I have purchased this from ATS (stage 5) complete kit. It is what they are marketing, exactly! I own a 2019 Ram 3500 and it was worth every dime!!!! Thank you Clint and the Ats team for the excellent product and professionalism that I received during the entire process. Fuel economy did remain the same if not a tad better. This has been by far the best modification ever on any vehicle I have owned.
@@Ishmaell711 Mine typically run low to mid 160 degrees. It has gotten to 180 degrees but was traveling uphill really slow eith the torque converter unlocked. Once it locked back it fell rather quickly. It is completely different truck towing. Almost like a manual the way it tries to hold the current gear till the last possible moment before downshifting. It allows the inline 6 to really get in a dig and strut its stuff. I am super impressed!
How many miles do you have on the transmission now? I had the swap done as well and it unlocks constantly when cruising. Honestly wish I stayed with the 68
@@josephbumpus932 I have roughly around 3k on it. I changed all my shift point using EFI Live due to the issues you mentioned. ATS will change the shift points and send you a file to flash into it. I really love the trans and it was the best decision I ever made. The shift point change made the transmission a different animal.
Thank you ATS and team. If the Aisin ever goes out, this will most likely be the update. True, the Aisin in my 17' 3500 dually is clunky but I love the lower 1st gear with 4.10 gear sets...torque baby!!
When my 68rfe goes in my 2017 3500 Cummins, i will be installing this. 100,000 on it and all good so far. I won't be spending any money on repairing it when i know this permanent fix is available.
What's the warranty like for the electronics? If ATS does my full install, do I get any warranty for the translator and any other electronic gadgets that are needed to make this work? Thank you!
When you buy modified product, if anything goes south you at mercy of the supplier. If you stick with oem, anything goes south then anyone fix it and parts available from anywhere
How much of a pain would it be to convert a 2008 G56 manual 6.7 cummins to an allison? I would think there is a interface I could mount on the dash to change the transmission gears
Hey we are rebuilding a 5.9 Cummins ( cummins factory not dodge Cummins) we want to put into a sweat 78 Ford. What to do for a tranny is still up in the air. We have to duramax trucks w bad engines good transmission is there anyway to use them behind the 5.9 in a custom ranch built truck? Thanks ⚓️
We had not fully developed the 5.9 kit at this time and as the ad mentions, the 5.9 kits would be coming soon. Currently we are a few weeks away from our full release on these for the 1998.5-2002 and 2003-2007 trucks and the early 12v will follow after. We have been installing these here in house over the last year getting these dialed in so stay tuned.

I got a 2011 ram 2500 6.7 4wd megacab turbo diesel. Is it worth switching out mine for it even though I'm having no problem with mine now? I would really like to have one put in mine because I know the Allison transmission is great, and I wished that Ram had them. What is the cost of one for my truck? I know a few thousand but I would like an actual price so I can start putting money aside for one.
Anyone done this conversion? Whats the longevity of this conversion? I have a 2012 that I want to do a transmission replacement like this down the road.
We have over 500 kits on the road. The expectation with the Allison is to last way longer than your 68RFE or AISIN. Of course, as with any moving part, over time, parts will wear out and need to be rebuilt however just in case, we do offer our ATS Exclusive 5yr/500k Warranty on all of our Conversions.
sorry i have 2 weird question's here....#1 would this transmission work with this engine ->ruclips.net/video/0stkAoP1nr0/видео.htmlsi=mDWmAmuyyN82nRmT would it be able to handle it? #2 it look like this transmission has pto ports esp on both side if i not mistaken? would it be possible to mount 2 pto thingy's 1 pto on both sides of the transmission

Yes we can for the 2022 - Current trucks with the AISIN only right now. The reason being is that the EMC on the 22+ trucks is locked and we are not able to provide a flash to tell the truck its running an AISIN file. We are working on this so stay tuned.

Same. Mine has the ATS compound turbo setup and deleted....but have not purchased a travel trailer yet.
Any future videos on 5.9 Cummins/Allison conversion with the new bellhousing?

What is the price for the Allison ready to hook up to my dodge 2500 6.7
Where is your shop located? Do y’all switch them out?
need to make a video showing a 5.9

@logancatledge8808 the website for the one here in sc brand new is 5k. That sounds like somebody's tryin to pull a nuclear sub
Maybe one day when I can afford it or when the transmission on my Cummins starts to act up which is only a matter of time with the Rams.

Why not the 10 speed like a modern duramax
Probably want something that has been proven reliable in the long run
The 10 speed is not an Allison. It was a joint venture between Ford and gm
