Kongo is the True African Power! - Dominating Africa as Kongo in EU4 (1/2) - EU4 Completionist

In this EU4 video, I play as the Kongo to get the African Power and Hoarder achievements! We start out dominating the neighboring African tribes and end the video by declaring war on the Europeans! This achievement was particularly fun to do, and the new Kongo mission tree makes it so much more enjoyable!

did this one, i remember it involved a no cb start against kilwa or one of it's neighbours early on to quickly grab feudalism.
If your stuck on ideas to pick, my go-to if i don't need a very specific idea group is always Inno/Espio, the real strength between the 2 is advisor cost reductions with the estates offering another 25%, any special advisor that's 50% off is giving you an insane money to mana exchange rate.

Inno/espio/offensive is by far the strongest 3 in the game. I plan to go exploration into Brazil in my Kongo run tho for colonialism spawn.

I think the vassals might be bugged. I had a similar problem on a recent playthrough. I had to quit out of EU4 and reload for my vassal to start moving again.

Kongo is such a fun start, just constant high speed expansion out across Africa.

Always fun to watch vassal swarm gameplay. 47:10 I just wish there was an option (in the vassal interface maybe?) or two that let you share either some or all of your maps with your vassal. Since as you saw they do nothing if they don't have map information. I used console commands to check, and making someone a vassal/junior partner/etc. doesn't actually share map info.

Doesn't collecting in a non primary trade node hurt your trade power? You probably could have completed that mission earlier.
