then that came out in '66 with a 5.2 V8, definitely not an EV
Crying about EVs as if they'll suddenly go away is just pathetic at this point. That said, this design clearly takes it's cues from the '69 charger which had smoother transitions in its lines and a longer roofline than the challenger that is being compared for some reason. Claiming this is an insult is just your opinion with no basis in reality. The inline 6 will sell plenty regardless especially when the widebody variants show up.
@@MuShinnenright. This ain’t even about how it’s powered, it’s based on styling, Dassit!! As for this video, it’s stupid to compare this to the challenger design wise. Especially when he said which car better represents the 60s & 70’s. Cause they BOTH DO IT WELL!! They are both modern representations of the past. Charger is based on the 67- 68 model and Challenger only had one year, the 70.
If you check out Dodge’s actual channel and reveal video, you can at least hear the start up of the ICE variant right before they show it. Reminds me of the b58 sound just deeper/lower. I’ve taken some listens/comparisons. Now I’d say the sound is basically b58 with a muffler delete.
Interior looks like recent Lexuses especially Lexus LS. While on the Outside it looks like Hyundai Iconic 5. Actually Hyundai's Iconic 5 EV and some of Hyundai 76 seem like they were a huge inspiration for this one! Seems we're back to the Malaise era
@@kevinporter1832 I really don't think you know the market because if you did you would know range isn't important in this case. The ICE hemis get awful gas mileage and range, but that's the fun of it with a big gas guzzling boat. These aren't meant for long distances

Remarkable styling job. This is the first time I've really wanted a new car in a while. And they did a great job of balancing form with function. Not every muscle car buyer is willing to sacrifice function on the altar of style and, anyway, the new one is so good-looking there's no sacrifice at all.
You are comparing a wide-body Challenger to a narrow-body Charger. Not really fair. Why didn’t you compare the standard narrow-body Challenger to the new Charger?
My main problem with this car is the placement of the roof This car is not suppose to mimick the hatch back tailgate I think pushing the c pillar a couple of inches to the front and also adding that part that looks like a body kit to the car i think it would look really cool
What are you talking about? The normal scat pack does NOT do 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds. The HELLCAT does 0 to 60 in 3.7. The 6.4 is rated around 4.4 A8 and 4.5 M6...
Looks just ok but a muscle car should have “muscles” and the new one lacks them. Look at the hips and wheel arches on the previous generation, just slap them on the new model and there you’ll have a nice redesign respecting most of the key lines.
as others below have siad you comparing apples to oranges here two different dodge cars the challengers from 2008-2014 were based on the 1970 challengers and the challengers from 2015-2023 were based on the 1971 dodge challengers this new charger is based on elements from the first and second gen chargers the interior and huge trunk space and tail lights are based on the first gen chargers of 1966 and 1967 while the body lines are based on the second gen chargers of 1968 through 1970 those are the cars you should have been using in this not the 2015-2023 challenger
Hopefully the new one gets a Widebody kit and crazy EV for acceleration then V8 for power hybrid version in a couple years. 7:05 Comparing a Widebody to a non-widebody isn't the most fair, so hopefully we get a glimpse of what the Widebody version looks like Also, 9:54 It's likely because of aerodynamic concerns, because the EV is a lot heavier than the ICE version they probably opted for that.
This NEW design is a wide body! In its longest R/T form, the Charger Daytona measures 206.6 inches long, more than 5 inches longer than the outgoing four-door Charger Hellcat Redeye. The wheelbase is 121 inches, an inch more than the old four-door Charger. And at 79.8 inches wide, the Daytona coupe is 1.5 inches wider than the widebody Chargers.
Listen- the same thing happened when the Charger was reintroduced as a 4-door. Lots of “A REAL Charger has 2-doors” and all the other complaints… people got over it. Now we really do have a 2-door Charger- excellent. I don’t care if it’s got a TT I6, or an EV powertrain…. Dodge had killer turbo cars- loved those things. Dodge was doing something different, and it worked for them. Dodge will find new customers for these new vehicles, even if the most recent V8 L-car fanboys abandon the brand. Besides, Dodge sold more V6 Chargers and Challengers than any other model anyhow. The “practical” customer seeking affordable stylish transportation is who keeps Dodge in business, not the gear heads. Hence why Dodge killed the V8’s and is pushing ahead with their future product plans- they’re trying to hit the market sweet spot, the niche 700+ hp segment doesn’t generate enough $$$$ for Dodge to even bother trying to smooth things over. People today forget muscle cars abruptly died once before, and the world carried on.
The design is not trying to mimic the challenger. I don’t know if you know musclecar started in the 50s and 60s so the second GEN hemi came out in the 60s what cars were around in the 60s one of the cars that reminds me of the new charger front end is the cornet the sides, and the rear end reminds me of the 68 charger that’s what I think, of course
i think the new one looks basically like a random coupe, with the greenhouse doors and hood, just with the dodge bumpers in the front and rear attached to it, like a body kit or a mod :p
You really need to compare it to the 1966 charger it shares more of its design from the mid to late 60's. I is not based off of the Challenger at all this makes no sense to me.
I find it weird that a lot of people are complaining about comparing the charger to a challenger instead of the classic charger. In my opinion it’s really obvious why he’s comparing it. This 2d Dodge Muscle car is meant to replace the challenger, so comparing it with what it’s retiring is completely understandable.
That argument doesn't make sense because the new Charger comes in a 4door variant AND the original Chargers always had 2 doors anyways, and it's replacing the last gen Charger not Challenger, which is why it has the Charger nameplate. So it really doesn't make sense to compare it to the Challenger espe if that's where a lot of the criticism is coming from, cause it obviously takes tons of inspo from the 60s and 70s Chargers, I don't really get how it's weird ppl are frustrated over a pretty dumb decision on his end
You seem to not understand something that is so clear and simple even tho they explain it in their comments, this vehicle is not replacing the Challenger, Dodge themselves said they are not discontinuing the nameplate of the Challenger, they are simply saving it for a future project. This has the Charger nameplate, which they explicitly said is what is being replaced, and they said this is based on the 60-70's Charger design which anyone with half a brain and decent eyesight can tell from a quick glance that it is a very much accurate modernized version of the classic styling of the Challenger which also came with 2 doors and a 4 door variant as of modern times. So it's actual bullshit to claim that the main reason here is that it's a 2 door sports car meaning it's replacing the Challenger when everything points to the Charger, comparing 2 different vehicles and their styling is beyond stupid. He should know better, I always said it before but this dude backtracks a lot on what he says and is always contradicting and making up bullshit with his opinions.
@@leofhr2966This is Dodge's new 2 door muscle car, it's only fair to compare it to the old Challenger. It they didn't want the comparison, they wouldn't have made a 2 door version.
Yes this design takes inspiration from the original charger which I am happy about. Yes the old challenger might look better but that’s because you’re comparing a wide body with the new standard charger. Better comparison would be the new base charger and the old base v8 challenger.
With all due respect… You’re telling me that you’re about to spend the entirety of this video fully comparing The Dodge CHARGER’s Successor to The current Challenger? Two DIFFERENT cars… That, DO NOT Look similar and then elaborate on why they DO NOT look similar? How much time was put into this video? If u want to do it for fun that’s cool i guess, But WHY? Specifically referring to the challenger as “The old one” … bruh this isn’t “the new one” it’s literally a different car. Why there’s no mention of any other PREVIOUS Charger on the video is WILD. The 60’s charger basically DEFINED what we refer to as “classic muscle proportions “ to this day. That coke bottle shape has always been it’s main factor and you’re comparing it to the Chrysler Brick ? I’m Lost… Again no disrespect but this is video is an ENTIRE L .
He had me like: "surely there is a current model of the charger sold these days?... The cop car one? That is a dodge, right? I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS "
They mashed the charger and challenger together, but they left it in 'sketch mode'. I.e. they didn't refine the detailing and connections between different parts of the car well enough. Many 'parts' 'look good', but none of the parts 'really work together'...
You like the Challenger, which looks like the old 70-74 Challengers. However the Charger has always looked different than the Challenger, you can't compare them. This 2025 Dodge Charger has some of the styling cues from the 1966 Dodge Charger. Compare the sloping roof lines, the rear fold down seats, and the rear trunk opening of the 66 version with the 2025.
I wouldn't even compare the new Charger to the Challenger since the original Dodge Charger was also a 2-door car. In fact, I see more original Charger in the new one than I see Challenger. But as someone who's a fan of Hellcats, Hellcat Redeyes, Demons, and the whole shebang, I'm willing to give the new Charger a chance. Especially when you consider the current state of EVs. At this point in time, the demand for EVs has plateaued and has been slowly decreasing. As a result, manufacturers now have to rethink their electrification strategies and they basically have to push them back by a couple of years. This means that there could be a chance for something special in the works.
yep, he's been comparing this charger with the challenger since they first showed the concept... even though it's based off of the classic charger with more curves.
@@fenrirslip it honestly pisses me off lol, just look up 1969 charger and you can clearly see where the inspiration came from. Particularly with the side view proportions.
Does this dude not read his comments on any of his channels videos. Does he just go with his own narratives on what the car is clearly not based on? How do we all know what generation of this car is based off of except the car designer? It’s literally a retro design of the 1966 Dodge Charger from the interior to the exterior.
The 2024 uses more design cues from the 66-67 Chargers. The Challenger of course pays its homage to the 70-74 Challengers. Now on the New Charger if you look closely to the side profile especially up front where you mentioned the cut off line it is mimics the 68-70 Chargers with the how flat their noses were. To me both show their heritage to Muscle Cars or Lore !!!! I think it will be a homerun once the Ice Versions hit the market probably springtime next year
I dislike in general that car manufacturers use horsepower and torque as a measurement for their vehicles. It comes off as if it's comparable to a car with a real engine. Afterall, horsepower is torque x RPM.
You think people will buy the car. Because of the Design. Good luck with that. I'm a GM guy. I don't want Dodge to burn down How heavy is as you say Muscle Car Now you're just repeating yourself.
My Opinion: The new design nailed it. The hatchback required a more steeply raked roofline and loosing the bump on the rear side brings the car into the modern era. Overall, this design has a strong nod to the past without living in the past. Love it!
A return of a 2 door Charger is a welcome event. The clean lines impress me and they evoke the 1968-70 design, which to my eyes is a very good thing. The 1970 Challenger is also a great design - I never warmed up to the 2007 (and beyond) version - too big, too chunky - although one cannot ignore the performance of the recent versions.
This is a fair comparison. Dodge killed off all its hemis and this charger masquerading as a muscle car is now dodge’s idea of what a muscle car should be as electric. You’re comparing the old and new representations of muscle, not the model
Wholeheartedly agree, this is a successor to the charger first and foremost, even having a four door version, they're trying to replace two cars as one, so of course they would be compromises like the elongated greenhouse.
I am still excited about it and think it looks fantastic Especially fascinating to me how they kept the relatively high hood line look while actually making it way lower, for aero.
I think it's actually one of the best looking cars in a long time, and I'm glad they chose the Charger to do it with. The Charger has always changed with the times, it was a muscle car in the 60s, it was a land yacht in the 70s, it was a turbo hatch in the 80s, and it was a performance sedan for the 2000s and 2010s. I think they knocked it out of the park and while I'll miss the Hemi, anyone who hates on the design I can't take serious, it looks like the 66 Charger and 68 charger had a baby in 2020.
The design of the new car is not too bad. A little conservative in a way, looks lighter, but I do notice there is a nod to the original first Dodge Charger that came out in 1966 with the way the rear window is raked - just looking at it from the rear at both left and right corners.
First time seeing your channel. Pretty good man. I’m a designer/custom builder that i do for homes and landscape in Florida so I’m interested in watching you stare at the designs and see what you see. It’s made me want to start goofing around with looking at cars the same way i see the rest of the world. People don’t know that once you do design and hit a certain level that you can see into the head of other designers from their work and you can actually tell their capabilities with their mind and imagination and know right off the bat if you respect them. Lower level or limited mind designers have no idea that real natural designers can see in their head and know they suck and just follow rules of their field. Like a boring interior designer who just sticks chairs in corners of rooms and calls that design because that is what normal ppl don’t do. Definitely liked your break down. The car does look horrible and boring on the track seen. When just sitting there inside it looks ok but any car does but that car on the track looked like an old lady car. That hatchback looks horrendous-just because Corvette got away with it doesn’t mean Mopar can and those hatchback 4cylinder chbargers in 80s were throw away disposable cars. They were a joke and embarrassing. A lot of people today don’t know the government came after V8s back in 80s and 90s and it pretty much ended up that you could on,y get a V8 in a luxury car. So we’ve been here with the govt before and all that was back then was to bring in Japanese and Korean and a few French POS cars so govt could make side cash and make us all drive garbage of which driving belts and chains broke nonstop in cars during that time-it was the first question you asked when buying a used car. They did try and brainwash ppl back then that it was acid rain and global cooling, ozone hole(fake) lol. Same scam different day. Just so you know ppl -we need acidic rain, because most soils have high PH and it neutralizes the soils so plants can take up more nutrients including the nitrogen that’s in rain. So they fooled ppl for something that is natural. We aren’t parasites ppl-stop letting them brainwash you that we are and we are on,y using stuff on planet-there is no perfect climate -it always will change and just because these old ppl grew up with it different doesn’t mean that was the perfect climate. Because their parents would argue they had the perfect climate-when you can plant food all year in Canada will be a good climate and fossils from tropical animals have been found up there so it’s been that way before and will again-that’s awesome-keep snow just up in high elevation. That will be a perfect climate. Anyway. I think Dodge is waiting to see who becomes President so they know if these ridiculous emissions laws get ripped up so they can give surprises with these cars-they did design them to be electric or gas if you notice-so they’re hoping they can do both because a V8 with electric motor to make AWD would be cool for when you’re in rain and then shut it off.
charger vs. challenger is apples to oranges....I like the new design of the charger, and am SOOOO glad they finally made it back into a factory 2 door.
The Challenger looked great when the current model was first released, but it seems just too big for what it is to my eye. The new Charger looks cleaner while still conveying that it's a muscle car, and even does a good job of looking like an evolution of the previous Charger design.
I agree 100% with your opinion, even though there are people in the comments saying: "it's different because it's inspired by the 70's Charger" and bla bla bla. The truth is that the 70's Charger was mean and aggressive, a beast. This new Charger is lame, boring, too tame, it looks like the car a child would draw.
I love it! Most EVs are fugly 4 door gelatinous blobs. The Charger looks like a classic muscle car. Nice work Dodge! Now just make them affordable please. A solar sunroof and bi-directional, V2H charging would be nice, too.
u got points but it is based on the 60s daytona, which also looked sleeker and more aerodynamic than other muscle cars of the time. And other points about the hatchback proportions, the space in front side, etc., I agree with you that the Challenger is more beautiful but all of these can be kind of seen on the 60s Charger Daytonas, so I think they did a great job. Just take a look at 60s Daytona, even the gear shifter is similar. Also, I don’t think this is replacing the Challenger, it is a Charger after all.
I totally agree. The proportions are weird. Especially the rear. They should have went with a traditional fastback design. The interior is too futuristic. The car is 80% percent there.

I sure hope my sarcasm is shining through! Im listening to this guy talk about all the effort put in!! Wow, hire me, i can do so much better!
The new design is weak and timid looking, especially the front. There is so much cringe attached to this car. 3 tons with a driver, fake exhaust sound, no V8’s while their competitors still have them. This is going to go down as one of the worst fails ever.
Why compare it to the Challenger? The Charger was originally a 2dr and it's not just based on the American Charger. It's design is also based on the Aussie Valiant Charger and Brazilian Charger
I don't care how fast these EV's are.Or if they "sound" like an engine. They should not ,or ever be called a muscle car. This is a slap in the face to the muscle car community. In my opinion Dodge has sold out to the Liberal Green people who are forcing these Ev's down our throats for the past 4 years. The natural sound, smell, and feel coming from a V8 internal combustion engine is the heart of a mucle car. Take that away, and you have a glamorized golf cart thats trying to be something it's not. I would take a 68 or 69 over the new crap all day even if it had a 225 tower of power
I'm sorry, what exactly about this thing reminds you of, say, a 69 Charger? To me, nothing at all. It's one of the worst-looking, fuck-ugliest toasters since Cybertruck, and you guys are comparing in to gens 1 and 2? Heresy.
@@WickedParanoid Specsavers?
The muscle has atrophied
It's also even fatter. 5800lbs. Nearly 3 tons.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.....Best comment👍👍👍
How? The muscle is now more powerful.
@@Josh-179it's the design that's being talked about.
😂😂
This new design actually reminds me of the Australian market Charger, with its slightly awkward fastback proportions.
Yeah definitely
It looks like a Charger. No, it not a flared widebody with massive aero accouterments circa last century. It doesn't have a budging, scooped hood and stripe package. It's an EV. It's a modern rendition, an EV one at that, in unchartered waters . Overall, I like it as a "first" year model. Love the shape, 2 doors, and the hatchback. And remember, this isn't the beast. This is "mid-tier".
BUT you are comparing a CHARGER against a CHALLENGER?
Technically they dont need to have any resemblance.
The last charger was a sedan that resembled neither of the originals lmao whut
If we are being honest, we wouldn't hate it if it wasn't a "charger". It just feels like an insult to the "charger" name. What real charger sounds like a hoover?
How is it an insult to the charger name when the og charger name fits the ev...

I finally figured it out. It's the roof line. It slopes down and makes it ugly
yes. a straight level roof which would sit lower would make it perfect. but its a trashy ev, so it is a no go anyway
Yeah, it looks like a 2 door version of a 4 door car.

Not on the EV. It would nuke the range.

Remarkable styling job. This is the first time I've really wanted a new car in a while. And they did a great job of balancing form with function. Not every muscle car buyer is willing to sacrifice function on the altar of style and, anyway, the new one is so good-looking there's no sacrifice at all.
The front end is a plain, boring disaster
You are comparing a wide-body Challenger to a narrow-body Charger. Not really fair. Why didn’t you compare the standard narrow-body Challenger to the new Charger?
Sketch Monkey redesign??? YES, PLEASE!!!
It looks like the banyo playing kid from deliverance version of the challenger.
My main problem with this car is the placement of the roof
This car is not suppose to mimick the hatch back tailgate
I think pushing the c pillar a couple of inches to the front and also adding that part that looks like a body kit to the car i think it would look really cool

Look up a 2000 Chrysler Sebring thats what new charger looks like
Looks just ok but a muscle car should have “muscles” and the new one lacks them. Look at the hips and wheel arches on the previous generation, just slap them on the new model and there you’ll have a nice redesign respecting most of the key lines.
the "old one" is the challenger and the widebody variant. this is actually based off of the 70s charger, take a look and you'll see why it's so curvy.
Thats whats called a modern muscle car. Completely different from the design inspiration for the new charger
@@DodgerFloofyou’re right, I meant the previous model.
Design has a closer look of 1966 charger in comparison of all other classic cars dodge charger 1966-1973.
I’m just realizing this is the second time since the 1980s that Dodge has made a Charger without a V8.
as others below have siad you comparing apples to oranges here two different dodge cars
the challengers from 2008-2014 were based on the 1970 challengers and the challengers from 2015-2023 were based on the 1971 dodge challengers
this new charger is based on elements from the first and second gen chargers the interior and huge trunk space and tail lights are based on the first gen chargers of 1966 and 1967
while the body lines are based on the second gen chargers of 1968 through 1970
those are the cars you should have been using in this not the 2015-2023 challenger
Hopefully the new one gets a Widebody kit and crazy EV for acceleration then V8 for power hybrid version in a couple years.
7:05 Comparing a Widebody to a non-widebody isn't the most fair, so hopefully we get a glimpse of what the Widebody version looks like
Also, 9:54 It's likely because of aerodynamic concerns, because the EV is a lot heavier than the ICE version they probably opted for that.
@@josephacevedo8376 Thanks for the info, yeah I wish they would add the fender things and stuff to help with that "blank space"

With a Widebody Challenger
The last charger was a sedan , y'all smooth brained
You really need to compare it to the 1966 charger it shares more of its design from the mid to late 60's. I is not based off of the Challenger at all this makes no sense to me.
My 2013 SRT8 gonna look that much Better with these on the Road!😅😅
The car doesnt look aggressive at all.

Why do u compare it to a challenger when it’s clearly made to resemble a 60s and 70s charger
They mashed the charger and challenger together, but they left it in 'sketch mode'. I.e. they didn't refine the detailing and connections between different parts of the car well enough. Many 'parts' 'look good', but none of the parts 'really work together'...
They should've designed it like the old classic charger in term of sleekness,(This body is inspired by that by the looks of it.)
Electric for acceleration then the V8 once you hit 60mph would be amazing.
yep, he's been comparing this charger with the challenger since they first showed the concept... even though it's based off of the classic charger with more curves.

@@DodgerFloof Oh for sure. There's no denying it.
I think the new charger is trying to emulate the 66-67 charger
Does this dude not read his comments on any of his channels videos. Does he just go with his own narratives on what the car is clearly not based on? How do we all know what generation of this car is based off of except the car designer? It’s literally a retro design of the 1966 Dodge Charger from the interior to the exterior.
It looks like a 90s chinese knock-off while trying to make it more "futuristic", it's pretty revolting
The C-Piller reminds me of a GTR
It really makes me happy that I'm keeping my 2018 Scat Pack Challenger for a very long time.
I felt the opposite about the wheels, too big, I would put 17s or 18s on it

My Opinion: The new design nailed it. The hatchback required a more steeply raked roofline and loosing the bump on the rear side brings the car into the modern era. Overall, this design has a strong nod to the past without living in the past. Love it!
Is a manual transmission still available???
hell no
A return of a 2 door Charger is a welcome event. The clean lines impress me and they evoke the 1968-70 design, which to my eyes is a very good thing. The 1970 Challenger is also a great design - I never warmed up to the 2007 (and beyond) version - too big, too chunky - although one cannot ignore the performance of the recent versions.
No Manual=Lame
So lame!
better to compare it to the charger
That’s what I was thinking.
This is a fair comparison. Dodge killed off all its hemis and this charger masquerading as a muscle car is now dodge’s idea of what a muscle car should be as electric. You’re comparing the old and new representations of muscle, not the model
Wholeheartedly agree, this is a successor to the charger first and foremost, even having a four door version, they're trying to replace two cars as one, so of course they would be compromises like the elongated greenhouse.
not only that but a scat pack. He said the Daytona wasn't as cool as the challenger lol like duh you're looking at a demon.

I feel like the concept looked way better than the production version
I’d like to get a job where the designs run their ideas through me before they put it into production. I’d be making millions
I am still excited about it and think it looks fantastic
Especially fascinating to me how they kept the relatively high hood line look while actually making it way lower, for aero.
Looks awesome but won’t be driving a giant cell phone around with speakers making engine noises..
You can't compare the new charger to the wide body that's out now. Let the new one get a wide body then you compare it. Lies
If this thing doesn’t have a decent 60-130 it’s over
The Challenger looked great when the current model was first released, but it seems just too big for what it is to my eye. The new Charger looks cleaner while still conveying that it's a muscle car, and even does a good job of looking like an evolution of the previous Charger design.
Iìlike the design. Very nice and clean.

There’s something off with the rear styling. It looks just a little too short.
If you get a scat pack you can swap the 400 volt battery with the 800 volt battery that will be on the SRT banshee the batteries are interchangeable

I totally agree. The proportions are weird. Especially the rear. They should have went with a traditional fastback design. The interior is too futuristic. The car is 80% percent there.

THEY NEUTERED THIS DESIGN. Took a baddass car and made it look like something a granny would buy. ANOTHER JELLY BEAN shaped car.
The new design is weak and timid looking, especially the front. There is so much cringe attached to this car. 3 tons with a driver, fake exhaust sound, no V8’s while their competitors still have them. This is going to go down as one of the worst fails ever.
The concept was spot on, mostly. This Looks like a 2012 Mustang Brembo GT, which I also liked quite a bit. Overall it’s cool.
Shame on you Stelantis!
