  • Alan drives for a living. So every modification he makes to his 2018 RAM 3500 6.7L High Output must either add power, increase fuel economy, or both. Recently, the Texan turned to Banks for performance parts for the blue dually. But he didn't just add an intake or exhaust, he went full-tilt and added every part available. Here's his review.
Parts included in Alan's build can be found here:
    Ram-Air cold air intake
Monster Ram Gen 2 intake manifold with high flow heater
5" Monster Exhaust with chrome-plated stainless steel SideKick tip
Intercooler system with high-flow boost tubes
    Ram-Air rear differential cover
    PedalMonster throttle booster

Usually if I try to squeeze into one spot with my dually, it makes the doors of vehicles facing me on both sides inaccessible. I just park way at the back anyway. Easy. Walking 30 yards is never the end of the world, and I consider it a small inconvenience of having a big truck in a parking lot designed for cars. Mine is a work truck, but even if I didn't need it I'd still have a big 3/4 srw anyway.

If you get out of Cali & into another state that doesn’t require emissions testing. A state that only checks emissions or an inspection every time ownership is changed you can get away with a stealth DPF delete by just running a tube in the center of the DPF or just doing what people did to pre-DPF diesels that came with a cat but never got tested/they would just make a hole in the center of the cat.
A DPF delete is easy to do, now getting it to pass emissions is the tricky part. Depends on ur state.

He is stating he was getting terrible mileage and only after installing the banks equipment the truck mpg increased 60% to 100%. This means his truck had an issue which was resolved with the banks equipment install but was not required. He simply could have fixed the problem with the OEM equipment. Basically this guy is saying he was getting terrible mileage and a miracle happened when he installed the banks equipment. If he was getting 20 mpg his mileage didn't go to up 32 to 40 mpg after installing banks. If this were true everyone would be driving diesel trucks with banks equipment.

I would like to hear Banks input on the CP4 high pressure fuel pump and the design flaw that allows the roller cam followers to rotate and dig metal contaminating the entire fuel system with metal. The CP4 is used on 2011 to current 6.7 Powerstrokes, 2019-2020 Cummins 6.7, and was used on 2011 to 2016 LML Duramax. RAM had serious issues (pending law suits) and has gone back to the CP3, Ford has major issues and blames fuel (customer is forced to pay 12k to fix) and GM has and is being sued over it. The L5P Duramax 2017 to present uses the Denso pump. Check out S&S Fuel's videos on this pump. What does Banks have to say about all of this?

Ha, I had a wanna be “diesel shop” try to tell me the issue is in the lift pumps not the cp4
