they should’ve registered it somewhere without emissions, and they would’ve been perfectly fine.
Otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to get that car in the states for at least another 10-15 years.
had nothing to do with emissions, everything to do with the government not getting the cut of the foreign sells profits
@@realiizeit meets emissions because it literally was sold in the US with a sedan body
Another criminal action by big brother 😂
Hopefully Trump can end this EPA madness.
He won't
he had 4 years to do it and nothing happened
I don't care much for modern Mercedes. But I love wagons.
it looks way nicer that any commercial car in 2024
Thanks Biden. Land of the free 🤡
Has been a long time before Biden 🤦
I never thought in all my years that people in this country could’ve been so illiterate & ignorant
Braindead
@@MegaGyalisabout cars, yeah tell that to ur stupid epa
Trump told you himself, he loves the uneducated.
Maybe you’ll wake up someday
He could get the Ecu mapped to U.S the car is so similar to US models crash test should apply.
Just because it was labeled wrong during the importation? Crazy
These and CTS-V wagon would be crazy wagons line up
Real man! Car lover, not just a “worker”! Props to him
That car is definitely still in this country
Thats absolutely ridiculous, glad it was saved
Oh thank goodness you saved this car. Not saying I'm a fan of Mercedes, I'm just happy to there wasn't a waste of a perfectly good car.
Dude should’ve put it in storage until it turns 25 years old in 10 years.
I can remember the top gear episode where Jermey Clarkson is driving this down the runway at Manchester Airport along with an M5 saloon. Such a shame these muscle wagons never made it state side.
There should be a law in place that prohibits cars with a certain low production number to be junked/crushed by the goverment.
THANK YOU FOR SAVING THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF OUTDATED ENGINEERING
That’s a collectors item. Engine is a work of art. Like putting a Rembrandt through a crusher
Talk about anxiety 😅!
You had me trippin out that I was going to see it crushed!
THANK YOU 🙏 for NOT CRUSHING THIS INCREDIBLE CAR!
That thing is clean af for a 09!
Thank you for saving this one from being crushed.
The us government is just salty they can't build a piece of art like this 😂
Thank you for saving this beautiful machine
That's owner should get it back! Illinois emissions are very tough to pass. Even my 2000's Honda crv required thousands in repairs to pass over the years. That's a bummer.
“Snuck it out of the country” haha I love y’all for saving that car
