After 30,000+ rounds fired with 5 mags I can confirm that bullet lube, (wax) is the main concern in the mag where the follower rides. You can actually feel it start to hang up. Keep the build up to a minimum and these magazines are flawless. Keep up the good work, having a lot of fun with my elite rifle and micro pistol!
@Jeremy Marshall Out of the 5 original mags 4 are still going strong at around 60k+ rounds cycled. The 5th mag met an early demise due to my stupidity, it got crushed :(
@Jeremy Marshall Very reliable other than the usual 22lr ammo related issues. Keep the mags reasonably clean and it'll run. My biggest complaints with the 15-22 is the stability of the barrel in polymer upper, breaking firing pins at 13-15,000 rounds and mag lips wearing out after awhile. All these issues have been addressed in the tippmanns in my opinion.
Hi I bought your excellent rifle, good job! But cleaning with a rod is horrible, the rod get scratches from the ectractor, please make a video how to clean the barrel properly. Thanks best regards Norman
I think the 10 rnd mag is the same as the 25, looks like it should have a lot more travel when fully loaded. Is the only difference just a stop on the inside? I live in Kentucky and hate that I have a 10 rnd mag lol
Do you have any experience with 'fluid film,' and would yall suggest using that? It leaves a nice film behind, after lightly wiped away and i prefer it over most lubes generally.
I clean all my magazines in Harbor Freight ultrasonic cleaner, then I blow them off with compressed air. Even my Kel-Tec CP33 clear plastic magazines, which get really dirty even after just 200-300 rds, turn out to be very clean.
Thousands of rounds through my Ruger 10-22 using Ruger 25rd mags.. no deep cleaning, no issues. Love my M4-22 but Are you inferring my Tippmann mag is inferior to Ruger’s..?
Hi Guys. Just bought the m4 -22 lr. Shooting today I had a number of issues with the bolt not cycling and not going into battery. Cleaning the gun I found the bolt guide ring with the hex bolt was loose. Should it be loose, if not how do it fix it. J
@@takumif7056 hi m8 Yep went real deep! Polished the internals accuwedged, adjusted the feed lips slightly on the mags. Tightened the bolt guide ring, reprofiled the extractor and tensioned the spring also smoothed the extractor cut out (being careful as is pressure baring), changed the stroke on the buffer spring and lubed the plunger so it was consistent. Just fitting short throw double safety and trigger tech diamond AR flat black.
Sorry Tippmann - It's a poorly designed magazine and should never had made it to the market. Any word on when a new generation mag will be available ?? Yes, I'm an unhappy M4 owner.
Thanks a lot for showing me that I was wondering how I can clean my magazine

Is there a preferred direction of the spring magazine when I reassemble it?
