Right? I had fury winning rounds 3,4,5,6 ... that's it, usyk won 8 rounds and scored a knockdown, which should have been a fight ender BTW, fury never flung a punch or defended himself for 21 seconds and had the ropes save him 5 times, so either score the knockdown the first time the ropes keep him up which means usyk would have probably finished him, or end the fight because he ain't defending himself

I agree with the original comment to this post. Was very impressed with the quality & caliber of this fight from both guys. I felt Usyk clearly did enough to get a Win but I told my dad "Watch they will give it to Fury" it seemed I was right but Thank God Usyk won. Insane how he only won by 1 point on 1 judges card! That's insane how close they were to Robbing Usyk. I really liked seeing the sportsmanship after the fight BUT then fury complained about the decision (that's fine they are instantly doing the rematch) but then it sounded like he was going to express respect & compassion towards Ukraine & how it's being invaded by Russia BUT he then flipped it and used it to come up with a excuse as to why he lost because people felt compassion for Usyk. That's such utter BS! THEN after all that did anyone else see those posts and reports of "Usyk not doing a post fight interview because he went to the hospital with a broken jaw" Okay... Then how did Usyk end up doing a post fight interview. Addressed the lies and proving all that BS was utter Lies that some higher ups spread.. I just hate all this extra nonsense that they've attached to Boxing. Besides all of that. It was a great fight lol

More punches thrown , more heavy punches connected . Usyk was 40 pounds lighter and 6 inches smaller with 10 inch reach disadvantage and still won , Usyk said he would be on him from the start . Usyk proved he is the best fighter of this generation. Fury would play to the crowd hitting himself we know what he’s doing . Usyk was great . Well done to the. Champion . @@simmytom7684He didn’t come back and I never had him down 5-2, Usyk gameplan was to stay on front foot and push the pace, and that included walking through the fire and taking shots and losing rounds to get Fury to empty his clip, this is the “Real rope a dope” that Ali beat Foreman with. It was psychological. Like Foreman, Fury undoubtedly thought he had the fight in the bag after round 6 so when he saw Usyk come out bouncing again in round 7 he knew he had fucced up and it was a matter of time until Usyk capitalized and put him down.
I never had a doubt even when it looked bad I said until I see Usyk actually get put down, I’m not gonna worry about him being hurt.

In regards to your P4P thoughts, the one thing that has to be considered in heavyweight is the lack of a weight cap. To a degree, heavyweight fights have to count for a bit more in the calculation. Obviously smaller fighters move up in weight classes which is similar, but the question is do they move enough weight classes to fight someone 60lb heavier than their original fighting weight (like Usyk has with Fury).

No way. Usyk won the first 3 rounds. The corrupt judges may have scored it that way but they were chosen for a reason and that was to setup Fury vs Joshua.
This was an 8-4 fight imo with rounds 7 and 12 being swing rounds. If you split them, it's an 8-4 fight.

Tyson 100% could have won if he took it as seriously as Usyk did. He spent way too much time and energy trying to clown on Usyk and play his little games in the ring. Losing focus is always what gets Fury in trouble in his fights and he never learns from it. He said during the post-fight conference that if he had been told he was behind he would've gone out there and put Usyk down, he should be trying to do that from the get-go instead of playing with his food. The right man won, Usyk deserved it

I don’t blame the referee for not stopping it
It was one of the biggest heavy weight fights ever with millions invested
So ofc the ref will let try let it play out
And even though fury was clearly rocked he was still standing not like he was out cold on the floor and the ref waited for him to wake up
But with that much money invested not surprised the ref let it carry on
And also you can say it should of been stopped but fury came back and fought till the end so the ref was right to let fury carry on

Fury was concussed at the end of the fight. Fury did correct himself in the post fight conference he said the Better Man won it's only obvious he was concussed if the man is saying Happy New Year lol. Usyk is p4p number one 💯 Fury won 2th 4th 5th 6th 7th if he wasn't showboating was more disciplined it could have been a shut out! But that's where you have to give credit to usyk for making the adjustments he'll go down in history he had a harder job than any other Fighters that are Undisputed 2x with the size difference that's why he has to be at number one p4p💯

I had the fight 115-112 or 114-13 to usyk at best when i watched it live. i have just rewatched the fight, breaking everything down, slow mo on most of the exchanges, and i actually now have it 116-111 to usyk, or 115-112 at best. plus, this is all not considering the fact that usyk was robbed of a stoppage on the 9th. after rewatching the fight, it was not even close to be honest. the rounds were definitely close, but if you really pay attention to which shots connected, you get to see which rounds both fighers really won, and when the numbers are tallied up, it's simply not close. then if you considered the stoppage robbery, it's a done deal. lol.
