I used PVC to make curtain rods for my sunroom. Its large, at 720 sq feet, so rather than paying over $300 for just regular curtain rods, I spent $8 on pvc pipe. PVC is super versatile!
Love the shower tower. A useful modification would be to add an in-line PVC valve at about 3' up on the vertical piece. Leave the water turned on at the source, but have ability to turn on & off at the shower, or adjust the flow rate.
Your son looks like he is having a blast helping you. he did a great job and it is really neat to see father and son making memories that will last a lifetime. keep up the great work. 😊
That's so cool having your son help you. Tell him I enjoyed his descriptions and that he did great! You have such great ideas and that's cool how people share with you to put it all together!
Luv the PVC hacks, and the ones with your son in them.I have been looking for just a easy window awning for my trailer camper - that faces the west ,and the heat makes it hot inside, and AC work hard.As I started watching your PVC hacks.I wonder a PVC frame with a tarp would be the answer to my problem.Hmm!What do you think?
One comment about the pool/key... If it does come out from under the ladder...It will simply float into the filter which is just as stealth and easily retrievable. Once again, GREAT ideas and video. Always enjoy watching what you and the viewers come up with!! Thanks to BOTH you and your son! Lauri
You folks gave me a SWEET idea for my job. I am a traffic control flagger and usually don't have a place to sit for break (what few I get) or the toilet. So, as one viewer mentioned, I might have to make that chair (a bit taller but not by much since I am a shorty at 5'2") and maybe some sort of framework seat for not getting blackberry thorns up the butt.
Thanks for all the nifty ideas. I've used pvc to build a rectangular frame, lashed fabric to it, and mounted it with screw in hooks over a porch window. A length of pvc bolted to each end holds it up at an angle and I have an awning to cut some of the heat from my porch. And a leftover length became an extension handle for a paint brush to paint the floor without bending over. Thinking my next project might be a drying rack for laudry I don't want to put through the electric dryer.
you guys are cool I liked the shower and the water valley ball the most just last week I thought of making a 200 feet long sprinkler system using pvc pipe.
You're a gem! Ive learned so much. Problem is I've been watching these at nite b4 sleep. no notes taken so i dont know which video i need to go back to find what I want to make!!! HELP!!!
Your young assistant (your son) is so sweet and with a mood that infects and you feel like and smile yourself on a bad day But I have another idea for you Take a plastic splash pipe cut it into 5 pieces of pre-sized size paint them black and use them as high bed However, I would remember to put fiber underneath them so that it does not grow upwards from below, because I have tried and it is so bad so remember to style them on fiber cloth ..... I got my tubes ugly by visiting our local Kloar build company with a box of 30 beers and 30 soda and asked if they had some pipe breaks I had to bring with ☺️ thus the unused kind Since in Denmark it costs to get rid of waste if you are a company but for private individuals it is free

I'd really like to see some fishing pole holders to stick in the ground. Made by pvc. Something to hold my pole securely so it won't go flying when a catfish bites. Thank you :)
Thank you very much. Life Hacks are techniques, tricks, shortcuts, or novelty ways to reuse, upcycle, repurpose, and recycle certain products in uncommon ways to make life easier.
take half inch PVC and connected in a box fashion and make it as tall as you want for your kids to drive under in the summer with their riding toy cars and tractors put a hose connecter on the base and it is a fun mini car wash for your kids
I use half inch pvc pipe and construction angles and built a huge grid and put a bunch of hole in it and hocked the filter to it so you could feel the water shooting up
Great PVC hacks. Going to show my son the launcher, he'll love making it. I just started watching your video's. Great! I was wondering what is used for the garden plant square. I think its a great idea, for me just to keep so sort of even space between plants..I tend to plant to close, lol If the directions or at least the item descriptions could be posted that would be great. I looked for a link on how to make it but didn't seem to find it. Thanks in advance
I have an idea for a pvc project- basically it's a taller version of the volleyball net but the water is shooting down for people to run through or maybe put it over a pool
Hey Love, I haven't noticed you using PVC cement. With the waterpark/fountains, do you keep the water pressure down to keep the joints intact? And what about leaks? I'm building one this weekend and would like your insight before I start gluing and make a permanent structure!
+Weusi E If your water pressure is reasonable and you press each joint together real tight, the pipe should stay together as long as it is not bumped real hard. I do not glue because it is easier for storage.
great vid will be making the pvc chair. also I love that flashlight. I have had mine many years and its still great after hard daily use. hang on to it its a keeper.
I loved this one. Glider launch good for water balloons, sock puppet theatre I thought you had an ostriche at first and the vooley ball goodie, oh yeah.
#3: That's what machetes are for. When I was your son's age, my YMCA camp was in an area famous for nettles. We all got machetes to clear the area for paths and general clearing. That was different times. Imagine giving machetes to children today.
I have an idea how about a lamp holder out of pvc and the light bulb and thing that surrounds it can go on top and you can make the lamp as tall or short as you want or curved or even upside down!
They might reject on the basis that it's just like How It's Made but yours is simple to the point and have most people dumb founded to learn from you something that would have never cross their minds. I'd like to challenge you if you would except! My challenge to you is to build a boat out of PVC be it row boat or motor boat. I'd like to fund it, but unfortunately I am not able to do such a thing at this time, I'd like to see how many people feel cheated after your able to build it.
What an awesome and fun father/son team you both make! Now that is good parenting. Love to see that!
Thank you very much

Theresa Ravens He Theresa. what size pvc did you use for curtain rods.
linda silver I used 3/4 inch pipes, end caps, elbow joints and couplers.

the pvc stool was totally unexpected! i will have to try it out tonight
hen ngo ff
I used PVC as a frame for my homemade disc golf backpack. Seen quite a few designs, and it works great!
Speaking of, the stool idea, could you make a collapsible stool with PVC?
Could you send a pic of the backpack to our facebook page: facebook.com/specificlovefanpage
Sure thing, I can message you.
Awesome video. I really like the way you had your son included in the video, with him even describing some of the projects.
Take care and be safe
Roy
Thanks, he loves to help
Love your OVC hacks and used a bunch of them.
Your son is a great helper too.
Thank you

In one of these videos, I made just what you mention. It can work, but I did not test the longevity. So give it a try and let me know.

# 3 is what they use across the pond to make Crop Circles !!!
I thought of that after I made it, but I did not want to give anyone any ideas.
I'd really like to see some fishing pole holders to stick in the ground. Made by pvc. Something to hold my pole securely so it won't go flying when a catfish bites. Thank you :)
Made one in #11: ruclips.net/video/n0UhTvLpqeY/видео.html
+Specific Love Creations great! Thank you!
Very cool ideas. Even though I'm not familiar with the Life Hack terminology, once again the creativity was excellent! Don
Thank you very much. Life Hacks are techniques, tricks, shortcuts, or novelty ways to reuse, upcycle, repurpose, and recycle certain products in uncommon ways to make life easier.
OK. That's what I'd inferred your use of "hacks" meant based on the context. This hick hadn't used hacks in that definition - ha. Thx, Don
I like to see your son in this video he did a GRATE job explaining it!
Thank you
I made a pvc stand for my rc boat! It is much sturdier than the one it comes with!

love these vids. love the fact your son is interested in thses.
He loves to help
Do you glue the water sprinkler ideas? Curious for storage.
I did not. It can hold together for a while if you squeeze them real tight, but it can still come apart at times. Its up to you.
I likethem all, but the shower was tbe most
good ideas and I love how mature and fluent your son sounded. he's going to need his own RUclips channel soon.
Funny that you said that, he is hoping to start a new channel in the near future

I think the shower should be put by a pool for chlorine to wash it off 👍🏻
That can work too
I wonder if you could use the planting square as a cement walkway form.
What size and length pvc did you use for the dive sticks?
I like all of the projects. if you put a pouch on the glider launcher and you've got a water balloon launcher.
Love the channel, great projects.
Thank you
you should try a PVC hand pump
or a PVC firestarter (compressor).
brush guard for a pick up. the step on Bush whacker in this video give me the idea.
I have an idea how about a lamp holder out of pvc and the light bulb and thing that surrounds it can go on top and you can make the lamp as tall or short as you want or curved or even upside down!
good idea
You guys are so creative! Viewers too, I legit have a use for the launcher because I have an RC glider and it's a pain to launch
Get that foam glider launcher, and Joerg Sprave and you got a mighty fine weapon.
good
thanks
+Specific Love Creations I am looking forward to a different way to get back with the summer
You can use something similar to the shower for cleaning the roof Goiter

+Aaron Christmann The funny thing is that I have 2 ideas for boats in the future. It might be a few weeks but I am still working out the details.
If you'll allow me to share an idea, I think a pontoon style boat would be a pretty good start
thats funny i was going to say something about the RC plane launcher a few weeks ago they also have a nice wall hanger for rc planes out of pvc
PVC from my hardware very flexible. Maybe different quality. Won’t stand straight as your shower. Any ideas 💡 for me?
