That strut bar does absolutely nothing for the car. There is a reason strut bars mount not to the body but the shock itself. There are 3 shock bolts literally right there that are not even being used, and the whole purpose of a "strut brace" is to give rigidity to the STRUT not the sheet metal. The two braces you remove to fit the strut brace are already in place to give the metal rigidity from flex.

I have has my 22BRZ since Feb. and I am just getting tired of waiting for the POWER mods. Im over all the exhaust, suspension and vinyl. Give me a blower and some tuning already..!! Once ecutec gets this ECU cracked the flood gates will open. 😁
I expected more from Perrin this bar is not mechanically tied to ether strut and can slide back and forth inside that holder. It’s not providing any useful bracing it’s more of a curtain rod for your engine bay
Once the bar is tightened down it does not slide inside the holder. you can mark it with a sharpie and go thrash the car around and come back and the mark will be in the same place.

not only that, this bar requires to move ac line, put some ugly rubber over it..plus buy a perrin cover if u want it to look good...def not worth
Thank goodness. Every time I look at my strut towers they are missing. Now I will know they will always be right where I left them.

It forms a triangle with the other braces, which are very strong shapes and hence used in architecture like bridges and buildings.

Struts bar won't work with the stock engine cover ?
nope - stock plastic cover is much thicker. Ppl are simply taking it off altogether.
