My Tippmann has been a beast since day 1, magazines are flawless, which is one reason I picked it over a 15-22.

@@DaibhidhBhoAlba well your politicians seem to want everyone to know how they banned everything. That’s how they present on TV. The leftist American media pics up on that and doubles down. I also think most of your own citizens wouldn’t expect it. That being said “many options” is a bit of a stretch. Shotguns and bolt action rifles …outside of .22 right? No handguns and semi rifles though…that’s probably 90% of gun made. Oh you can have suppressors easily…but with some court cases in the US I think there is a change that crap goes away in the next few years

That is pure stupid. If there are differences then you should mark the rifles for their generations so customers don't get screwed over.

2:41 That's odd, the lower receiver has a web of metal at the rear of the FCG pocket, separating the very rear of the pocket (where the rear takedown pin goes) into its own separate pocket.
I haven't seen one like that for years. I believe it was done in order to prevent the use of a DIAS (drop-in auto sear).
That thin wall of aluminium was quite easy to remove, so Colt went one step further and installed a block of hardened steel in that area.
I wonder why Tippmann chose to have that web in there? A UK regulation maybe, or going one step further to guard against possible future regulation?
I doubt a DIAS would even work with a .22lr bolt anyway, since they are a different design to the M16 bolt that most centrefire AR15s use.
I wonder if it prevents the use of some drop-in trigger units? I know some triggers won't work with "high-shelf" receivers (which were also intended to prevent use of a DIAS).

@@DaibhidhBhoAlba No I guess you're right. Probably something voluntary by Tippmann then, just to make sure that the receiver is as uncontroversial as possible.
It's just weird seeing a receiver with that web after all these years. It has to have been a deliberate choice, because I don't think anyone makes them like that any more for the US market.
All the receivers I have seen in the last several years have been low shelf/M16 cut.

I was surprised too, but it makes sense really. Being straight blowback guns .22lr AR15s often have more in common with a high-end airsoft gun than they do with a standard AR15. Most of the internal components are completely different, and much easier to manufacture.
I can definitely see how a company that makes airsoft ARs could quite easily branch out into rimfire versions.

Hey Guys "JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW" you are giving people the incorrect information about the Pittmann M4-22 Generations ..... After contacting Pittmann directly, Pittmann said they have lots of people contacting them because of your video giving false incorrect information on how to tell what Generation Tippmann M4-22 you have 1,2 ,or 3 using the serial numbers to tell. The actual "CORRECT" Generations by serial numbers is this.... Gen1: Serial# up to 19,999 / Gen2: Serial# up to 74,999 / Gen3: Serial# over 75,000. They are looking for a way to remove your video to stop giving incorrect info out to the public as you are doing now.

I don’t see how that can be the case. I’ve just bought a new one in the UK and my serial number is only 66k. And all new ones currently listed on Guntrader are in the 60k serial number range.
