- This is a permanent solution to water draining into your trunk. BMW did not install drainage in the battery compartment and the modules get drenched and faulty. This fix is permanent and will save you $$$$
Thanks for the heads up imma do that soon lucky we do t get too much rain in California
First of all, what you are saying is the fuel pump relay is actually the parking break relay, and the other sensor on the right is the fuel pump relay ☺️, and if water goes into the fuel pump relay, your car will crank but not start, it happend to me. And the water can also come into the depositing area om the right of your trunk from the stop lamp and from the gas cap chamber if the seal is old and not doing its job 😉
Have the same problem right now, gonna check tomorrow these spots. Car was today in the workshop and they could not find anything. Seems like I have to find it myself, thx for the video
I'm dealing with that problem now. Thank you Sir
Thank you, really appreciated, first time a youtuber left me waiting till he got another battery,,or 2😂 still, you helped me with a simpel but affective video. Best wishes for the new year🙏🏼
Thanks mate, i had a load of water stuck in my boot and mt car kept cutting out this video was perfect
Thanks for posting! I only discovered water in mine after replacing the low pressure and high pressure fuel pump smh hopefully my modules dry out and work fine.
Thank you very much .i had the same problem and now can
Just bought an F10 at auction and this is what I found.
i have the same issue and now my car wont start because the modules are wet. should i take out the modules, let it dry and hopefully everything will be fixed? OR i'm screwed?
Both of my modules ( fuel control and handbrake control ) plus battery gone. So bmw dealer wants to charge me 1200 $ for change. What should i do? Am i looking at a lawsuit? I got 2012 f10 525d xdrive which has 120.000 km on it.
Hi what's the name of the product you used to seal the grommets please .
Having this problem. It’s sooooo draining literally LOL. I’ve went through so many batteries.
Its strange that there is no drainplug under the battery
