A training partner of mine is a 61 year old dude, Kyokushin black belt, well trained, looking way younger, recently punched the lights out of a 25 year old kickboxer, who was training for an upcoming pro fight. Granted it was just a sparring session but don't judge a book by its cover. Especially when the cover has Mike Tyson on it.

The only issue with age is whether Tyson's chin can withstand any shots. With age, your speed and power don't decline much ... the reflexes maybe dwindle some but the biggie is being able to withstand a good crack to the chin.

I still have a lot of faith in Mike and think he can get the job done, but the size difference especially in the biceps is concerning. Mike used to be a lot bigger when he was knocking out massive heavyweights. His mass was significant. Now the face off is almost reminiscent of Jake Paul vs Ben Askren. But I hope Mike pulls it off. Modern supplementation and training could be enough to help him win the fight.
