just a random thought that occurred to me lol, but do older people who were young in the 40s/50s ever approach you when you're wearing vintage inspired outfits? I've always wondered if they're endeared by it and try to strike up a conversation with you hehe

I know I'm not who this was intended for, but I've definitely had lovely older ladies talk to me about my saddle shoes when I wear them! It's usually along the lines of "I had a pair of those in high school! Are they coming back in style?"

I bet they do. I have older people talk to me about my vintage outfits all the time and I always have older gentlemen ask me to dance at swing dances and sockhops because I remind them of the "good days".
I also sort of wonder whether people who grew up in the 40s/50s liked vintage clothing, but like, from the late 19th century/early 20th century.
You know what I like the most about your vintage try on hauls ? Seeing another "busty" woman wearing beautiful vintage clothes ! It give me so much hope and make me feel more confident about my style !

It's became a light hearted joke, that my male friends now always ask "but does it have pockets?" Whenever I'm wearing a vintage inspired skirt. They have been well informed of the struggle 🤣 and they find it entertaining when I can't help the excitement if I show them it does 😂. Everything needs a good pocket. (A bit random but it brings me joy that 90% of your skirts have pockets haha) Also your style is 👌🏻👌🏻

So i work oktoberfest every year and my family is polish (yet we're part of the german club?)
ANYWAY- a little tip. etsy vintage stores in Latvia are a great way to find vintage dirndls. you can filter results using the "store location function" and instead of using the word "dirndl" you can also search for bavarian or trachten clothinch, blouse, dress ect. I found an amazing vintage embroidered suade jacket for my sister that way (for under $30- because convertion rates)
but if you want more german village girl vibes hopes this helps!

I watched this video this morning, and then this afternoon I discovered that The Mummy is back on Netflix! Spent the afternoon curled up on the couch with my sweetie, in warm jammies and thick socks, sipping tea, watching one of my favorite movies. Sweetie had only seen it once, but remembered liking it. He said it held up pretty well. And he chuckled at me when I recited Evie's "I am a librarian" speech.

I just stumbled upon your channel and loved it, you are adorable. I have always loved vintage clothing from the 50's and 60's (I am a child of the 50's) so remember those styles especially well. My mother wore the styles of the 40's, very form fitting and oh so classic . . . ahhh the memories!

I love your videos. When you said you often look at character outfits to inspire your own that set off a lightbulb for me. I have been wanting more "Austen-esqe or inspired" outfits recently and have been having trouble finding that kind of thing. But if I just look at the character outfits then I can get colors,styles, cuts, etc and go from there. Simple idea but brilliant. Another great video. Thank you :-)
