1:36 I have seen those mechanical pencils at 1 Mexican peso (0.50c dollar) and the results are beautiful. If you feel bad about how you write, I still recommend practicing
I've tried it too, as my day job was rough framing. It is more similar to a broad nib and the flat shape is not comfortable in my grip. 6b pencil is awesome and I've stocked up on em' now. Keep Writing✌

I noticed that these pencils are not sharpened to a point right? But rather they are chiseled so that they can have a thin and fatter strokes. M I right?
How do you sharpen the pencil to write like this???? Or what do you do after you sharpen your pencil to shape the pencil in order to just write??? DM me so you don't give it up! Cause I'm thinking your not willing too!! Just put it out there!!??????!!

Any pencil will do. An HB or B grade works quite well, but you don't have to go hunt for one. Use what you have and experiment. Make sure you have a little bit of padding underneath your paper so that it has a little "give". If you use a note book, you already have plenty of padding from the paper underneath.

When I have done calligraphy with pencil I have used a "carpenter's" pencil with is naturally a flat lead. This was a great video.

kristine Kerr it is a polylead pencil. There are chances for you to find it in your local art store. If not, you can find them on amazon.
