Paperback v/s Kindle v/s Audiobooks - If you are a beginner and you're confused about which reading method is best for you then this is the right video. I have divided the three methods of reading into 4 categories - Cost, Durability, Ease of Taking Notes and Convenience. In the end of each category, I rated them out of 5 and shared my thoughts based on personal experience.

The magic with having a self library is something else... When we look at our shelf filled with all the books we've read, it automatically makes us feel wiser and knowledgeable. Kindle & Audiobooks cannot offer that feeling
having your personal library its feel good bcz of we are book lover we always want mew book its feel like therapy having your own book and reading your own book its feel like home😆your comfort place so no doubt i never prefer kindle and whatever physical book is best
I will prefer physical reading because I require a peaceful place where I can sit and read. Our eyes are already busy in mobile and computer like devices. So I think it’s a distraction. I typed it in you community post also. Taking notes while writing is usually a good practice because everything is handy so we forget our abilities. So that’s why it’s better to read physically. I agree that it’s not convenient while traveling etc. but when you are in your home, it’s a perfect pill.

Dnt need to be sorry for saying truth! Todays digital distractions are heavy n taking a toll on our eyes plus its said that visual mode is the biggest reason for distraction n loss of focus plus attention in todays time!
@@apurva797 But kindle is solely based for reading there's no distractions in Kindle like we get in a mobile or tablet and moreover kindle uses ink based technology so it's screen is completely different from Mobile....u actually feel like u r reading physical book while reading in a Kindle :)

I feel you just ignored the costing aspect in kindle, because you have to pay for kindle and then buy the books as well. Until you are going to go for piracy. There are no free books

I would always prefer a physical book no matter how much better Kindle and audiobooks are bcuz while reading physical books,you make a reading habit,habit of focussing on one task and very important you can use your 4 senses while reading it (skin,ear,eye and nose)...

1.I prefer physical books more...t
2. Talking about kindle, I usually download ebooks of my wishlisted books and read it while travelling.
3.For audiobooks, I usually watch booksummaries on youtube or sometimes audible or kukufm.
I am fond of all three methods, jahan se bhi gyaan mile bator lo. 😊
Problem is jab review karna ho, you need to distinctly recollect what you read where.
Moreover, with audiobooks as you don't get actively involved, it defeats the process to a great extent I feel.

You missed out following points:
For Physical Books : You can easily buy cheaper copies in second hand stores for popular titles. And hands down, in the departments of creating memories and nostalgia associated with reading, physical books are clear winner. I still adore the books that I got gift as a child, in school, or different competetions or on birthday.
For Kindle/Ebooks: There is definitely a recurring cost if you are willing to get your books legally/ from authentic sources (like for example: amazon/other e-publication sites), whereas, if you are not so choosy about titles, kindle unlimited subscription or 'otherwise sourced' books can come really cheap, or even for free. Overall, for practicallity, kindle wins it easy for me.
For Audiobooks: There's no consistency in production value of audiobooks. I tried probably 5 titles and liked only 1 - Project Hail Mary - Strongly recommended. (Spoiler alert: however engaging the content is, often the pronunciation, or bland narration can spoil a book for you). Also, these are typically suitable for fictions, as you also have mentioned, because retention of information via audio is not that great compared to text, as per my personal experience.

Hi Drishti, It's a valid comparsion on just reading books I want a suggestion here or even a separate video that how we can actually apply the principles of the book that we are reading, listening or whatever like if we would read a physical book or kindle version then for 1-2 days we may follow that but how we can apply all that principle through out our life as we take notes and forget it

In my Opinion!!! Doesn't matter how inconvenient, durable or anything a Physical book is, But it feels like you are reading a book. If I'll choose Kindle, It'll feel like I'm reading some article like we usually do!! Vo book ka feel ni aata😂

You are absolutely correct in books the smell is so good that it will force us to read this but due to the expense we cant purchase it so its best to listen to audio book
This is simple for me...
Physical books are most tempting to read, definitely! But not feasible all the time.
The advantage with a device like kindle is that it gives you thousands of options at a single time, like your own personal library. Plus it being a dedicated reading device, it feels quite real and good reading it. Much better than reading in a mobile or anything...
Talking about audio books, I find them good too, but ultimately it all depends on the narrator. If the narrator, narrates the book at right pace, pausing at proper intervals and reads it being involved in the story of the book, like with proper feelings that the book deserves. Then that audio book is worth listening otherwise not. Then it sounds like a bot reading a book, emotionless and so uninspiring!...
That's why I prefer audio dramas more. They are much more engaging!

I am a college student. I go to college daily and since my college is miles away from my home i spend almost 4.5 hours to reach the college and coming back home . For me audiobook sounds perfect because in the bus there is no issue with them😊
I believe the points allotted to Cost for the Kindle is drastically unfair.
Owning a Kindle doesn't make books from Amazon free. In most cases, you would still have to pay the price for the kindle edition of the book.
In fact, you can get the free Kindle app on your phone or tablet and read the same books instead of investing close to 10k for a Kindle device.🙅🏻♂️
I'm personally a sucker for audio books as they make me feel more productive, but if given the choice of unlimited free time, it would be physical books for me all the time.

I loved it but these are the fallacies -
1. Cost for kindle is device + subscription/book price
On similar lines, for kindle, the source to procure books is limited and thus you gotta pay whatever the price there is.
2. Limitation is paperback is storage, the quality degrades over time, yellowing, mites etc.
Kindle wins here, store them fresh and as many as you want.
3. With audiobooks, the active involvement in the process is almost nill hence it kinda defeats the purpose to a great extent.
Also, in audiobooks, once you buy, you have it for a lifetime just like kindle books without any degradation in quality and everything organised at a place, you can't lose them anywhere.
Limitations, you can't share your books with friends easily 😅

for where you get physical books
I love reading books, but the thing is, they are expensive. I usually read a 200 page book in a week, which costs about 300-400 rs. And a lot of time I read a 400 page books which costs about 500 rs I guess.
My father offered me to buy kindle. But you know kindle can't replicate the feeling of reading an actual book. Kindle's much cheaper though.
