I bought my first kindle a year ago, I honestly think one of my best choices so far, as an avid reader, I feel ebooks are really conventional but still I am sticked to paperbacks:)

It was 10th gen back then but i upgraded it to all New 11th gen Paperwhite now

How's the battery life of the kindle basic 10th gen ? mine is draining a lot faster than the mentioned battery life.. mine is consuming about 30-35% battery per day with 1 hour of reading ..is this normal ?

No they are not available. I owned the basic kindle. Kinda want to upgrade to paperwhite cos the ppi is clearer compare to the basic

I've recently read an e book but i read it on my Tablet. I read like 25 books a year so should I really go for kindle? I somehow think physical copies are costly but more cozy. But some books that are famous and have good storyline are actually really costly so I read only them in the kindle app.
So glad I bought the Kindle Basic version at the last Prime Day sale. Alas, can't imagine the amount of disappointment if I had bought the Paperwhite at the time.
Why do you think that is? I'm split between the basic version and the paperwhite.

Kindle can br a good investment , but waiting for a book , unboxing it and that new book smell and the hype is what kindle cant give and to be honest almost everybody wants the physical copy as long as they can get it

Buying a kindle has been the best thing ever for me because before I used to read like 10 to 15 books and year and after buying a kindle I've already read over a 100 books this year its honestly my fav thing in the world BTW does it happen that while reading at night you get water on your eyes? Or am I the only one?
The water in eyes can be because of damage done by kindle to your eyes.

I'm such a slow reader☹️ I can barely read at a speed of 250 to 300 WPM
Just read books regularly and your pace will automatically increase 👍
You know reading book is like a journey ... Don't finish it fast just try to explore and enjoy your journey ... There's no good in reading fast if you cannot grab the knowledge embedded in it ... And slowly you'll increase your reading speed too as you read regularly ... Good Luck 😄

I bought kindle Paperwhite in sale price (70 dollers) . Still didn't get it on hand. I am not an avid reader. I read 10/12 books per year which is very low. I bought kindle so that I could read more books. Let's see what happens 🤞

I have Kindle paperwhite 10th generation. Not satisfied with it. It doesn't support PDF files. Not worth its money. Even if I'm an avid reader but my choice isn't supported by the device then it's absurd to invest in such a device.
