I love changing the fonts based on what I’m reading. Im all about immersion, and this is a great feature. Futura is what i use for Sci-fi, Bookerly for general fiction, Baskerville/Palatino for Fantasy, etc

I just realized that the quote written on the kindle and where the charger wire is, it's from different books/ different quotes from books and it varies from each kindle packaging, THAT'S SO AWESOME!!

@@notyarkor I'm using Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition and Kobo Libra Colour and they are both excellent. I'm concerned about Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, which uses the same 7” E Ink Kaleido 3 screen as Kobo Libra Colour, but it's $60 more expensive, which is a key point in my hesitation to buy it.

As you have a clear kindle case, do you use a screen protector as to protect the kindle screen from getting scratches and stuff and would you recommend getting one?
Just put a matte screen protector on an iPad and it instantly transforms into a kindle without the glare. I own a kindle too but I hardly use it because it’s so slow, plus Amazon just pulls out books randomly. My kindle gave me problems within a year ; like automatically skipping pages without turning. My iPad mini is better without the eye strain

I would’ve loved to get my Kindle in green, but the 32gb model I got only came in grey….but maybe it’s better this way since I’ll probably have to “ditch” it soon - there are several ebooks I plan to buy, and my Kindle has only 9gb of free space left (not enough for all the titles I want). 😔
Omgosh how have you filled it so much. Genuine questions cos 32gb fits like a million books..you can store them in the cloud and only download them when you wish to read if your space is full. Do you have a lot of audio on there?
@@Alana-Thorn_n_thistle_reads By downloading all the ebooks I have ((around 300 in total between novels and japanese manga comics, which are a bit heavy)) because I often read in places where there’s no wi-fi - and I’m used to reading on 128/256gb tablets….but I learned my lesson, the only ebooks downloaded on my Kindle now are the latest ones I got. LOL
@LucienSabre so sorry just seeing this now. That makes total sense if your out and about alot. I had just never heard of anyone busting the data on it. I thought they held thousands if not audio. That's scary it was only 300....... I get it anime etc could be heavy gb wise

Wow it’s so fast. I have a 2nd generation kindle paperwhite that’s probably like 12 or so years old now. It’s still going strong but it’s so slow. I’ve been trying to wait for it to die until I get a new one but I don’t think it will. lol
it is fast indeed! i have a kindle ppw from 2019 and just recently upgraded to the ppw 2021 version, it's so much faster! however, i believe the video part where she messes around the kindle is slightly sped up, just saying haha
