You know, I come over from Bonnie's channel and I have literally zero ideas of DIY and whatnot but I just come over here to sit and listen to Joel and give him that support. But, I do find the videos very interesting 😊 Love you guys! ❤

I had no idea timer fans existed. Wish I would’ve known this when I had additional lighting put in our bathroom and the switches were being worked on! Love the details put into your house

The explanation of the neutral and ground wire connections helped a lot since my old dial switch just had the two wire hookup ie Line & load connections. Thanks :)

Amigo, it does show you do have experience on your trade and also helping others, on how to do it. If you cover the live outlet with electrical tape : 2 or 3 times around, you will be safe!..but, do not show this way on you tube, (off camera) so nobody will get hurt, congratulation for helping people out, in a very humble way bit over 30 years as a handyman, Chao amigo!

We don't find separate fan switches very often over this side of the Atlantic, usually only very old or very poorly retro-fitted installations. More common is having the fan on the light-switch with a delay timer cut-off. Switch the light on, the fan comes on. Switch the light off and the fan stays on for anything from 5 up to 30 minutes afterwards.
The good parts are that the fans always come on when the bathroom is in use (unless you do your business in the dark) and there's no permanently on option.
The bad part is that this does no good if the kid also leaves the light on all the time!

Just a note as per 2023 NEC all boxes with switches must have a neutral at the box. Also if there are two circuits in a box neutrals must be separated Not tied together. Get a head lamp don't work live when you don't need to, case in point. You need a box extension on that two gang. Read instructions on device before installing, things are changing all the time.

What if my fan only has two wires? I assume it’s the same black line just being interrupted

We have a fan in our 1970's apartment and I cant stand it being on the same switch as the lights. I had no idea those were even an option.

This primary suit is great ! What i do not understand is building a home with only one bathroom downstairs. I am the only girl of three children. My mom would have never made me share a bathroom with my brothers. Its not cool.

There are two sinks and separate cabinets for each child.
Also the bath part and sink part are separated.
