Forming the Golden Horde is EASY in EU4 1.37 - Gold Rush Achievement - Great Horde WC Part 1/4

This is the first of several videos of this campaign. We are going for the Gold Rush, KHAAAAAAAN, The Great Khan, There Khan Only Be One, and Turning the Tide. This is a HUGE campaign where we are going for the world conquest. But this video focuses on the early game part where we form the Golden Horde and get the Gold Rush achievement in a very short amount of time.

I have more than 90% of the achievements, but "embrace all institutions" achievements are the bane of my EU4 existence, I really dislike the idea of having to wait for set date just for the achievement to light up especially when most of my campaigns are done by 1600 tops.

You're playing muslim, which means you can definitely go for a (potential) one faith here as well! Propagate religion in is a very powerful ability. Combine that with forming the caliphate, religious ideas, going theocracy (Caliphate T1 theocracy reform is very strong too!), and the recently introduced automatic missionaries, and it should be very doable. This also nets you the Dar Al-Islam achievement
Also, if you do end up going theocracy and unifying Islam, you can stack A LOT of province warscore cost vs other religions modifiers; -10% from the T1 theocracy reform, -15% from T10 (millitarists in power), -30% from T13, -10% from the Kaaba, -15% from the malta forts, and the final -20% you can get from diplo ideas. You also get some from the mongol missions if I'm not mistaken, so you don't have to get every modifier listed here (Especially the T13 one has some very strong alternatives)

Razing also means the dev is lowered, which increases conversion speed.

I think you can't be a caliphate and a horde

@@Al-Basha_ You can unify Islam as a horde (you can see the decision in the video), but the government reform is monarchy or theocracy exclusive. There is however, nothing stopping you from just swapping out of the horde govt and into Theocracy (which would be the better pick for a one faith)
In general, hordes kinda fall off towards the end of the game anyways. When you can afford level 5 advisors in all categories, and don't know what to spend all that mana on, the bonuses you get from the additional reforms that other governments have outweigh razing.

Secured Succession Estate Privilege only applies if your leader has more than 12 points total, so you don't have to worry about having that on even if you have terrible leaders.

Great start should be able to pretty easily world conquest and one faith if you nip European powers and ottomans early!

Ottomans were not a problem in this run whatsoever. Hungary and Mamluks alliance boxed them in and they were weak AF.

As long as Protestantism doesn’t spawn, the age of absolutism is irrelevant meaning that you can form the Mongol Empire after the industrialization institution is discovered

You aren't keeping reform desire under 100% after 1530s tho.

@@darkphoenix2745 I’ve done it on Ironman as Austria after 1610 and I started in 1444. No centers spawned unless I wanted them to
I crashed the game if one spawned or went to the backup if it saved
