I’ve been watching carrier videos all Morning. Your loop design is perfect! Thank you for your time. I was feeling blue about missing family’s Thanksgiving and then I had an idea . . . I’m baking an apple pie and meeting up with my son and his new wife to make an exchange- my mother’s (& now mine, too) apple pie for my son’s pumpkin bread. (We’ve lost precious loved ones to covid and don’t want to go through it any more so we’re careful) How much more fun it will be to pass it out the car window in a pretty carrier. Thank you.
I love this so much. As fall approaches, the potluck events become ever popular. This is a great idea for a hostess gift over the holidays, to make for someone you know loves to cook, or for that person who is always cooking for everyone at the office. Sew Yeah guys did it again! Thank you for sharing your ideas and your talents.
Before you make these for others, I would suggest that you make some changes. The scant quarter inch to attach that handle is terrible, and will not reliably hold a heavy dish of food, you need to reinforce that handle with more stitching. I would also suggest that you sew an X in the carrier to "quilt" the 3 layers together because with them all 3 separate like this, it will not wash and dry well, it will be ruined and wadded up after one wash.
As you can see we are behind on the replies. I am trying to catch up and stay that way. I hope you have found the answer to any questions you had and thanks for watching!

That's great for an 8-inch to 9-inch square pan/dish. Will it work for a round or oval casserole? Could you come up with a carrier for a 9x13-inch pan?
That carrier will hold oblong and round. Here is a video that is a better pattern and shows the sizes it will hold too. ruclips.net/video/cFiI5M3-At0/видео.html

The base of the bag is 22" so it is definitely large enough to carry a 9 x 13 pan or even a little larger. You could also adjust the base size if you need something larger. Good luck and happy sewing!
That scant 1/4 seam on that handle to attach it ... NO. That handle needs to be reinforced. Same on those loops. Imagine the disaster of that tiny seam letting go as you carry a casserole into someone's house. Come on fellas, put a little more thought into your projects. Had you sewn an X in the middle to quilt the 3 layers together, this would wash and dry so much better, as this is made it will come out in a big wad. A couple of simple changes would have taken this to a GREAT functional product, as it is it's not.

Not sure if I missed it - did you clip the corners to alleviate bulk to get a sharp corner? Just wondering if it’s a necessary step.

👍😊😊😊Thank you for watching!!!
Is there a way to modify this for a crock pot? I’d love to make myself a crock pot carrier.
As you probably have guessed we are behind in answering comments. Trying to catch up and stay that way. I'm sure you have found the answer by now.
Who taught or inspired you two to get into sewing?

I would like to make for 9X13 casserole; could this work if modified
Absolutely!
What is the biggest casserole dish that will fit this?
The base of the bag is 22" so it is definitely large enough to carry a 9 x 13 pan or even a little larger. You could also adjust the base size if you need something larger. Good luck and happy sewing!
How much bigger for a 9x13
It will fit a 9 x 13 pan no problem! Thanks so much for watching!
