A lot of MMA guys got carried away with Francis boxing ability after one fight with a lack lustre Fury who in my opinion totally underestimated him, and didn’t give him the respect he was due. Fury let the boxing community down by not taking the matter in hand seriously. This crossover thing is a farce, MMA fighters can’t box and boxers can’t fight in the octagon, it has to stop and each stay in their lane. Congratulations to AJ he was phenomenal.
TG fell for the MMA hype also. I’ve never heard TG predictions ever coming close to anything. Francis can hit a pad harder than anyone but pads don’t hit back
I think Francis Ngannou did great for a two time boxer. Knocked Fury down regardless of excuses, went the distance every round and was not knocked down. Then faced AJ in his prime and got humbled. Ngannou is a great fighter. He's made his money and learned lessons along the way. I also like that rather than ducking any fights. Ngannou showed up. That takes heart coming in as an underdog. I look forward to Ngannou's next chapter in fighting.
@@pureblood8307Francis can also hit other fighters very hard in MMA which is his more dominant area of fighting. One loss definitely won't erase that unless folks are just fishing for reasons to hate.

A lot of people getting hyped about Fury vs Uysk & potentially AJ vs Fury but we have already witnessed the best 2 in the division fight each other. When AJ fought Uysk that was the pinnacle of the current era of Heavyweights and nobody can tell me otherwise.
Yup! Have been saying this all along. Fury had all the accolades to be great but he’s just made a botch job of his career. Doesn’t have the commitment and has manipulated the game and his fans to his own advantage.

I appreciate that you've always consistently supported Ngannou, Brian. Some people are now saying that they feel fooled/conned by Ngannou, they were sold a dream and expected him to win. Ngannou didn't fool or con anyone. All he did was put on the best boxing debut of all time against the Heavyweight Champ, and then people drew their own conclusions from there. However, they failed to realise that heavyweight boxing can be very unpredictable, nevermind when one of the guys specialises in MMA and the other in boxing. Ngannou didn't con anyone.
AJ is such a well-rounded boxer puncher. He has devastating, explosive power with rapid speed and unparalleled athletic ability. Not to mention his adept boxing ability.
Another point worth noting: activity is good. Parker and AJ have been tremendously active over the last couple of years, and it showed in their performances.
That was the most brutal knockout I’ve ever seen in boxing. That knockout will be on every front news page for now. AJ’s stock, momentum and confidence has skyrocketed.
You don’t actually think the Wilder in the first two fights v Fury was the same one that took on Parker do you? 4 and 5 years difference? One round in two years?
AJ's commitment to self-improvement, characterized by his quiet diligence, sets him apart from others. Despite his numerous victories, he remains grounded and humble, refraining from exaggeration. His graciousness extends even to his opponents, whom he encourages and learns from, particularly in moments of defeat.

I can't wait to see Usyk box Fury's head off and possibly even stop him in the later rounds. The worst thing about Francis is that he knew nothing about slipping and moving. The guy's head was stationary and he took the full brunt of the force of Joshua's punch. It's like the dude had never boxed a day in his life. Even when Joshua was setting up his shots, Francis was just pawing and biting on his feints. And had the look of a deer in headlights when Joshua was about to crack him. Like a damn school kid who's about to meet the principal. LOL
Well spoken Geordie, what you articulated was what I was thinking particularly about Fury. AJ has shown what he's made of and I'm very happy for AJ. I am looking so forward to the Fury/Uysk fight, we will get a picture of what Fury is made of. Can he show fortitude and determination? Bringing in Ben Davidson in, It actually shows how much of AJ's game is mental, and how good of a psychological coach Ben Davidson is (Remember he did the same with Tyson Fury). A very smart move on AJ's part. It's also good to see AJ's got little bit of the spite back that he'd lost.

I don’t really agree. Bringing in Ben and Lee helps because they’re spending hours just in general breaking down film to the smallest details. Obviously Ben has still experienced loss as a coach but he’s super analytical on top of that he’s young so he can easily relate to a fury or Joshua. I feel we blow AJ’s mental state out of proportion
This just proves there's a reason Fury didn't want the AJ fight. Styles makes fights
