Why exactly is it a nonstarter? ICE vehicles won't last forever. You've seen the wildfires from last week caused by the drought conditions in California. Though I personally think we should focus more on corporations, the more folks get onboard with EVs and hybrids, the closer we are to pausing our descent into a climate catastrophe.
@@djhero0071 climate catastrophe?!? oh, you mean the normal cycle of global temperatures for thousands of years. btw, if you want to reduce the amount of carbon emissions, look at the biggest offender and start there....China. Don't force the EV narrative when we do not have the means to support it. Green energy can't support the energy draw required to keep a nation of EVs charged. Why not focus on making ICE's more efficient and less polluting? Why not focus on making oil mining less harmful for the environment? I believe the best use of EV is in the hybrid form. Make a more efficient ICE work better with a real hybrid battery, not one that has 30 or 40 miles of range but one that can really be used to cut down on ICE use when not needed.

We can all be disappointed, but there's nothing much Dodge could do about the government pushing them in that direction. V8s are going away, and we just have to deal with it.
Hi Mr Smith . This is your Dodge dealer , your 2025 Charger is now out of warranty . We suggest you trade it in before the battery goes , because buying a newer car will be cheaper then the battery for your older model 😅

The rumor is that it'll be a performance tuned version of the Hurricane I-6 ICE engine. I wonder how that'll sit with the MOPAR crowd? In particular, the Germans have done a pretty good job of keeping performance alive with their fleet of I-6 based turbo engines. If you ask me, they should have based the design on the 1966 - 1967 Charger. Not knocking the '68 - '70 one, as it's the most popular, but I do think that the first generation would be more fitting to this new concept.
What an era we live in now...speakers are your mufflers..👎.. buy a slightly used Hell Cat for the weekends...and a Corolla daily..no plugs needed..on the head is fine..75 should do it all..

The 06 charger had an engine and an actual exhaust. And certainly doesn't have a roof so high you can get in it with a top hat on
