I LOVE My M4-22! I have it sitting next to My 98 Custom Paintball Marker in my gunsafe. If there's any plans on making a 5.56 version I'm definitely interested. Y'all make a hell of a product. I'm very impressed

How do you do this on the shorty 7 inch barrel on the Micro Elite? I can't reach the barrel to put it in a protected vise.

I just ordered mine today. He has another video of him removing the barrel on the 16inch version. I suppose it's possible to remove the barrel out of the gun first to do this but it seems like overkill. I'm looking to buy a barrel shroud/compensator and I'm sure you could simply remove the existing A2 Birdcage with a wrench without taking out the barrel by holding the gun down. If it were super tight, maybe it would be worth removing the barrel. The important thing is not to put too much pressure on the barrel.

      Remove handguard first.

I would use blue or yellow thread locker instead of red. Red thread locker is really tough to get loose.

I would not recommend purchasing this firearm due to the poor customer service experience. I recently purchased this firearm and the red dot would not fit. I sent the rifle back to Tippmann in order for them to either replace the upper receiver or “mill” the upper receiver so my red dot mount would fit. Tippmann has now had possession of my firearm for close to one month and now learn I will need to wait until other jobs for new guns are completed first. I was told when I first made the call to Tippmann that it would only take 2 weeks turnaround for the repairs. Every time I contact the representative at Tippmann, he promises to call me back, but never does. I wish Tippmann would just return my money.

This could be possibly user error. How many different types of Picatinny mounts did you try on your upper receiver before you determined that it was out of spec. Is it a qd mount?

It’s a mil spec receiver so what did you do wrong? lol

The picatinny rail on the upper receiver is not milspec. It's weird, because the handguard on the same rifle is milspec...Same rifle, two different specs for the rails.
I love the rifle, but the truth must be said.
