Kindle has been my Best Buy till date. Since buying it two Years ago, I have made a habit of reading one hour every day prior to going to sleep. Have so far read 43 books which I hadn’t read in so many years. A BIG THUMBS UP TO KINDLE. 😄👍🏻 Great video and All the Best from India 🇮🇳
I got mine on prime day too and, luckily and completely unbeknownst to me, I had accumulated a bunch of reward points through my bank, so the kindle cost me 90 cents in the end 😁 Best 90 cents I ever spent for sure lol
Great video! Lol my case is funny. I've got a paperwhite back in 2018 and for some reason didn't like it and I didn't know about sending books ( that I of course buy from amazon and not download somehere *cough*) by email to it. Like one month ago though I found it in my basement and tried it out again and researched how to transfer books on it etc. Guess what , now it's my daily companion! 😂 I've already 2 books on it in a month.

This is my question too! I don't mind reading on either one but my iPad can feel too big and bulky at times and my phone too small 🤦🏻♀️ what a dilemma 🤣
Exactly!! I love my ipad but it's too bulky to read in bed (have had the occasional fall on my face at night which hurts 😭).. plus nowdays I spend every waking hour infront of a screen either laptop, ipad or phone, so clearly need to give my eyes a little break! I'm seriously considering getting a kindle just for that! 🙈

1:05 - insignificance of the price. Not the reason for my contry. The course of USD changed a lot and the price became much higher. I am also thinking about purchasing e-book, but I suppose I would buy something with lower price.
Been using kindle since 2018 and gotta say if you like to read it helps a lot. Lighter, thinner, and doesn't hurt the eye, also cheaper book selection on amazon. Although many people commenting on why would i spend money for things that pretty much can only be used to read e-book, i still say it's a worthy purchase if you read a lot. Cheers man
I'm still avoiding to get hooked to the Amazon ecosystem so I use epub E-Book readers from diffrent brands. Same benefits. Regarding your commute habit, you could also listen to a podcast instead of listening to music. That's what I'm doing while walking with my dog. Couln't read an ebook while walkig, but listening to a podcast is easy. If you need book recommondations: 1. Cal Newport: Deep work. 2. Carol Dweck: Mindset 3. Rory Sutherland: Alchemy The last one I'm currently reading and so far it is a deeply insigthful book about consumer psychology, marketing and design. Since you're a student, there is of course "How to take smart notes" by Sönke Ahrens which describes a method of getting the most out of your literature notes. I wish I would have known this stuff while I was a student long ago.
I was in two minds about buying myself a kindle even after placing the order just a few minutes ago. I found a lot of negative reviews about issues with the device on Amazon. I wanted to feel a little reassured so got into RUclips and that's when I found your video. Thanks a lot. I recommend books by Sadhguru especially Inner Engineering.
I think one of the biggest impacts on quality of sleep, life and mental health is a diat from news. Just don't watch it, read it or hear it for a couple of weeks and you'll realize that you're not missing ANYTHING because all the big stuff is brought to you by friends. You miss out on all the negative stuff you can't do anything about and that just frustrates you though. I've been doing that on and off since 2015 and I always feel best, when I don't know what's going on for weeks. Then I relapse and feel terrible again.
Best buy ever. It's my favorite gadget. I can basically have free books everywhere I go with me. And yes when I like a book I then buy it most of the time.
I hope that someday a brand will sell a colored e ink reader coz that would be so useful for school (especially PDFs that have pictures, diagrams, etc.) And of course I hope my broke ass ca afford it.
I love my kobo, I download all the books I want and send them to one drive, and when I open the e-reader it's all there ready to be read... next time I buy another one I wanna try something like Remarkable, way bigger so it would be easier to read PDFs and graphs in general

I bought my kindle 8 years ago because big epic fantasy books where hurting my hands and back (like literally I was starting to have muscle/tendon issues). I've been a strong proponent of e-readers ever since.
I also have a kindle and it’s GREAT.I can read WHERE i want and WHEN i want.Because i’m still in school i don’t have much free time so i can EVEN read at night without click my light on(so that my parents don’t know that i’m reading).Because of the fact that i read like Warrior Cats 1 too 7 in two days my parents got my a kindle(because the prices are lower).Honestly i don’t read every time i play video games and have hobby’s.But for the price of the kindle(in Switzerland)this is just💥
Just started following you from the arbitrage betting video for obvious reasons haha. My tip is don't buy the kindle, buy a kobo. Better value for money, you get more file support too which is huge PDF, zip, xlm, txt, zim, jpg, cbr (comic books), html. Pocket (idk reading wikipedia on the go offline) browser, night mode back illumination (orange tone) which is good for your eyes and astonishingly lacking on kindles. I bought my kobo clara hd for 110€ years ago and never looked back. I have like 350 books on it. Oh and you can replace the sd card from 8gb to 32gb diy style
I bought one last month. My goal is to read 20 books by the end of next year and want to cut down on my phone screen time. I wanted to get some traction so I started reading in November rather than jan. already read 8 books in one month and having a lot of fun.
this is such a good video !! exactly how i feel about my kindle lmao; it rlly pays for itself !! even if you don't want to go down the 🏴☠️ route lmao there are websites with free classics and so many good books that you can read for free; also get calibre for transferring since it transfers the formatting and everything lol. another tip is that u should rlly get a cover for kindles (not the overpriced official amazon ones lol, just any cover off etsy or 3rd party on amazon or whatever) since ereaders tend to be fragile and i've managed to break 2 before even though i was handling them with care :/// other than that, this was a really informative video !!! subscribed hehe 💞

I’m hoping someone can please help? I have had a Kindle for years. It is wonderful as I am unable to comfortably hold a book for any length of time. I also use audiobooks, presently managed using my phone. I was therefore delighted when I saw that the newer models of Kindles offer Bluetooth, so purchased one recently. However I am extremely disappointed to learn that only certain headphones will work with the Bluetooth function but am unable to find out which these are. I have contacted the Kindle Helpline but they were unable to assist which seems very peculiar! I would be so grateful if anyone can please help with this query.
Dude i bought the book 1984 from george orwell. I was through in 3 day’s. Now im so into reading but books are expensive. Im scared that the pictures i have in my head when i read a story, dont pop up when i read it on the kindle. I don’t want it to be very different from reading a book.
DO NOT BUY!!!! Thing is worthless. From constantly crashing from opening an app that is a simple game, to not having a GPS and constant ads just to open it. Lets talk about that.
I recently got a Kindle and it has changed my life for the better for the same reasons you said your Kindle has changed your life for the better. I used to use my iPad in bed on social media which is the worst thing you can do before sleep if you want to get good sleep. Now I read my Kindle in bed instead and my sleep has been so much better. There are many great books I could recommend but everyone's taste is different so what I really like may not be something you like.

awesome, ill check it out!
what keyboard are you using? It looks and sounds similar to mine
So you could do more productive things, like making this RUclips video. While I do less productive things, like watching RUclips.. er.. hey, wait a minute!!! :-)
hahaha!
not to mention even if ebook is same price as paper book its still more convinient since you dont have to drive to the book store or library
Kindle has been my Best Buy till date. Since buying it two Years ago, I have made a habit of reading one hour every day prior to going to sleep. Have so far read 43 books which I hadn’t read in so many years. A BIG THUMBS UP TO KINDLE. 😄👍🏻
Great video and All the Best from India 🇮🇳
Thanks for sharing!
Can we read online novels that we read in google in kindle also?plz reply!just want to confirm a gift option😇
@@SKY-kv7no You would need to purchase the Novel through Amazon (if available) and then you can read it on Kindle.
@@anandjha211085 oh thx fr the reply!👍
The most asian reasons to buy a kindle 🤣 so relatable
I told an aunt of mine that my Kindle had a little over 2000 books on it, she asked me if that made it heavy.
Hahaha thats so funny!
This is so funny.
Thats really cool, but im too attached to my physical books 📚 📖 😅😂
haha yeah, everyone has their own preference! :)
This is what i originally thought for myself as well, but as soon as i got the Kindle, I realized this wasn't true!
I’ve had a kindle since I was 11, now I have the oasis and it is incredible!
How old are u now
@@bazzz872 Seems 12
Buy the kindle oasis much better more storage
I got mine on prime day too and, luckily and completely unbeknownst to me, I had accumulated a bunch of reward points through my bank, so the kindle cost me 90 cents in the end 😁 Best 90 cents I ever spent for sure lol
Nice! 90c is such a bargain!
I am spending so much on manga so I am thinking of getting one of these because the eBooks are so much more cheaper
I’ve been reading power of habits
Great video! Lol my case is funny. I've got a paperwhite back in 2018 and for some reason didn't like it and I didn't know about sending books ( that I of course buy from amazon and not download somehere *cough*) by email to it. Like one month ago though I found it in my basement and tried it out again and researched how to transfer books on it etc. Guess what , now it's my daily companion! 😂 I've already 2 books on it in a month.
I wanna buy one ...Ur convincing me more thnx...
You should!
Can you find any book u like on kindle?
Shane: *wastes 16 hours per week
Me: *wastes 16 hours per day scrolling facebook and watch youtube videos about being productive 😂
Btw I suggest reading the book "Make it stick"
Hahahaha thanks for the recommendation. Will check it out! :)
Exactly! Just bought it also from a big discount from Prime day. And with some really nice websites I got some E books for free that already saved me more then the purchase price of the Kindle. 😁😁😁😁
One of the best purchases I've ever made was when I bought a Kindle. No regrets so far
Completely agree!
I read on my iPad or phone mostly... Does it make sense to invest in getting a Kindle?
This is my question too! I don't mind reading on either one but my iPad can feel too big and bulky at times and my phone too small 🤦🏻♀️ what a dilemma 🤣
Exactly!! I love my ipad but it's too bulky to read in bed (have had the occasional fall on my face at night which hurts 😭).. plus nowdays I spend every waking hour infront of a screen either laptop, ipad or phone, so clearly need to give my eyes a little break! I'm seriously considering getting a kindle just for that! 🙈
Great video - I read non fiction books about finances and investing. Psychology books are also some of my favorites. Nevertheless I liked and subscribed, you seem very humble 😁🤗
Wonderful!
Can you recommend the psychology books you enjoyed and got nice amount of knowledge from 👉🏻👈🏻
1:05 - insignificance of the price. Not the reason for my contry. The course of USD changed a lot and the price became much higher. I am also thinking about purchasing e-book, but I suppose I would buy something with lower price.
Yeah there are definitely cheaper options out there
@@ShaneHuang88 but anyway thanks for reminding me about plan to buy e-book. ;-)
Cheers man
Thanks for sharing! Youre welcome :(
I'm still avoiding to get hooked to the Amazon ecosystem so I use epub E-Book readers from diffrent brands. Same benefits. Regarding your commute habit, you could also listen to a podcast instead of listening to music. That's what I'm doing while walking with my dog. Couln't read an ebook while walkig, but listening to a podcast is easy.
If you need book recommondations:
1. Cal Newport: Deep work.
2. Carol Dweck: Mindset
3. Rory Sutherland: Alchemy
The last one I'm currently reading and so far it is a deeply insigthful book about consumer psychology, marketing and design.
Since you're a student, there is of course "How to take smart notes" by Sönke Ahrens which describes a method of getting the most out of your literature notes. I wish I would have known this stuff while I was a student long ago.
will take a look! cheers :)
Cheers!
you'll like manufacuring consent by noam chomsky.
Couldn't agree more!
Wait till you find out about audio books lol You will go back to your headphones :)
Amazing review, mate! Can not wait to get my own Kindle Paperwhite.
Have fun!
Sir which kindle do you use
The best 3 inventions:
- push up bras
- air conditioning
- kindle
hahaha
I hope that someday a brand will sell a colored e ink reader coz that would be so useful for school (especially PDFs that have pictures, diagrams, etc.) And of course I hope my broke ass ca afford it.
Thanks for the review bud.I am planning to get mine in next week or two; your video definitely made me take a step forward.
Enjoy it!
I love my kobo, I download all the books I want and send them to one drive, and when I open the e-reader it's all there ready to be read... next time I buy another one I wanna try something like Remarkable, way bigger so it would be easier to read PDFs and graphs in general
You told you wouldn't give any book recommendations. But still I got "Make Time" book suggestion. Thanks
hahaha, just the one!
You did OK on the review, BUT your Trump comment was lame and pinned you as a snowflake, I am sure you are happy to have the disaster of Biden as president. Most Americans would love to have Trump as president over Biden.
I bought my kindle 8 years ago because big epic fantasy books where hurting my hands and back (like literally I was starting to have muscle/tendon issues). I've been a strong proponent of e-readers ever since.
Oh wow!
Agreed 👍 buy a Kindle and won't regret it my Kindle changed my habits
Thank you so much you just make my reason to get my Kindle
I was looking for reviews about kindle because I want to buy one... I'd like to read How to be a Stoic. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Glad it was helpful!
Buiying a kindle paperwhite probably was the best investment I did in the last 4 years (I've bought it in 2017)
Awesome video. I bought a Gen 3 Kindle in year 7 and never looked back (upgraded twice, first to a Paperwhite and then to an Oasis)
Very nice!
i bought a kindle because i cant commit to a single book enough to buy it but i hate reading on my phone lol,,,
(also my library sucks)
Hahah nice!
I also have a kindle and it’s GREAT.I can read WHERE i want and WHEN i want.Because i’m still in school i don’t have much free
time so i can EVEN read at night without click my light on(so that my parents don’t know that i’m reading).Because of the fact that i
read like Warrior Cats 1 too 7 in two days my parents got my a kindle(because the prices are lower).Honestly i don’t read every
time i play video games and have hobby’s.But for the price of the kindle(in Switzerland)this is just💥
A friend gifted me with an old Kindle (2014 model) and now I'm back to reading! It's so much better because I can read anywhere!
I wanted to get some traction so I started reading in November rather than jan. already read 8 books in one month and having a lot of fun.
this is such a good video !! exactly how i feel about my kindle lmao; it rlly pays for itself !! even if you don't want to go down the 🏴☠️ route lmao there are websites with free classics and so many good books that you can read for free; also get calibre for transferring since it transfers the formatting and everything lol. another tip is that u should rlly get a cover for kindles (not the overpriced official amazon ones lol, just any cover off etsy or 3rd party on amazon or whatever) since ereaders tend to be fragile and i've managed to break 2 before even though i was handling them with care :/// other than that, this was a really informative video !!! subscribed hehe 💞
thank you!! :)
I want to quit social media and scrolling and replace it with reading, the addiction is so damn strong
Goooooood. I turned off my tv 🤩I read anything I can get on my kindel. The last position was "Mindhunter", "u.s.s seawolf", and "Admirals"
I was wondering why don't people just use tablets? What makes kindles so expensive? Some of them are $400!
I'm actually pretty surprised at how cheap you can find them at thrift stores. I found an oasis at a thrift store for $12.
Best investment ever??? I mean every about kindle shouts AMAZING. From the beautiful paperlike screen, in built dictionary, zero distraction and ofc free e-books (many sites online have free books) So now I can read books for free absolutely
Hmm free books from the library but a Kindle is a saving? Kindles are good but you're not going to do better than free library loans.
DO NOT BUY!!!!
Thing is worthless. From constantly crashing from opening an app that is a simple game, to not having a GPS and constant ads just to open it. Lets talk about that.
How else do you use your kindle for RUclips aside from making this video review?
I recently got a Kindle and it has changed my life for the better for the same reasons you said your Kindle has changed your life for the better. I used to use my iPad in bed on social media which is the worst thing you can do before sleep if you want to get good sleep. Now I read my Kindle in bed instead and my sleep has been so much better. There are many great books I could recommend but everyone's taste is different so what I really like may not be something you like.
Unlike you , I liked Trump's tweet. That's the only way he could reply to fake news. I guess, the only common thing we share could be Kindle.
Half the video, and you still is talking about what you payed for it… That’s not a good reason for me to buy one….
Advantages of a Kindle is that it is easier to use while eating your lunch. With a paperback book it is near impossible.
