@@PaulaS51Jeremy discussed it on his video today and apparently Levy County wouldn't arrest him because he denied doing it and it wasn't on video. So all the supervisor would say was that the investigation is open and it is up to the DA on whether to charge.

This infuriates me! I knew it was dangerous to poke these mentally ill people, but threaten a stranger with a child?! WHY ISN’T HE IN JAIL??

The sign is an invitation to stop and look. Brandishing a weapon especially in front of a child should mean an immediate arrest. (Video or not).
There's a box saying take what you need, which is an invitation to the property but they weren't even on the property they were driving on the public street.
I agree. But they most serious offense is brandishing a fire arm in front of a child let alone adults that were driving by. I understand the investigation is still in progress. I have no doubt the results will put the gun tottering neighbour's will be arrested.
This just makes me cry grandma tears for Wes's sweet little angel hearing how her excitement was turned to fear because of the Godless monsters across the street. My heart goes out to Wes and Patricia having to endure that. Thank you Travis and everyone who came to make sure everyone was safe and ok. I'm very proud to be a WTH and Tube Town family member. People can walk, take pics, film - even if it wasn't a rescue - as long as you're in public space you can image anything you can see without trespassing!
And what do they expect is going to happen? when you have a wooden prayer box setting out at the end of your driveway saying free take What you need? And you get a gun pointing at you because your 8-year-old daughter goes over. and opens the box. and sees that it's empty. This is they shame. Levy County. Police officers need to get out their butts and do their jobs. John Cook should be in jail. Anything happens It's going to fall on them. because they are not doing their jobs.

Of course an 8 yr old having a gun pointed toward their car isn't something she will get over anytime soon and from what was said in Jeremy's video, the friend was pretty upset and questioning why Wes would take them there. Jeremy sent out all of the thank yous to Travis who said he would make things right with the daughter and take the family to Bubba Qs for a proper example of what people are really like in OC.
Any investigation (supposedly innvestigation) update...can only hope your neighbor gets put in jail !!

John cooks antics should be reported to the agency that backs up the turtle rescue. The rescue is not safe for visitors or passerbys. I'm sure the agency does not want to be liable for his actions.

I don't think there is any agency involved with the "rescue". It is a privately owned business. Any complaints would go to Lie-nette and we all know how that would turn out.
What agency? They are the board of directors of their nonprofit. They can be reported to the state attorney general. Media attention is also important

They do have 24 hour. cameras. running. but now they've got it facing Lynette's property. That's a win win. Lynette's grandson and his friend has come. over to Jeremy's property, vandalizing. Jeremy's gonna be taking care of this very soon now too.

It's a sad thing when the sheriff can't protect the citizens in Otter Creek. Their day is coming soon for 3 hots and a cot.
Should arrested them long ago when they had legal standing for an actual charge (when they were witnesses to violating the ppo (George at town hall)).
This is absolutely ridiculous. Anywhere else and the cops would be arresting the gun wielder and dragging him in for questioning. They didn't even want to go talk to him. They have 3 eye witnesses that it happened. Other people have said and shown on video him doing the same and yet the useless cops wont even go there unless they have a "supervisor" The town council should be demanding the sheriff present himself to them immediately and be questioned as to why they aren't being protected.

A tip my hubby & I used to do working out in the head. We’d get terry cloth headbands(sold with sports equip) & put them around our heads right above eyes on forehead. Keeps sweat from pouring into your eyeballs. When it gets soaked - take off, wring out,& put back on.
