How to Crochet a Washcloth

In this video I demonstrate how to crochet a dishcloth/washcloth. It's perfect for facial cleansing, adding in as a gift with some homemade bar soap or a fancy pump soap.
I used 100% cotton yarn and a G6-4.25mm crochet hook.

For Row 3, the single crochet, chain, skip, repeat:: are you going into 'spaces' or in the single crochet?

I have a question. Normally you chain 1 after you go through the back loops. However, on the last one you did not. You just chained one and turned your work around. May I ask why?!

I really wanted to love this pattern but it took me over an hour to get through row 2. I even tried going up 2 hook sizes for the chain to try to keep it looser. Your videos are very enjoyable to watch, but I'm not enjoying working on this project. Thank you for sharing you beautiful projects. Maybe I'll have better luck with one of your other projects

This washcloth looks awfully dense. Maybe better as a potholder rather than a wash/dishcloth?
