Haha..... Round 9, as Fury's trouble began, 1) the ref started running around to get to Usyk's left, physically crowding Usyk's power arm... 2) Usyk was blocked by the ref on loading up on at least three right crosses, 3) the ref had his hands on Usyk's right hand/arm twice while Usyk was spinning Fury from rope to rope, 4) as Fury was heavily staggered hanging on the ropes, the ref jumped in pausing the fight and blocking Usyk from launching a clean, fight-ending cross to Fury's exposed head.... 5) the ref then drew out un-needed time to manage getting Usyk to his corner.... 6) the ref then went back to find Fury.... 7) the ref then gave Fury a robust 14 second 10-count.... and, 8) all of the ref's activities held up the fight long enough to get Fury within spitting distance of the end of the round..... 9) and save Fury from the KO.

The ropes held him up. It is a rule that is not exercised enough but is still a rule within boxing. If you listen, the official out of the ring start the count before the ref. They did all they could to help Fury but you cannot blame the ref
You can critique boxing for the best of the best avoiding hard fights and then also feel like that. That kind of behavior stopped usyk and fury from even fighting in the first place
Of course Bricktop had Fury winning the fight, he is his promoter/salesman. Even if the ref had allowed Usyk to finish Furry in the 9th then Bricktop would still have claimed it was a draw.
I think people overlook what Usyk does in-between his punches. He's CONSTANTLY bobbing and weaving and fainting and it exhausts his opponent midway through a fight....then he just turns the screw then
I would love to see a breakdown of Tyson Fury’s fouls in this fight, and how the ref just motioned to ‘carry on’ when usyk complained about them ? It must have seemed to Usyk like he was up against both of them in there.
Fair play he's wanting the rematch because when a man's took your belt and knocked you 5 months into the past you'd atleast have to question do I even want another go
Two great men, two best heavyweights. The rematch will be a classic. Usyk fans saying don't take the rematch are confusing...Usyk will make 60+ million and could stop Fury. But Fury will be much better. Usyk needs to be 101% again.
Everyone keeps saying Usyk was robbed off the knockout. How many times have we seen Fury bounce back from unexpected situations. From losing all that weight to be in fighting shape, to climbing off the canvas in the first Wilder fight. Anyone who knows Tyson Fury, knows his ability to bounce back from hell. And he even did to some extent. He won the 12th round on every judges card. I don’t think Usyk was robbed from the knockout.
Now Fury knows that Usyk can knock him out. It will be always in back of his mind and he will perform even worse. Second guessing himself if i am get caught again with a counter punch. So i guess Usyk will force knockout. He took his best shots and didnt bother much. He has the heart of Marvin Hagler, Feet of Lomachenko, Chin of GGG and a stamina of Usyk because i cant recall anyone as a boxing fan watching boxing since 18 years very closely. One of a kind. I am happy to witness this.
Did that make him perform worse against Wilder? Of course not, he only performed better, and even in this Usyk fight he was coming back strong in later rounds. If anything now he knows that he will be much less cocky, and much more on guard, but I think the bigger issue is if Fury is hungry enough anymore for it. We will see in the coming months how and if he is able to respond to the challenge of his first loss.
@@jonathanhockey9943don’t wanna hear about if he’s still Hungry, that’s just a Losers Excuse. Let’s keep the Same Energy. Fury has to Hope to Hurt Usyk with Uppercuts, Possibly Use his Weight on Usyk to wear out and beat Usyk.
Something is telling me there's not going to be a rematch. IMHO, Fury is done. The best thing to him is have doctors say he's suck and cannot fight. End of story. As for Usik he already proved everything to everyone.
I wouldn't be surprised if the rematch is more one-sided by Usyk. Fury just doesn't seem like he's got a good idea on how to beat Usyk. Usyk could win by KO next time around.
It all depends on if he gets hurt like he did in rd9. Once his nose started bleeding, his output went down drastically. If that didn't happen the fight would've been close, or possibly Fury would've cruised to victory.
There's also audio from tysons corner throughout the fight on sky sports, and you hear the ref saying "your looking good out there tyson" which is an odd thing to say when your being impartial 🤨
McGregor/Mayweather 1/2B$ garbage, don't stop it until someone is flat out, not even HWs and that bad. Oct 28th robbery etc made me think Usyk needs a TKO to win. Banana Split Decision, unreal!
Brilliant commentary, I’ve reasoned the same thing, Usyk totally stalked him and figured him out from the first second, and managed the game to the end. This earned my sub
“I definitely won… he’s hurt!… I’m not concussed at all… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!” Joking aside, I think Fury was concussed and we can’t hold it against him that he wasn’t making sense in the moment
@@frostiestcaptain5620 Yes he landed the shot but if you watched carefully Usyk reflexes made him leaned backwards to take the sting away from the shot. Ngannou took that same shot full on his chin. Lmao 😂
@@keepitsimple313 I dunno, for Usyk I think that it was too little too late on that reflex. AJ just preferred to admire his work rather than follow up. Usyk's skeleton is made of pure determination.
I don’t know if I’m right about this or not but I don’t understand why Usyk has such underrated power. That’s definitely not his best attribute but we’ve never seen Fury get into that kind of trouble from one punch. He was totally gone for!
Given the fact Fury’s right knee was not on the deck, the ref shouldn’t have stepped in. I see Fury’s situation as heavily leaning on the ropes, not being completely held up by them. He gave him a 14 second count too. I reckon he’ll be invited round Fury’s home for dinner one day.
@@Rebel-IV How many boxing matches have you seen with the boxer in trouble leaning heavily on the ropes? The rule is to protect concussed boxers dangling on the ropes and from being hit, not someone in trouble heavily leaning against them. That’s the point in that rule.
He cannot loose anything, the ref will also punch Usyk this time, not just stop him, the scorekeepers will be super rigged and they will gie the match to Fury. I hope I am wrong, but this is not good.
Spot on. Andy lee did not want tyson to get desperate and leave himself open for a TKO.. He knew at the moment that Tyson was psychologically demoralised. He was hoping for a miracle from the judges.
@@yinkalana4751to be fair he said you win these two rounds you won the fight, he also said before the 12th you need this round, tyson said nobody told him he was losing the fight and would have went for it, think there were too many voices talking at once for it to register, don't think it would have made any difference though.
You’re the man! Great video, and for as long as he has John in his corner he’ll be unable to make any significant adjustments to win against someone who has had a totally flawless work ethic from day one. They’re worlds apart imo
It’s mind blowing how fury learned absolutely nothing from Usyk - AJ fights. First, he makes the very same mistake and decided to box with Usyk instead try to rough Usyk up and bully him. And after loosing, he makes the second same mistake- activates a rematch… It would be the same outcome or even worse for fury.
@@SamualWilson-sw1zjseems you didn't watch the first one. Usyk battered fury, 9-3. Same again if they rematch. Usyk is sublime and no amount of Fury nut hugging or wild boar meat is going to make him as good as Usyk.
Loved this video. You Really explained the scorecard through visual representations and commentary. Great stuff and you are on team Usyk which makes the video even better.
He’s not at all, Usyk is just the best HW of this era and it’s been solidly proven now. That version of Fury last Saturday would have slaughtered pretty much everybody else in the division. Usyk is the king of this era of heavyweights, and it’s not even close.
Tyson would have fallen were in not for the ropes. Boxing is not MMA. When someone is down, or being held up by the ropes, it is the equivalent of knock down. You cannot keep hitting someone who is 'down' in boxing. The referee did exactly the right thing, Fury got what he should have got, a standing count.
Rematch Clause Officially Activated!!! There are people saying what’s the point Usyk wins again and I couldn’t disagree more! They had fury as the favourite going in to the 1st fight. And the judges score cards and punch stats show there was only one point in it. if you look at every rematch fury has ever had he improved his performances. Fury done a better job against Usyk than AJ… Fury actually tried to win the fight lol. Also Fury gave Usyk the toughest test of his career by a long way. So I still think it’s a 50/50 going in to a rematch, there’s no reason why fury couldn’t get a win next time around. The People saying they don’t want the rematch make no sense… who’s Usyk supposed to fight instead Wilder, Parker, Joyce, Ruiz, Zhang… we start getting the best vs the best for once and people start complaining that they would rather Usyk take an easier fight 😂😂😂 when did society get this way 🤦♂️
I agree. I was an Usyk supporter but I genuinely believed Fury was going to get him out of there at one point. Ive never seen anybody come close to looking like they have Usyks number like Fury did in the middle rounds. The game plan for Usyk is right there now. I think its still a 50/50 fight. No fight out there right now is more exciting prospect than seeing these two again, besides AJ Fury possibly.
Yeah but that was the best fury’s looked in years and when usyk finally figured him out in round 8 he was outboxing him and timing him and turned it up another gear
Fury has less chance next time around and I’ll explain why. Usyk fight a basic plan every time and his opponents have all said this. He figures you out in the first few rounds then pushes you about with his movement and out ridiculous pressure on you for a few rounds making you tired and he conserves energy, he the. Ups a fear in 8-9 and takes you to the trenches. They all day it. Bellow couldn’t believe, he was a head in points but was exhausted fighting for his life then usyk went up a gear and it’s over. Fury can not do anything to stop usyk now, usyk doesn’t need those few rounds to figure fury out. Same as the second AJ fight, AJ done everything better than the first and came out worse

8:30 Come on Brian, the refs job in that moment is too protect the safety of the vulnerable fighter which in this case was Fury. He is clearly deciding what to do as Fury was not going down but stumbling all over the place, its easy to say now he should've stopped the fight in the spur of the moment, knowing what Fury is capable of and all the money and pressure involved in an Undisputed heavyweight fight we can't blame the ref for this one.

He hit the ropes on his way down, that's classed as a knockdown ref was right to jump in and begin the count, was late starting count though ..
@@Cartlarr And all the time in the world after the count. If that was the other way around or any other fight there would be no doubt he would have stopped it. At least he can sleep well with a decent bung in his back pocket. Lets hope we never hear of him ever again
World championship 💪🏆
The ropes held him up. It is a rule that is not exercised enough but is still a rule within boxing. If you listen, the official out of the ring start the count before the ref. They did all they could to help Fury but you cannot blame the ref
I want Usyk to retire. Why risk a loss on such a legendary career? You’ve proven you’re the best of this era.
He’s gonna smoke fury again while making generational money
You can critique boxing for the best of the best avoiding hard fights and then also feel like that. That kind of behavior stopped usyk and fury from even fighting in the first place
Would be hilarious if Usyk does Fury like Fury did Wlad. He won't but it would hilarious.
Usyk ain't retiring. He is a professional and knows his body can still take it. He would beat fury twice
Tyson risked it now every1 calling him a hype job. So what if fury beats him in rematch who’s best in the era then?
Frank Warren had Tyson winning the fight…. The geezer is so lost in the clouds……… 😂😂😂
That's what happens when you're around Fury.
same with Bob Arum - nuts.
Of course Bricktop had Fury winning the fight, he is his promoter/salesman. Even if the ref had allowed Usyk to finish Furry in the 9th then Bricktop would still have claimed it was a draw.
@@1972Georges he's 100 so he has an excuse 😅
Usyk won by a couple. Still a close fight.
This is such a good channel. Well done mate!
First time viewer, impressed with your analysis, instant subscriber. Thank you .

Merry Christmas, Brian. 🥳👊😘
Absolutely “A Worthy Champion!” Just as you said. I loved watching this. Thank you for sharing.
Most strait forward/honest vlogger on RUclips.
Fury just wants Usyk to knock him back into present day that's why he triggered the rematch 😂
I don't think Fury can turn it over. 8 rounds to 4 is a huge gap and no immediate adjustment will change the outcome in the rematch.
Fortunately for Fury judges exist.
@@therebel4332 Especially now that Usyk had 12 rounds with him.
Joshua did worse and got a rematch😂
You guys have no idea what the fuck you're talking about😂
If there is a rematch, at least team Usyk can control against corrupt judges and referees
This was a brilliant breakdown of the fight 😊
🤣Fury vs AJ, Wilder vs AJ never happened, what a shame.
Probably right on that
💯🎯
I wouldn't be surprised if the rematch is more one-sided by Usyk. Fury just doesn't seem like he's got a good idea on how to beat Usyk. Usyk could win by KO next time around.
I'd be surprised if it actually happens, we've had so much nonsense from Fury I simply don't trust the man at his word anymore.
@@johnmichaelson9173 Couldn't disagree more, Fury's ego has been rattled by this defeat. He'll want a rematch.
It all depends on if he gets hurt like he did in rd9. Once his nose started bleeding, his output went down drastically. If that didn't happen the fight would've been close, or possibly Fury would've cruised to victory.
@@freestyla85 Shoulda, coulda woulda.
Gordie is relishing Furys loss
Hey....Geordie Geez....EXCELLENT review of the fight. Well done mate. Spot on.
There's also audio from tysons corner throughout the fight on sky sports, and you hear the ref saying "your looking good out there tyson" which is an odd thing to say when your being impartial 🤨
Imagine if Usyk does what Fury did to Klitscho
Haha like usyk gets fat and drinks a bunch. Honestly that would be hilarious
brilliant.
That would be hilarious 😅
Usyk won’t fail drug tests and turn it to a fat mess.
Usyk won’t fail drug tests and turn in to a fat mess.
Still can’t believe that wasn’t stopped in the 9th!! Any other fight on planet earth gets stopped.
McGregor/Mayweather 1/2B$ garbage, don't stop it until someone is flat out, not even HWs and that bad. Oct 28th robbery etc made me think Usyk needs a TKO to win. Banana Split Decision, unreal!
It’s an undisputed fight there more on the line than most fights that’s why they carry it in
Well said big man new subscriber. Why do we take everything to heart
Brilliant commentary, I’ve reasoned the same thing, Usyk totally stalked him and figured him out from the first second, and managed the game to the end. This earned my sub
if fury wants to have a chance in the rematch he has to accept that he lost
“I definitely won… he’s hurt!… I’m not concussed at all… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!” Joking aside, I think Fury was concussed and we can’t hold it against him that he wasn’t making sense in the moment
He’s also thick as fuck even when he’s not concussed so… 😂
Fury’s uppercut landed way better on Usyk than it did Whyte and Whyte was all over the place
AJ literally landed the same punch on Usyk he did Ngannou and had Usyk on BAD legs. Usyk still didn't go anywhere.
Best chin in the division
@@frostiestcaptain5620
Yes he landed the shot but if you watched carefully Usyk reflexes made him leaned backwards to take the sting away from the shot.
Ngannou took that same shot full on his chin. Lmao 😂
@@keepitsimple313 I dunno, for Usyk I think that it was too little too late on that reflex. AJ just preferred to admire his work rather than follow up. Usyk's skeleton is made of pure determination.
Not true at all.
much better reaction - loved the fight breakdown thanks
I don’t know if I’m right about this or not but I don’t understand why Usyk has such underrated power. That’s definitely not his best attribute but we’ve never seen Fury get into that kind of trouble from one punch. He was totally gone for!
Absolutely spot on agin! Your getting really good at this TG good work 👍
True Geordie breakdowns and analysis are the best
I’m an usyk fan sorry usyk didn’t win both 11 and 12 the way he didn’t even show it 😂
He can activate it all he wants the rematch won’t happen. He got forced and corned to give us the first fight. I want to see AJ vs Fury now.
Fury wins the rematch.
He will rob Usyk, the boxing establishment wants Fury at the top

@MrKazanova69 what's wrong with people like you? Even Usyk would disagree with you.
@@slaves329.😂based on what?
This commentary is excellent! Thank you Teddy 🙏
Totallt agree regarding the ref, that wasn’t a knock down he was protecting Tyson. Thank you for saying the things that no one else wants to say!
Keep being You! We love it brother! I laughed my ass of watching your the reaction to the fight😂
He would’ve knocked him clean out if Ref wasn’t so bad, he would’ve continued battering Fury and Fury would’ve just been spark out on the floor
He'll be getting regular (anonymous) Christmas cards packed with cash.
@@jpx1508 ... in july
If the ropes weren't there...would he still be standing on his own?? That's the whole point.
Even so the ref was dodgy interfering
@@Rebel-IV How many boxing matches have you seen with the boxer in trouble leaning heavily on the ropes? The rule is to protect concussed boxers dangling on the ropes and from being hit, not someone in trouble heavily leaning against them. That’s the point in that rule.
Based on this alleged rule the rumble in the jungle would have been stopped .
Great vid!
All i know is i want to see it again! Thanks for the vids bro.
The ref even helped Fury to his corner.
@MrKazanova69Exactly. Usyk has to whoop fury badly again or ko him because usyk just about winning would be a fury win in the judges eyes.
Happy new year!
Happy New Year!!!!!
Very interesting analysis. Great stuff as always from this channel. 👍
If they don’t do the rematch in Europe with a passionate crowd and some atmosphere, their legacy will be tarnished among proper boxing people and fans
Should've been a TKO or allowed him usyk to continue to knockout 💯
Activating a rematch is the worst mistake fury can do!!
Fury got nothing to lose now
It isnt. Nobody cares if you lose twice to the same guy. He has nothing to lose and the pressure is on usyk in the rematch
Lol, come on man, come on. Listen a little less to True Geordie and watch round by round and not just round 9, round 9 is tinting the entire fight.
He cannot loose anything, the ref will also punch Usyk this time, not just stop him, the scorekeepers will be super rigged and they will gie the match to Fury. I hope I am wrong, but this is not good.
@@harisabram4767fury won 4 rounds. Judges were trying so hard to rob Usyk. Stats prove this to be the reality

True Geordie’s a wind up, and I love it! 😂
WTF was Andy Lee saying, “you’ve won the fight”. (Tbf it never occurred to me that they could have been protecting him)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
And a happy new year!
The thing I love about Usyk is the fact he boxes like it’s a chess game, every move is preplanned.
He is a genius in the ring
You’re the man! Great video, and for as long as he has John in his corner he’ll be unable to make any significant adjustments to win against someone who has had a totally flawless work ethic from day one. They’re worlds apart imo
Happy New Year!
It’s mind blowing how fury learned absolutely nothing from Usyk - AJ fights. First, he makes the very same mistake and decided to box with Usyk instead try to rough Usyk up and bully him. And after loosing, he makes the second same mistake- activates a rematch…
It would be the same outcome or even worse for fury.
Spoken like a real casual 😅
@@SamualWilson-sw1zjseems you didn't watch the first one. Usyk battered fury, 9-3. Same again if they rematch. Usyk is sublime and no amount of Fury nut hugging or wild boar meat is going to make him as good as Usyk.
Fury damaged Usyk more than first AJ fight though. And AJ performed way better in second fight.

Couldn’t be more impressed with Usyk… the press conference after the fight had a tear in my eye. He comes across as a really decent kind human.
Loved this video. You Really explained the scorecard through visual representations and commentary. Great stuff and you are on team Usyk which makes the video even better.
Fury's just as shot as Wilder.
He’s not at all, Usyk is just the best HW of this era and it’s been solidly proven now. That version of Fury last Saturday would have slaughtered pretty much everybody else in the division. Usyk is the king of this era of heavyweights, and it’s not even close.

Fury in October: happy black history month
Tyson would have fallen were in not for the ropes. Boxing is not MMA. When someone is down, or being held up by the ropes, it is the equivalent of knock down. You cannot keep hitting someone who is 'down' in boxing. The referee did exactly the right thing, Fury got what he should have got, a standing count.
Awesome break down Geordie
People don’t realise you can get a standing count??? The ref done the right thing imo
Exactly. I'm an Usyk fan and I despise Fury as a human being, but the ref absolutely had it bang on...untill the slow motion count
True, if anything then the rule is stupid, not the ref.
The People saying they don’t want the rematch make no sense… who’s Usyk supposed to fight instead Wilder, Parker, Joyce, Ruiz, Zhang… we start getting the best vs the best for once and people start complaining that they would rather Usyk take an easier fight 😂😂😂 when did society get this way 🤦♂️
I think you'll find Bredis gave Usyk his toughest night.

Everything has to be a scandal, especially in boxing. Ref made the right call.
u either call knock down when boxer lying on ropes as a result of being hit or stop fight "to protect the safety of vulnerable fighter" as you put it.
