      Thanks! It definitely gets easier with practice. However . . . what you didn't see is the edited out attempts when the feathers weren't quite straight or were a little uneven.

      Yes, it's been around a while! The fish still like it and the techniques used to tie it are used on a huge variety of other flies.

    Will this pattern work if it is in different colors as well?

      Yes it will. It also works great with lead or beadchain eyes. We sell a pattern called the Deep Silhouette which is just a Seaducer with lead eyes.
